We had a little family day out at Alki Beach on a Friday evening, and after walking around, we needed a snack. Decided to stop by Natalie's Sugarcane. First of all, I didn't realize they have TWO locations! one in Tukwila, which I go to pretty often, and this one right by Alki. But y'all, WHAT IN THE TARNATIONS?! The Alki location is such a VIBE! It was a beautiful sunny day, and sitting there with the warm weather, Vietnamese music playing, and the food coming out... I swear I felt like I was back in Southeast Asia for a minute. I do wish they decorated the outdoor seating area a little more to really lean into that tropical Southeast Asian vibe because the location has SO much potential, but honestly, the atmosphere was already giving. And here's what surprised me: I didn't realize Natalie's at Alki serves REAL FOOD! We got: Crab & Shrimp Fried Rice SO GOOD. Flavorful, packed with seafood, and definitely hit the spot. Mango Salad , Y'ALL!! THIS ONE?! The combination of fresh mango and avocado on a sunny day was PERFECT. Sweet, fresh, creamy, refreshing. I could've eaten the whole bowl myself! Literally almost did had to share LOL! we got Fries because honestly, you can never go wrong with fries. And of course, you already know we had to get the drinks! Their kumquat sugarcane drink is always a good choice. They also have gelato at this location, which I didn't even know! So now I already have another excuse to come back and try more of their menu. Tukwila location does have food but menus are a little different, so now I definitely need to go back and compare! Overall, Natalie's Alki is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're spending the day at Alki Beach. Grab some food, get yourself a sugarcane drink, sit outside, listen to some Vietnamese music, and pretend you're on vacation in Southeast Asia for an hour. read more

Great location right on Alki! As a result, parking is street only and can be challenging on weekends. I ordered online via Clover, and my drink was ready when I arrived. I wanted to try a new.drink, so I ordered Sugarcane Matcha with Coco Cream. Sugarcane juice was way too sweet without something sour to balance. I will stick to my usual of either Kumquat or Passionfruit Sugarcane. They also offer pastries, ice cream and food. And there are both indoor and ourdoor seatings available. Natalie's on Alki delivered the goods and made summertime in Seattle really feel like summer. From my Traditional Sugarcane Juice (using REAL sugarcane) to my Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Pork and Eggroll that I ordered for lunch, the food and drinks we enjoyed were all very delicious and tasted fresh! They have a nice view from across the street of Alki Beach from their pretty roomy outdoor patio seating and it's a prime location for people-watching. We had an overall wonderful first dining experience at Natalie's. We look forward to many more visits and making this one of our regular spots. This is such a great place to stop by when you're in Alki! The sugarcane juices were refreshing and not overly sweet, and they use real sugar cane. We also got the avocado smoothie which was really creamy. We chose 50% sweet, but it wasn't sweet at all so I'd recommend 75% or 100% sweetness. A win for West Seattle!! disclaimer: I am viet so this review is slightly biased. BUT I wasn't a fan sugarcane juice at all. My cousin introduced me to sugarcane and we would have to drive all the way to Lam's Seafood (Tukwila) for a sugarcane fix. Having Natalie's open a location in West Seattle has been great! Enjoying a sugarcane juice OR a Viet coffee by the water is my new Seattle vibe. They also sell other drinks and snacks. I personally haven't tried the snacks here but they look delicious. It is naturally sweet, zero added sugar and has tons of flavors to try. I also loved lemon sugarcane flavor. They also have smoothies, slushies, lemonades, teas. Third time trying something from Natalie's and every single time it's been so mid that it's bad. The first time I went was the one in Tukwilla, which Ik isn't this location but it's under the same name. I ordered a Thai tea bc how could a Viet place possibly mess up Thai tea right? Wrong. It was so watery, I felt bad for my sister for buying me that drink when I could've made it ten times better at home. Second time, I got a matcha milk tea and it tasted like straight up green tea. I KNOW that matcha is made from green tea but it TASTES DIFFERENT!! I felt brave that day and asked them to remake it this time bc it just straight up tasted like they got my order wrong but no. They even tried to convince me that it's matcha and explain what matcha is to me. I regretted getting something from her both times when I could make any of these drinks at home and have it actually taste good and authentic. I would price it at $14 for the type of quality u get. Plus even if u order in, they still give it to u in a box and don't even walk out ur order to u. The passionfruit tea had seeds that our friend said was too crunchy and seedy for his tastes. The avocado shake we requested to be made with soy milk but when we got it, it just tasted like avocado and not a smoothie. My friend and I ordered the passionfruit fruit green tea with lychee jelly & Vietnamese Coffee with salt foam. The iced Vietnamese coffee was definitely my favorite out of the two. It had a strong coffee flavor and the sweetness from the condense milk added a lot of flavor that counter balanced any bitterness from the coffee.
