This place is a hidden treasure. Simply driving past the gate into the property is like driving back in time. And then pretty quickly I was so absorbed with the beautiful rare nature surroundings that my mind was completely off of the busy hustle-bustle, and daily stresses. Next came the almost magical relaxation, self-reflection, pleasant past memories and happiness. After a few day I was totally rested, recharged and rejuvenated! IT MUST BE EXPERIENCED TO UNDERSTAND. Now I know why they call it Miracle Hill. The healthy odorless hot mineral water soaking tubs, nature and beautiful views, and simplicity are a great combo! Granted this kind of place is not for everybody, but it is absolute Heaven for most. Check out the Desert Oasis photo!!!

Just got married here and it was exactly what we wanted! A beautiful desert oasis that brought the majesty of nature and southwestern style into one magical experience. We were given the three houses on-site which allowed us to put our parties up for the weekend and they even gave us the grounds from Thursday to Sunday so we could come early. They were very accommodating with how we wanted to organize things and where we wanted the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We couldn't have asked for a venue that brought the desert landscapes we love so much into the wedding. We brought in our own catering, staff, rentals, lighting, etc. so the event was entirely our own within this amazing venue. Plus Arturo was the man! This place was absolutely wonderful as a magical space to host our wedding. We even had an owl crash the wedding which was a hit with the guests.

We stayed in Unit #3 for two nights in April and, unfortunately, it fell far short of our…read moreexpectations. Here's why I can only give it one star: Stale, musty room: On arrival the air felt heavy and the dishes were still dirty--guests are expected to wash, dry and put away every pot and plate before checking out. There's no housekeeping, no daily room service--this operates more like an Airbnb than a hotel. Worn furnishings: Several pieces showed visible wear, and the reading lamp above our bed hung loosely from its cord. Unwelcoming plunge pool: There are no chairs or loungers, it isn't heated, and with 45 mph winds whisking through the courtyard, our so-called "pool time" lasted about five minutes. Remote location: A 25-minute drive to downtown Palm Springs, surrounded by modest residential streets and few shops or restaurants. The only local gem--Cabot's Pueblo Museum--is worth the trip out, but don't expect dining or nightlife within walking distance. Constant high winds: We couldn't use the patio or outdoor seating at all. Everywhere else in the valley was calm, so it wasn't just seasonal. We would have happily taken a refund and rebooked closer to town--there are so many charming alternatives (Trixie Motel, Korakia, Tommy Bahama's Mira Monte). Unless you're on a Mid-Century Modern tour that includes Lautner's work, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I was also very disappointed that we were expected to do dishes, take out trash, etc. This was not presented as an Airbnb style accomodation. Why are we paying a cleaning fee if all they are doing is swapping linens? We were super excited but very disappointed.

Tracy genuinely wants to help the bride and groom, and she was always great in answering all the questions I had. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Two Bunch Palms, although it ultimately ended up being a…read moretale of two very different experiences. The grounds, pools, and dining were outstanding, while the room itself was a significant disappointment. -- Property The property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are immaculately maintained and have a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to switch off. The mineral tubs were undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. We loved that they could be reserved for private use, and during our midweek visit it was surprisingly easy to either secure a reservation or use one if another guest didn't arrive within the 15-minute grace period. It made the whole experience feel much more exclusive and relaxing. -- Service The front desk team also deserves recognition. Every member of staff we interacted with was genuinely warm, welcoming, and helpful. They even accommodated an early check-in at around 2:00 PM, which was greatly appreciated. -- Room Unfortunately, the room was where things fell apart. We stayed in a Desert Suite and found it surprisingly basic, lacking both character and the sense of luxury the resort markets itself around. The stained sofa and ugly, dated cushions looked more at home in a budget motel than a luxury wellness retreat. Small details also felt out of place at this price point, including the single-ply toilet paper and a toilet lid without a soft-close hinge. Every time it accidentally slipped from your hand it slammed shut loudly enough that both we and the guests next door could hear it. Because the adjoining room shared a thin bathroom wall, we could also hear virtually every sound whenever our neighbors used their bathroom (we literally heard groaning, farting, and plopping as they were using their toilet!!), which wasn't exactly the tranquil spa experience we had imagined. The shower products were just ok - quite watery and we never really felt clean after using them. All of that said, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The room was honestly such a letdown that it made us question whether we'd return, which is a shame because almost everything else about the property was excellent. -- Food & Drink The restaurant, however, exceeded every expectation. We'd heard before arriving that the food was good, but it was genuinely phenomenal - some of the best food we've had while staying anywhere in California. Every meal we had, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, was exceptional, with consistently high-quality ingredients and beautifully executed dishes. We especially appreciated the all-day brunch menu, which meant we never had to plan our day around when breakfast finished. It allowed us to fully relax and eat whenever we felt like it, which perfectly complemented the pace of the resort. We ended up dining at the restaurant every single day of our stay and never once felt tempted to go elsewhere. Judging by the number of guests we overheard complimenting the food to their servers, we weren't the only ones who felt this way. We also LOVED that you could order food and drinks directly to the tubs by scanning a QR code. The process was seamless, and every order we placed (around 4-5 throughout our stay) arrived impressively quickly - drinks typically within 5-10 minutes and food within 20 minutes. -- Two Bunch Palms gets so much right. The setting is beautiful, the mineral tubs are worth the trip on their own, the staff are genuinely welcoming, and the restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. If the rooms received the same level of attention as the rest of the property, this would easily be one of our favorite resorts in Southern California. We'd happily return for the food, the grounds, and the tubs, but we'd struggle to justify another overnight stay unless the accommodations were significantly improved.

