Their coffee is not my cup of tea... tried them 3 different times and didn't even finish it the last time. Very bland and not great tasting.

My friend recommended Pho Yelm and had been here before, so naturally I had to try it out as well…read moreso we stopped by for lunch last week. I thought it was pretty decent. Was it life-changing pho that altered my DNA and gave me a new outlook on existence? No. But was it tasty, filling, reasonably priced, and exactly what I wanted when I was hungry? Absolutely. I ordered the combination pho and thought the portion was a pretty fair size for the price. It was filling and satisfying, and we were hungry enough that we completely finished mostly everything. Well, I did anyway lol. The weather was cold so slurping all of the broth hit the spot (my friend consumed everything else but still had leftover broth smh). I am unfortunately the kind of person who immediately reaches for the Sriracha and hoisin sauce. Ofc, I added both to my pho, so I can't give a completely unbiased review of the broth by itself. But with my usual sauce crimes committed, I enjoyed the pho and felt the overall quality was good. We also got some potstickers, which were pretty tasty. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the service was quick and efficient. No complaints there. The restaurant itself is actually pretty spacious, with plenty of tables and enough room to walk around without having to perform an accidental obstacle course around someone's chair. Always appreciated. Parking, however, was a little less straightforward. We parked on the street in front, and it felt somewhat challenging because of the street setup. My biggest enemy here was not the food. It was the blender. For some reason, the smoothie blender is stationed right by the front counter, and when they make a drink, that thing ROARS. I would be mid-conversation with my friend and suddenly it was like we had been transported onto an active construction site. I could not hear a single word until the blender mercifully stopped. Great for smoothies, less great for maintaining a conversation. I'd give Pho Yelm 4 stars. Good pho, good potstickers, fair prices and portions, and fast service. Nothing that I would consider mind-blowing for Vietnamese food, me being a Viet from Saigon myself, but I definitely would say I had a satisfying meal and I might come back when the pho craving hits (if I'm ever in Yelm again). Just maybe don't tell me anything important while they're making a smoothie. :^)

Okay, I gotta say..LaBoba is the best boba I've found in Lacey so far!…read moreI've been on the hunt for a yummy boba spot ever since moving to Washington a little over a month ago, and I can confidently say this is the best one I've tried in Lacey so far. Even better, it's only about a 15 minute drive from home for me, so I already know I'll be coming back regularly! The shop was starting to get busy when I first arrived with my kiddo, and by the time we settled down in the back with our orders brought to us, all the tables had filled up. Despite the busyness, the atmosphere still felt relaxed and welcoming, giving off vibes that encourages you to actually sit and enjoy your drink without feeling rushed, if you decide to stay. They even have board games available if you want to hang out a bit longer. The service here is spectacular!! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell because they take their time with you (no pressure when ordering) and are more than happy to answer questions. I ordered the crème brûlée milk tea, which already comes with boba and crème brûlée foam, but I was curious about the ube foam too. The staff member walked me through all my options and helped me land on a half crème brûlée, half ube foam combo, which ended up being so creamy and delicious. I appreciate them being so patient with me because I can be a little indecisive with what I want lol. My son ordered the Thai tea with boba and tried the ube foam for the first time. He felt like the foam was a bit overpowering for his drink (all you could see was ube foam after he mixed his drink instead of the standard orange Thai tea), but honestly, I loved how generous they were with it for our drinks. If you're an ube fan, you won't be disappointed! We also shared a crème brûlée croiffle, and wowwee, that was a treat that totally hit the spot for my sweet tooth. The sauce was rich, sweet, and creamy, making it the perfect dessert to go along with our drinks. Once again, the staff did not disappoint and I was pleased how attentive they remained throughout our visit. They even promptly cleared our trash and plates without us having to ask, which just reiterates how on top of their customer service they are. First visit was such a great experience! Delicious drinks, amazing service, and a cozy vibe. I am totally returning and I'd absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quality boba place in the area!

They make it very clear that they are open -- the lights are bright, and as soon as you walk in, the staff is already prepared to take your order at the front counter. They were also actively cleaning tables to make sure customers had a place to sit. The seating was nicer than what you usually see in typical boba shops. The regular chairs had padding with a suede-like material, which made them super comfortable. They also have a bench-style seating area where you can sit back and relax. Overall, the space felt very living room-esque. As for the boba, it was great -- soft, chewy, and cooked well. The milk tea was sweet just the way that I like it, and I did not even have to specify a sweetness level; I just got the standard. The ice level was also perfect -- not too much -- so I actually got a full drink instead of mostly ice. I rated this place five stars mainly because of the staff. They were extremely attentive. I brought in outside food (not sure if that is technically allowed...oops), but they went out of their way to bring me a ladle, utensils, and chopsticks so I could choose what I preferred. I did not feel uncomfortable to ask for anything, and their overall energy made it feel like I could genuinely hang out with them one-on-one. They were watchful, friendly, and easygoing. I also thought it was adorable that they have a big statue of their mascot in the middle of the shop -- it really gives personality to the place and lets you know exactly where you are.

