So I came in to buy a tea, and I ended up trying something from each section in their menu. I'm now sitting here, full of boba, sparkling punch, milk foam, tea and macaroons to tell you this: Folks, if you're looking for that "hidden gem", come to Bubble Nation - they have a really great atmosphere, attentive staff, and they personally designed every single drink they sell. They're flavorful without being too sweet, and really creative without being too wild. I know people love to go for those top-shelf words when describing something, but Bubble Nation is amazing. They were using Hood whole milk. I stopped by Yuki Bubble Tea during the grand opening and the place was getting slammed because they were offering BOGO free drinks. The standing and seating areas were busy. I ordered the Medium Taro Bubble Tea ($6.45 plus tax) and a Medium Tiramisu Milk Tea ($6.45 plus tax/actually free). Orders were backed up and they already ran out of several ingredients. They substituted white pearls for the black pearls in the taro drink, which I okayed. My order number was called ready in 28 minutes after ordering. The taro bubble tea drink was not the light purple color I'd expected, but a light brown color iced milk tea drink. This drink was sweet and cold and the substituted white pearls did the job. The tiramisu milk tea had a bit sweeter flavor than the taro milk tea drink and topped with a cool foam. I added some of the white pearls from the other drink to this drink. Overall, both cold milk tea drinks were okay. The staff was trying to rush things due to the crowds in the store.