SO MANY COCKROACHES…read more There are A LOT of cockroaches here. When the sun goes down, they're running all over the walkways. It's a bit unnerving. They're also in the rooms - we found 3 in our room, told staff, they said they would send someone but never did. They just said "oh no! Apologies for the inconvenience" They're also in the pools. Our last night, sitting in the shallow meditation pool, I felt something on my shoulder, swiped it away and discovered it was the most massive 2.5 inch cockroach on me frantically trying to swim away. It was my worst nightmare. After that, every little thing I felt I kept thinking was another cockroach crawling on me. Really soured our experience here. Yes the grounds are beautiful, the waters are incredible, restaurant food was good, the bed was super comfortable, and our favorite part is the pools are open 22 hours a day (closed from 6-8am for cleaning) which means we can enjoy them late at night when most people are sleeping - a rare thing to do at a resort as most places prevent guests from enjoying any public water therapy after 9 or 10 at night. It has the potential to be a really amazing place but after seeing probably 30+ cockroaches on the property, in our room, and then crawling on me, I just can't really recommend this place as a peaceful sanitary getaway. I mean this place is infested and the resort doesn't seem to really care how much it's negatively impacting their guests. So if they don't care, then I'm certainly not going to be a patron of their business. If they reach out and try to make it right, if they improve then I'll update my review.

Well where do I start? My 3-day trip to O Spa 'Resort' was my 4th trip. And probably my last. I did…read more3 day passes since Coachella rates were $450 a night. I arrived on Friday to a cold main pool (i wish I'd measured the temp) and the overflow drain was plugged and backing up into the pool. Crud was flowing into the pool. So a cold dirty pool. Ok. You see, I'm a hot springs nerd and this is why I go to O Spa. For the water. Clean unchlorinated water. Upon then investigating the lower shallow pool, all the fresh hot water was on full blast in that pool and going to drain and down the hill. All that hot water SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE MAIN POOL. So I spoke with Marcos the new manager about it and he's awesome. I told him about the fresh water pipe that used to flow into the main pool and its valve which was now cut off by a saw. Why? So I get why they didn't want more water going into the pool as it will literally overflow if the drain is clogged. Ok, I convinced him to pump out the overflow drain (I went to my van to retrieve a pump... who brings a pump to a resort? ME! I told you I'm a hot springs nerd). By the time I had come back, Marcos had connected a length of pipe to the hot source! Awesome ! Let's pump this cold nasty water out and fill with CLEAN. NOPE! Rick the owner intercepted my idea and was scolding Marcos when I came back with the pump in hand. 'Why is he holding a pump?' I overheard him ask. TO FIX THE PROBLEM! I retreated to my lounge chair without saying a word and began thinking I should forfeit my 3 days of money and go to Mi Kasa or any number of other hot springs on that Miracle Hill. But no, I stuck it out. So now they are filtering this stagnant water and heating it. While you have FREE HOT FRESH WATER FROM THE EARTH! This is not why I came... to swim in cold chlorinated water. Ok so by Sunday the pool had finally heated to 92 degrees (yes I measured it because I'm a hot springs nerd) and it was decent enough. I didn't put my head under water tho. Nope. But with this method of heating, the other two pools got out of whack. The grotto pool was a nice 97 degrees Friday where many of us watched Coachella together (thanks to me also bringing a 2.1 sound system and an iPad) , but then Saturday night, it was 102 degrees and you couldn't just stay in for hours. Why? Because the main pool overflow drain! Fix that! You have to! Is that even legal? Seriously, what does the Riverside County Health Department think about that? I'm going to inquire. Fill the pool with fresh hot water and let it drain. Let it flow. I am one of the few people that use and even know how to fill the stand-alone bathtub. It's awesome to drink morning coffee in your own tub in the chilly desert air. But again, you have to turn off the lower tub valve to provide pressure to the bathtub. And if you close it all the way? The whole system crashes and then there is zero water. PUT SOME SIGNS UP! Also, you have to bring your own bathtub drain plug. They can't provide a bathtub drain plug? So the bathtub is useless unless you're a nerd like me. Ok, now let's talk about ice. People have to leave the resort and drive into town to get ice for their drinks? Are you serious? The rooms were $450 a night (Coachella rates) but you can't provide ICE?! The Vevor icemaker they have looks ancient and the display was glitching out. GET A NEW ONE. From my quick math with Coachella and Stagecoach rates, that place hauled in $60,000 just in April ! Not including mine and others day fees! Fix that overflow drain and fix that ice maker! Buy a new one! So instead of relaxing for three days like I wanted to, I spent most of it dealing with cold pools or too-hot hot pools. We had fun thanks to my speakers and Coachella. But it's like camping there. It isn't a 'resort'. It's a campground. Gotta bring your own ice and your own bathtub plug. I've tried to help and had a way to fix the problem but was met with glares and anger. Go buy a pump! They aren't expensive. This isn't rocket science guys. I'm a former mechanical engineer who thrived in thermodynamics and am a hot springs junkie. I'll go elsewhere where the water is clean and not chlorinated. It's a hot springs after all isn't it? FIX. THAT. OVERFLOW. DRAIN. Then we can talk. And maybe I'll come back and bring my money.
