Bad customer service. came in 8/7/24 in the morning and ask the lady if she can turn on the fans because it was hot and she responded no because she was cold and it was cold outside. Not even the front door was open to let the breeze in. Multiple people have gone up to her already and keeps telling them the same thing. Also an elderly man went up to her to ask if she can turn on the tv and she told him in 20 minutes. Time passes and he ask her again she says 5 minutes she doesn't turn them on until 10am. I recently had my clothes dropped off there and they stole all of my laundry. They did not return my laundry, and then they tried to tell me nobody spoke English, so they could not help me, and I have very expensive clothes that they stole from me. read more

Apparently it is not possible at this location to just use a dryer without purchasing a wash also. I was basically asked to leave (rather tersely) by the attendant when I tried to use a dryer. I didn't see any signs indicating that it wasn't possible to just purchase dryer time. Apparently things have changed since I last had occasion to use a coin laundromat. read more

Potentially RACIST TOWARDS POC. So I came in today March 24, 2021 at 11:05 am. I went to get change for laundry, by the front desk area, & when I went to put my second five dollar bill in & the machine started to not accept it, a Hispanic male worker came up & notified the female Hispanic desk worker that it wasn't working. They both then proceeded to ask me if I'd come to just get change or wash, I told them I just came for change like I always do. They then told me to get out & go that away, & that this is for "paying customers only". When I reminded them I do this all the time & asked them how come they never do this to any other customer, they got dismissive & only repeated that I should go that away to a business down the way. I proceeded to leave & they spoke with each other angrily in Spanish as I walked away. At 12 noon I sent my Caucasian ex gf to go that same location on Lewis Ave in Waukegan to get change & she came back with no issues whatsoever. In fact she put the other two five dollar bills I sent, & even had time to add a whole lot more money if she opted to do so. The time now is 12:19pm & she just made it back. I am a dark skinned person of color & at the time was the only person of dark skinned complexion in that laundry mat. Not sure if it was an issue of racism or if they just wanted to be rude. Either way, I've never had this issue before today, & not one worker ever even bothered to approach me til literally today. Yelp asks us to rate these businesses with stars. This use to be a great place to go to when they stayed open till almost 2 o'clock. Now they say they close at Midnight but when I go there to wash I was told that they now close at 10:00 pm. I can understand if it's slow and maybe closing up a little early but I got there little past Ten.They still even have up on their business doors that they are open until midnight.....so misleading read more

I went this past Sunday and did not expect it to be overcrowded, but it was for the first time. I came here because of the free dryers. This place is just going downhill since the owner is trying to save every penny. These are the things that happened in just one visit: 1 It is like ten degrees outside and no heat in laundry mat. 2 Too make matters worse, 14 dryers on one side of the laundry mat was not to be touched or they would charge you for drying. They did work, but they were trying to reduce the free dryers in a crowded laundry mat. I was here for 4 hours because customers were fighting for dryers. 3. Half of all the washing machines and some free dryers were out of order. 2 out the 3 washing machines did not work efficiently. One machine rattled every time it came to drain the water. The other machine did not take all the soap. 4 There is no hot water at all in this place. 5 most of the lights were turned off, then when it started getting dark outside they turned the rest on. 6 The machines have foul smells and the laundry mat was dirty all over. 7 An attendant was turning all the dryers from high heat to medium heat. I keep turning my side all dryers to high heat. They had no business doing this, It took longer to dry the clothes, one hour and fifteen minutes to be exact. Ridiculous! read more