I had such a great first experience at this location, I went back the next day and ordered again…read more It was so good. I had been hitting up the food truck, up the way. Bobablastic at the food truck court in Lacey!! Food trucks are fun, aren't they!? Gotta support local small businesses. I was wondering if there were any other places that served these fun Bubble Slurping, Popping In Your Mouth, Scrumptious Drinks!? So, I googled nearby places and to my surprise there were several!! So, I chose TinTin!! I ordered The tarp with, coconut milk and tapioca boba bubbles. (Yeowza!!) It was SO GOOD!! The first visit the lady behind the register didn't speak much English, but was so nice, and welcoming. Had the biggest smile on her face, spoke enough English to help me out the best she could, answer questions with Bubble flavors and what not. Yes, I'm one of those people that ask all the questions cuz I'm still a Bubble Tea Newbie!! ‍ I won't be a newbie forever. I gotta start somewhere. Lol My second visit I ordered the brown Sugar tea... It was featured on the flyer. I attached a photo below. Dear lord, help me!! It was BEYOND Delish!! Unfortunately, I didn't have the same lady serve me this time. She was younger and not as friendly when I approached her with questions. She was more short, and acted irritated that I didn't know what I wanted to drink right away. Maybe she was having a bad day?? It wasn't bad enough where I'll never return, but enough to where I needed to mention it here. ‍ So, I guess we shall see on my next visit. Lol I haven't tried any of the food at this location so I can't review that. As for the ambiance of the restaurant it is very nice inside. It is a smaller establishment, but there are tables where you can dine in if you'd like. I'd definitely come dine in and try out their food sometime. Especially if the first employee I did business with is working. So far, I can recommend this place for their Bubble Teas. They're Greeeaat!!

I only lived here for barely a year, but the boba was so squishy and sweet! I got a mix of chocolate Nutella strawberry and omg...the drink was soooo good. Still think about it 'til this day! I hate that there are no outlets here, so could not do my work :/ lots of booths, yes, but the other half of the table are chairs. easy parking and a bit of dim lighting. it seemed off-white of a shade, which I no like as much because it makes everything look bland

I'm rating Boba and Beyond based on my overall experience and, of course, the taste of the boba…read more I recently moved to the area from California, so I'll admit my boba expectations might be a little high. This place had great reviews, so I was excited to try it. Overall, I'd say it reminds me of T4 -- it's just okay. When I walked in, there was no one inside and only one staff member working. It wasn't busy at first, but a line quickly started forming. With just one employee making drinks, it didn't seem ideal for handling multiple customers, so you may end up waiting a bit during busier moments. I ordered the matcha taro cloud with boba -- two flavors I really love together. The milk tea itself was actually pretty good. It wasn't watery and had a nice consistency. However, the employee forgot to add boba to both my drink and the customer after me. I had already walked out and taken a few sips before realizing it was missing, so I had to go back in to get it added. She was apologetic and I appreciate that she promptly fixed it. The boba itself ended up a little underwhelming. I might just be used to the soft, honey boba from Bober Tea, but this one tasted firmer than I prefer. I personally like my boba softer. I do wish the quality of the boba was better and that my order had been accurate from the start. Still, it seems like a nice, simple spot for basic boba -- and it's conveniently located right next to Safeway, so it's easy to grab a drink before or after doing your grocery shopping. Would I come back? Maybe, but I'd probably manage my expectations next time.

The service is quick and speedy, they are kind and tell you their offerings. I got two bubble tea drinks. One milk and one strawberry. The strawberry is fine, the milk is fine too but the tea is different than what I'm used to. It's more of a deeper bitter black tea. Not horrible but surprise taste and not that sweet. Which is fine for me. They have the bubble waffles and the house specials look interesting. Especially the mango lassi and it appears they serve dumplings too if the pictures are any indication. I like this place, it's nice and bright and a good place to study/work and get a snack. I think with more business and expansion of the menu, it would skyrocket. I won't lie, when I saw the lassi on the menu, I had hoped for a rich chai too because we don't get that around here. I have to make it on my own now. Also, while it appears they can steam and waffle, a savory waffle and maybe savory steamed buns would be good.
