I was the only customer at one point. I noticed a younger girl by the name of Kaley/Kali assisted three different vehicles that arrived after me with drying off their vehicle. Not once did she ask or even attempt to assist with my vehicle. Highly offended and even more disappointed due to the fact that I am 4 months pregnant and the help would've been nice. If I should mention I was the only African American individual out there and the others that she assisted were not of African American descendant. This actually makes me feel like taking my business elsewhere because It far from polite that I noticed this behavior.

Since we grew up here, we knew about some of the differences between the areas: way more Tex-Mex and BBQ, way less Cuban food. Way more traffic, no zoning laws on I-45, etc. But one very small difference we've noticed is a weird one: there are 10 million car washes but almost none of them are self-serve. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was on the verge of trading in my old vehicle and wanted to get it cleaned up before taking it to the dealer. I drove to several car washes only to find out that they were exclusively self-serve. I eventually found one place that was about 25 minutes away in Conroe, but between the commute and the wait, it ate up 2-3 hours of my day. Could I just wash the cars myself? Yes. Am I way too lazy to do that? Yes. Enter: the need for mobile detailing. I searched through my neighborhood Facebook group for personal recommendations and found these guys. We texted back and forth on a Tuesday to set up time on a Friday for them to come by and wash both of our cars. It took about 3-3.5 hours but I didn't have to leave my house and my wife and I both just sat in our offices and worked the whole time. Meanwhile, the quality of the work was great and the cost was very fair - about the same as I paid at the place I took my old car to. And significantly less than a nearby detail shop was charging. I will definitely be scheduling repeat appointments with these guys a few times a year as long as they keep doing it!

When you drive down the road and you see a car that really stands out, the paint looks like you could swim in it and there isn't a blemish or spot on the bodywork that doesn't look perfect... that's this kind if work. I highly recommend Steamworks for your next detail....you will learn what a real detailer can do as opposed to these car washes that just hand wash your car and call it a detail. They use steam (obviously) so it gets it cleaner than just rubbing and vacuuming. They don't use chemicals so you don't have a weird smell that needs to be covered up with "new car" scents. It will just smell like a new car because it is as close as you're going to get .

When I pulled around, a young man named Preston helped me clean my floor mats. He took them and ran them through the mat machine, then came back and taught me a trick with using the air gun to get excess dirt removed from the mats. I also love the towels, spray, and the fact that their machines are always working.
