Tucked away in the serene Little Tuscany neighborhood of Palm Springs, this rare 1937 bungalow was our own private secluded, peaceful, and impossibly charming. The highlight? The stunning outdoor space. Waking up to mountain views and stepping out onto the sun-drenched patio was pure bliss. We spent our mornings lounging by the saltwater lap pool, sipping coffee under the swaying palms. Afternoons were for lazy dips in the spa, and as the sun set, we fired up the natural gas BBQ and enjoyed dinner by candlelight. No music was needed the soft desert breeze and starry night sky created the perfect ambiance. Though we felt a world away, downtown Palm Springs was just minutes from our doorstep. We strolled through charming boutiques, indulged in incredible meals at nearby restaurants, and sipped craft cocktails at intimate bars. It was the best of both worlds total seclusion when we wanted it and easy access to the vibrant energy of the city. What made The Knot even more special was the thoughtful attention to detail. Everything was designed for comfort, relaxation, and romance. And while the neighborhood is wonderfully peaceful, it added to the magical allowing us to fully unwind, recharge, and just enjoy being together. We will be back, we had an out of town friend stop by who fell in love with our place and plans on renting there in the near future rather than their normal hotel. For the price we paid their were lots of broken things that needed attention and fixtures but of course this house was up for sale so that's why they weren't fixing it . Also, the fact that someone comes by just to drop off chocolate really set me uncomfortable because it was random and invasion of privacy so i feel like, if that's their protocol, they should change it . Also i've stayed at air bnb a lot in palm springs and this place was the first place that didn't allow music outside, which was a bummer so maybe that should have been disclosed before i spent all this money to not be entertained. The management company was very responsive when contacted that the front door lock assembly was loose and unable to lock properly. It was a Sunday, and the maintenance person quickly responded and made the repairs. The home was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed and then some. The house was very spacious with all accommodations well provided for. The property was beautiful with a well-groomed yard and pool area. And what a view of the mountains! Also, I liked that we were close to town for shops and dinning. But, our location was very quiet which was important to us. Great service, value and quality. Our visit to Joshua Tree National Park was meant to celebrate a family member's ongoing recovery from a 3 1/2‑year struggle with Long Covid, and then to reconnect with relatives--and a new baby--in Palm Springs. Joshua Tree was wonderful, but I was worried about Palm Springs because the forecast called for temperatures above 95 degrees. One of the strange lingering effects of Long Covid is temperature sensitivity, and extreme heat can be especially challenging for us. I need not have worried. Poolside Vacation Rentals went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They brought us portable fans so we could comfortably enjoy the many shaded outdoor areas, and they provided extra supplies for our large family group. The pool was fantastic, and the private setting with mountain views made it even more enjoyable. The house itself was very comfortable, and the layout--with a separate cabana for the new parents and baby--was perfect. We were also incredibly grateful for their flexibility with a late checkout, which meant we didn't have to find somewhere to wait before our evening flight home. We typically stay in VRBOs when traveling and often enjoy meeting and interacting with the owners. When a rental is managed by a company, it can sometimes feel less personal. That was not the case with Poolside Vacation Rentals. They were pleasant, helpful, and exceptionally quick to respond to any request. read more

The process and communication from start to finish was so easy! Communication was very prompt and thorough! Check in was easy and there were nice water bottles and a welcome snack basket that was so thoughtful! They place was clean and exactly what we expected. It was peaceful and felt like our own resort. It was close enough to downtown that our family members walked and enjoyed Palm Springs while we went golfing. The heated hot tub was perfect after a long day of golf. The house we rented in Palm Springs was perfect for our family of six. Two of the bedrooms had on suite bathrooms and the other two share a bathroom in a separate area of the house. Perfect for families with children. The pool was incredible with a waterfall, spa and baja shelf, perfect for lounging or sunbathing. The staff of Poolside Vacation Rentals were very attentive making sure our stay was enjoyable and provided great communication. The property was close to shopping and a beautiful park with shaded play equipment and walking trail. Great communication from this rental company! We had a little hiccup where the AC wasn't working and it was during a heat wave in Palm Springs. They were very responsive and sent out a AC technicians to repair it the same afternoon. They also sent someone by with some welcome treats and they called us before knocking on the door in order not to disturb. The house was clean upon arrival and their directions were clear. Also liked that someone answered the phone when we called and that we didn't get an answering machine. The home itself was loverly, and with the exception of a few kitchen items that were old and should have been tossed out, the rest of the house was clean and matched up well with the pictures online. read more

We LOVED our stay at Fiesta de Aqua, managed by Poolside Vacation Rentals in Palm Springs!! Everything was perfect!! The management company was accessible, could call them anytime and a person responded. They texted us to let us know we could arrive earlier. They provided free snacks and water day of arrival. Then the next day they brought cupcakes and a pumpkin bar! AMAZING HOSPITALITY!! The house was pristine, super clean inside and out. We arrived to an AC cool house, with soft lights on. We bought a short term rental in Palm Springs over a year ago and signed up with a property management firm that shall remain nameless. Of course it started out good and went downhill from there. Reservations started drying up, they weren't responding to emails, and the owner was a complete diva. Enough of that bad experience. After that experience, I interviewed 5 firms, large and small. I interviewed firms for their experience in marketing, customer service, maintenance ability, rates. At the end of the day, I think all firms are fairly equivalent on marketing as they all use the Airbnb, VRBO and key sites. Some larger firms have partnerships with hotel chains such as the Marriott but you pay for that as well. If you can keep renters in without the extra cost, why wouldn't you? So if all firms are equivalent in marketing, than what differentiates them? Customer service to the owners, responsiveness to owners and guests when there are issues and nice touches. This is where Poolside is different from their competition. They drop off a welcome basket with snacks, put waters in the refrigerator, lift up the shades, turn the outside lights on, and make sure the property looks in tip top shape before the guests arrive. They also will turn on the pool/spa heater to have it warm when the guests arrive (if the owner is ok with it). I've stayed at several Airbnb's and when you get there, you are tired, hungry and wish you had something to snack on or water. Very nice touch! They also touch base with the guest to let them know they are available if anything comes up. Their orientation book is very comprehensive with the happenings in Palm Springs, restaurant recommendations, and instructions on how different things work in the house (pool heater, thermostat, fire pit, etc.). It is very helpful to the guest. Now from an owners perspective. They don't nickel and dime you like other firms. They are transparent about costs, what they can and can't do. They let us know when something is broken or needs to be fixed and if it isn't a big expense, they fix it themselves. They treat your home as if it is their home. They use the LiveRez system for reservations and owners statements so I can access it at anytime. Most importantly, they respond immediately when I call or leave a message. They have been available days, nights and weekends and never seem annoyed when I call. I highly recommend this firm. My contact Nate has been fantastic to work with but I've also interacted with other team members (mostly from larger firms like Vacasa) but want to give the personal touch of a boutique firm. read more

Came here for girls' weekend with a group of six, and all of us just loved the place and couldn't wait to plan another trip here! Their photos didn't do it justice - the decor was lovely and high-end but also fun and unique, the pool, hot tub and all the outdoor furnishings were great, the beds were really comfy, the linens and towels soft and luxurious, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need, and every detail had been thought of.
