If you have been searching for the ultimate boba drink destination, bubble island is it! I highly recommend the fresh fruit smoothies with tapioca. More specifically, the strawberry mango flavor is Ah-may-zing! The flavor is so fresh and satisfying, unlike other places I've tried that just taste so artificial or just not "right". I also like the fact that they have quite a variety of flavors and options to create the perfect drink fit for what you're looking for.

Left: strawberry rose iced tea Right: Mangonada (my fav!!)

The drinks are always made yummy & the workers are very kind! My boyfriend and I try to stop in whenever we are in town :)

My son and I visited here. It's new (Not sure how new), but we love bubble tea, and always down to check a new place out. It's just as the strip mall stores on the outside. In the same shopping center as Fred Meyer. These inside is nice. Very minimal. A couple tables to sit and enjoy your drink or ice cream, it looked nice and surface clean everywhere. It was easy to order, they have a great selection of flavors and sizes. Even a rewards program. We ordered brown surged milk tea w tapioca bobas, and a almond shake with tapioca boba. It was all super yummy. The shake was an actual shake consistency. Not like blended up ice. The almond wasn't weak, or too strong. The staff was a tad hard to communicate with because of the English barrier but we managed, she was very polite. It did take a bit to get our drinks, and they weren't busy. Idk, if it was just the day, or a regular thing?? Cuz, ya know. It happens. So far, I love it. Totally recommend it if you're a BoBa Lover!!

Such a lovely little spot, love their place in Lakewood so i was super happy to see their place here in Lacey! Got a lychee fresh fruit bubble tea with rainbow jelly and a new flavor toffee mocha milkshake. Delicious! Nice and refreshing after a long work day! Orders to go and wear a mask when you enter and keep them on please!

I finally made it to Bubble Island when they were actually open. The hours aren't posted anywhere and I believe they kind of make their own hours. I believe they've been short handed for the longest time so they're been working with what they've got. Anyway, there are two different main choices for the teas (powdered and real fruit). I opted for a strawberry powdered with mixed jellies. The cashier was friendly then disappeared behind a separator wall to blend up the teas. The waiting area is sparsely furnished and had a few activities to keep the kids busy as well as a foosball table. All the furniture has brightly colored slip covers on them. The bright colors give the shop a festive island look but a festive island feel as many of the slipcovers are not in great shape or stained with substances. The bubble tea is not the greatest nor the worst I've had. I will try the real fruit kind next time and see if my review changes. This place only serves bubble tea so if you're hungry, get food elsewhere.

I love the strawberry guava and the black milk tea (with a hint of taro). The boba is pretty chewy and easily frozen, however they do a great job making sure it's not too sweet. Sometimes the ice cream is freezer burnt. The service there is friendly, although sometimes it's hard to communicate and I feel a little rushed. I feel welcome though! The place is a little intimidating because it's kind of run down. It looks like they were once popular and now Lacey's secret... also hours are pretty unpredictable. Other than that, the tea is good and the boba is obviously fresh and spongy. I will probably continue to go here because of convenience!

When I first saw Bubble Island I was hyped. I thought I had found a new spot to get my bubble tea fix since moving away from Seattle. I assumed it would be good since they specialized in making it. I was wrong and it fails in comparison to Yunnies, WOW, and Gossip. Now, the first time I went ordered the matcha green tea milkshake and it was decent, but the tapioca was overcooked. Instead of being chewy and sweet the tapioca was hard and bitter. I just thought it was a fluke so I came back a week later to try again. This time I ordered an orange mango milkshake and to my dismay I had the same results. Besides, having bad tapioca they have a very limited selection of flavors options and do their no milk tea. Overall, they make a good shake. It a decent place to lounge and play board games with friends or study. Just avoid adding tapioca to your drink.

I was intrigued by the single review (on Urbanspoon), and I am glad I tried this place! The best bubble tea I've ever had, period. Don't be fooled by the poor examples of bubble tea many restaurants out here serve, as I was. Try this place out! They have a loyalty punch card that you need to ask for if you go here regularly. One wasn't offered the first couple times we went here, which is a little irritating, but other than that I was a fan when I lived in Lacey.

Maybe because I am not the biggest fan of this type of dessert, but I tried the new chocolate raspberry flavor, which was nothing special. Salted caramel was overwhelmingly sweet. I love sweet, but that flavor was too much. The milk cocoa flavor not as yummy as I thought... I loved the toppings and this is the first time that I saw a Menchie's be topped off on everything. Impressive! The service was great! Very kind-hearted staff at the front that walked through how the frozen yogurt purchase process worked. did not make me feel dumb when I asked questions. Was very patient to answer questions and clarify the discount for Veterans Day to me. I liked that there were tables in and out of the shop. Felt roomy, even in the area where you get the frozen yogurt and toppings. Pleasantly surprised! I wish that they had more activities with the Menchie's character line, like coloring pages, black/whiteboards, or games. I have seen that at other Menchie's locations, but shockingly not this one... hm

We got the tart cherry cheesecake, and I'm pretty sure it was made by angels and sprinkled with pixie dust! It tastes like the sour cherries I used to pick in the cherry orchards of upstate New York when I was a kid! You know when you get something delicious and all conversation stops? Yep, that happened. Absolutely 10/10. Plus pickup was a breeze - everyone is always so kind! The email reminder for my pickup date was much appreciated too. :) No photo. It's already gone.

I had been meaning to try Humble Cow for a while after a friend recommended it to me, especially…read moresince I was craving ice cream today, so I stopped by in the afternoon around 3pm. I ordered a single scoop of the coconut cream in a waffle cone. At first glance, the scoop looked a little small, but it actually ended up being a satisfying portion. Pricing also felt pretty fair; it's around $5 for a single scoop of ice cream, which isn't bad nowadays (considering the economy), and the waffle cone was only a little extra. They also offer some dairy-free flavors, which is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant, like myself (I still ignored my better judgment and went for the coconut cream anyway LOL). For my kiddo, I ordered a root beer float with a single scoop of cookies and cream ice cream shortly before I had to go pick him up from school, and he really enjoyed it as an after-school treat. While sitting inside, I noticed how surprisingly busy this place gets for an ice cream shop. The seating setup was nice too, especially the little single-seat table that worked perfectly for someone visiting alone like me. They also have a filtered water station available for customers, which I thought was pretty nice since I was thirsty after finishing my ice cream, along with an outdoor seating area if you'd rather sit outside. Unfortunately, the outside patio area doesn't really catch much sunlight, so if you're hoping to sit in the sun, the best spot is probably near the front entrance instead. The shop itself was also very clean. Whenever there was downtime, the staff stayed busy cleaning windows, making waffle cones, or working in the back. As for the ice cream itself, I thought it was good. The coconut cream almost had a slightly sherbet-like texture to it, but I actually didn't mind. The flavor selection had enough variety, and it looks like they rotate limited-time flavors as well. None of the seasonal ones stood out to me this visit, but I'd probably be interested in coming back around fall. I do wish they had more consistently available unique flavors though (things like matcha, taro, or Thai tea would be amazing). The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star experience for me was the customer service. It wasn't rude, just very flat and straightforward. From observing all the interactions, the staff was noticeably more energetic and cheerful whenever families or kids walked in. Meanwhile, interacting with me felt a little dismissive in comparison. Not a huge deal, but it was blatantly obvious, and I felt a little uncomfortable. Still, the ice cream was tasty, affordable, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough that I could see myself stopping by again someday.
