Avocado durian smoothie with oat milk is the best smoothie I've ever had. I've had avocado smoothies at other places but this is the best.

I was waiting for a take out order from Sichuanese. I'm kind of addicted to boba so I yelped the closest, it's right across the street. I was surprised it was open since these hours said it was closed on Sunday - hours updated now! I got lavender milk tea and the drink itself tasted really sweet, like the syrupy artificial type of sweet. The boba had a nice chewy texture and wasn't over or undercooked. I'd maybe go back to try a slushie instead if I was around, but wouldn't make a trip there specifically for boba. read more

Currently sipping on a papaya smoothie on this warm day and I must say, the boba here is a hit or miss. Been here a few times and so far, the drinks have been pretty average. The tapioca has consistently been a bit too chewy for my taste. As for the drinks, I highly recommend getting the fresh fruit choices, like avocado :) Very fresh and not too sweet to drink. As for the other drinks, like the mixed or fruit juices, I feel like these aren't quite up to par as other boba places. The selection is quite limited to smoothies and fruit juices, so don't expect to order milk tea or anything. Prices are a bit higher than the average [$5 and up] for the boba here and there is a small variety of snacks offered. Overall, the place is clean and colorful and isn't hard to find. It's a small, humble, and unassuming mom and pop shop, but this place is the real deal. REAL. DEAL. I've been coming here for about two years. The first time I had their fresh fruit smoothie, I vowed never to return to the days of false boba. False boba = those typical milk tea/smoothie drinks made from powdered mixes. False boba is bad boba. Just say no to bad boba. THIS PLACE IS GOOD BOBA. My regular drink is the Taro/Coconut smoothie with tapioca pearls. It so good, so fresh, so tasty, that I wondered if some nefarious powdered mix might be adulterating the flavor. Could it be that good with no additives? For confirmation, I asked the owner (super nice guy) and he smiled, reached into the fridge in the back, and handed me a fat piece of real taro on a toothpick. It was refrigerated (not frozen) and I ate it, and it was good. He then spoke disparagingly of the powdered mix used by so many others and proudly emphasized that it's only real fruit that rides in their blenders. Awesome. Tip: there is some sugar added to the smoothies. I started asking for half the amount of added sugar and glad I did. The fruit flavor becomes truer this way and the overall drink becomes healthier. Unless you absolutely need to have a super sweet drink, you may want to consider asking for "less sugar." The only thing to note is that the tapioca pearls can sometimes be too hard. This has only happened a few times but it is worth mentioning. (The Papaya/Coconut fruit smoothie I am drinking as I write this has boba that is perfectly chewy and soft, so there you go) In short, this is my place of choice for fresh fruit smoothie boba drinks. read more

Got the durian smoothie and it came out to be around $5.50 which is without any toppings which on the pricey side. As for drink quality, it was very yummy and refreshing! Wow, I just started coming here and I love it! The service is very friendly. They don't speak much English but enough to communicate with English-speaking customers and they are very sweet. Their fruit shakes are $4.95 plus tax and are very tasty. I love the avocado shake. Tapioca is included in the price. The tapioca is okay. Boyfriend and I wanted to get bubble tea the other day after a hot afternoon of grocery shopping. We've gotten bubble tea or boba from literally every place that has it in the ID/Chinatown except for here. So going on a whim we decided to try it. The menu was very different from what we had expected. We were used to seeing teas and were presented with all fruit juices/fruit smoothies, which is not a bad option! We settled on the Avocado Fruit Smoothie and a Strawberry Fruit Smoothie. I noticed that while they were making both, they had used fresh fruit! Super excited about that! Most Boba shops that do fruit juice/fruit smoothies use artificial flavoring but this was the real deal. You could also taste it in the drink! We had gotten tapioca/boba in both of our drinks. I'm used to my boba being sweeted (using brown sugar syrup when it's made) but the boba there was not sweetened and was a bit too chewy. Downside would have to be the price. It's on the pricey-er end than it's fellow competitors, however they make up for it in the freshness. I also wished they had a larger variety of fruit. I had a hard time choosing a flavor. My go to all time favorite fruit is Passion Fruit/Lilikoi and I was a really bummed that wasn't on the menu. They carried DURIAN of all things but no Passion Fruit or Guava! So hopefully that'll change later down the line. For now I will settle with Avocado or Strawberry. read more

After seeing the grand opening sign, my friend and I were excited to check it out. We arrived a few days later a little bit after 10am(the time it opens) and the store was not yet open. We arrived again later, and the appearance and decor is nice. My friend and I had high hopes. I guess it was our mistake when we just got the mango smoothie. It just depends on how ripe the fruit is, ours was sour. Probably, because they do use real fruit which could explain the prices. The cup was weird, our drink wasn't even filled to the top (there is only one size). The problem, there's no option to add tapioca or rainbow jelly for a charge (example 50cents). Therefore you're paying for tapioca or jelly whether you want it or not. The selection of jelly is really limited, only rainbow. The tapioca was really hard, and chewy in a bad way. Also, the cashier gave our change after we got our drink, which is weird. Whenever I pass by, the store tends to be closed when it should be open. read more

The waitress told me they were out of boba after I had already paid and sat down. She didn't offer me a refund or apologize. I've never heard of Chai milk tea so I got the vanilla one, and asked for it to be 1/2 as sweet. Glad I did because it was definitely sweet enough with just 1/2. Super good! I went here on Friday, April 28th, 2017. It was a small store in a strip mall located in the Vietnamese area of Seattle's International District. Although the surrounding neighborhood had some trash on the pavement and graffiti on the walls, the inside of this store looked and smelled quite clean. I only saw one employee there, but she was very polite and provided quick service. The room was not over decorated as is common these days, just simple and clean and there was a tv on off to the side when you enter. All in all, it was different than I expected, a more simple, cozy atmosphere, and clean. I ordered a large Durian smoothie with Passion Fruit boba. They serve food in addition to juices and smoothies, but I did not try any of it. The smoothie I purchased (large for $5.45) was very good -- I had not tried durian before, and it was a bit different than anything I had ever eaten or drank, but really very good. Next time I am in the area, I would like to go back here and try something else! LOCATION - 4 Stars (conveniently located in the International District, Downtown Seattle, only downside is the surrounding run-down strip mall) CLEANLINESS - 5 Stars (VERY clean inside!!)
