I love coming to Bubbly Tub & Tan for a little "me time" oasis. The hot tubs are $50 for the hour and an extra $1 for 2 towels. Call to make an appointment since they do book up quickly. The weekends and evenings are the busiest times but they are open seven days a week and have late night hours. They are open Sunday through Thursday until midnight and until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. Staff here are friendly and the hot tubs are cleaned thoroughly before and after. They have a standup shower to use before and after the hot tub. Bring your own body wash or soap from home if you don't want to use the stuff they supply (I believe it's liquid Dial). There's a Bluetooth speaker in there so you can play your own music playing during your soak. It's a nice way to spend an hour. read more

It's Valentine's Day & my souse and I was running late and I was lecture about how if I came there again I wouldn't have been seen if I was late. Ok cool yall need my business not the other way around! Then they have a worker escort us to the room and she didn't mention to not touch the buttons . Instead they have 10 thousands signs on the door and small print mentioning not to touch the buttons. Then when I called it was nothing they could do about it. Complete waste of money ! The customer service is great here. This is perfect for a little relaxation for a second. Not really secluded, so I went during the day so there wasn't a lot of people there. Imo, the water isn't hot at all, it's warm at most. The cold shower beforehand gives you the illusion that it may be hotter but it's not, it's mostly steam. It's still very good for water work outs or relaxing just to sit down a bit. You have to shower beforehand, be sure to bring your own soap. There is soap there, but it is Dial hand soap. They do provide towels, but you can always bring your own. Parking is in the front and there is usually plenty of it. Make sure to check their website for coupons. read more

Raising the Hot Tub price to $50 was terrible - from $30 to $50 I mean inflation is bad but that is nuts. From going once a week to once a month now - the staff is very good only reason I have not stopped all together. The new tubs are a nice upgrade. read more

The place is very old school looking and they had this bird there which I thought was odd but the hot tub rooms themselves were perfectly fine. The only issues I had with the rooms were that you can hear the people next to you AND the front desk. We also couldnt figure out how to change the tempature of the hot tub so half the time we werent even in it because it was sooo hot!! I would recommend this place if you can find a room that doesnt have other people next door. read more

I love it here! I don't understand the sub-par reviews! I've checked out every hot tub room and tanning bed room, and everything looked clean and exactly as described. Although the decor is a bit dated, its a Margaritaville vibe, and I dig it! I used to tan here probably about 20 years ago, and it's exactly as I remember it! (Aside from upgrades in equipment) Now I'm older and definitely interested in the hot tubs, so I will adjust my review after I experience those. One star off for old tanning beds, they are not in the 2010s or 20s, but they get the job done. Tanning is about the bulbs used and not so much the machines/beds/stand ups; and they are using the same bulbs that are used in my regular salon in 2018 and newer beds/stand ups. read more

Way out of date. I used to go there so often 25+ years ago that I decided to buy my own 8 jet Cal Spa which was the current model back then. Unfortunately the spas at BT&T are the same model that I got rid of over 10 years ago :( BT&T still has those same 8 jet spas! For at least the past 15 years you couldn't buy a new spa with less than dozens of jets! The pre-spa shower ran cold for 5 straight minutes and never even got warm. Of the 8 jets, 6 were low in the seats (no mid back, no neck jets), and of the two foot jets one was missing a nozzle. And the "free bluetooth speaker" was broken. This place needs a serious update. Last year for Valentine's day I took my boyfriend out to Oasis in Ann Arbor. It was amazing. This year he took me to the Bubbly. It was how I imagine going over to your gigolo uncle's house to use his hot tub would feel like. Super tacky with the decorative choices and lots of tanned ladies running around. It was pretty cheap and I didn't feel like I was going to get a disease. The wait staff was nice.You do have to listen to top 40 or whatever the young ladies working are listening to. We brought our own towels but they did have some available. Smoking is allowed as long as you ash in the ashtray. ew. But I love a hot tub. So if you're jonesing for a soak but can't make it to Ann Arbor this place will do. read more

hi I'm a customer, I've been going to you guys for a couple months now. And I've never had any problems with the bed, the people are SOOO friendly; it's an amazing place they clean the beds after each use, such an amazing environment. I was tanning in the Jamaica bed the other day and i heard cracking and popping sounds coming from either the top fan by my head area or one of the lights. As I was lookin at the lights I realized it's probably not the lights it's definitely some wires by the fans in that machine . It's scary. I was in for the full 10 minutes and at 6 minutes left I was ready to get out , that's how scared I was. And my cousin also mentioned this To the boss, who told her she would check it and see if there was anything wrong, that was like 2 weeks or almost a month ago, I went in there 2 days ago and there was still that same sounds coming from the machine. And the boss said she checked it but I don't think she even did . Anyways I hope this is checked out and hopefully something gets done with the machine too. I love this tanning salon and I'd be very sad to leave and find another place, if I fear my life is in danger Like????? read more

This review is not for faint of heart or anyone with a weak stomach. My husband and I were looking for something to do on our "date night". With COVID impacting certain businesses being open, the idea of soaking in a hot tub seemed to be the closest to home, cleanest (we thought) and relaxing option. Boy were we wrong!! We have rented a hot tub room from Bubbly Tub in the past, and I will say the experience was fine. Room appeared clean and private. This time around was the complete opposite. So as we are escorted into the private room, the woman who checked us in said "here's the room, red light will flash when there is x amount of minutes left, please shower before getting in" yada yada! The jets to the tub were already on. After soaking in the hot tub for about 20 minutes the jets were starting to irritate my back and it was itchy so I had my husband turn the jets off. What happened next was by far the most DISGUSTING experience I've ever had. The water was so cloudy you could not see the bottom, the film on the top of of the water had skin particles on top about an inch thick (it looked like fish food floating on the top of the fish tank) and the worst of it all there was male bodily fluid (you know what I'm talking about) that was floating near my husband! We jumped out and I proceeded to get the girl working up front to see for herself. Her answer to me was "Oh, the girl up front is new and probably didn't clean it right"! HOW COMFORTING LADY! Are you serious right now. I had not even mentioned for my money back yet at this point and instantly she says "I can credit your account $10 that's the best I can do for you, I do not have the authority to refund money." First of all, $10 versus $50 rental fee does not even compare. Secondly, you can credit whatever "account" you want I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE TO UTILIZE ANY CREDIT. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE from using there hot tubs. I'm far from naïve and am well aware what those rooms are used for, but there definitely should be cleaning protocol's followed, especially during COVID. Shock the water, skim it, treat it, something!!!! Knowing damn well what a good majority of people do in there. But don't use the excuse the girl up front is new. That is not acceptable. This place fraudulently tells customers that they can't burn from their Mystic Tan, and their rays aren't the type that cause skin cancer, when in reality, they're the EXACT dangerous rays that speed up skin cancer. My poor boyfriend decided to try it out one time, and a mere hour later, he was lobster-red. And because the Mystic Tan tans several (deeper) layers than just the too dermis, after 3+ months of this ONE episode, his skin is still itching and peeling from this. I took him back the same night he tanned, and the females running the counter tried to tell me (a biology major) these lies about their "cancer-free" rays. Instead of telling their customers THE TRUTH about their tanning beds, they're telling them there's no harm in tanning at all-exactly what they're paid to tell their clients, which is medically and scientifically false. They did, after a week or more of arguing with the owner, refund his money, but we had to deal with the owner, his wife, and their employee's rude attitudes to get our $40 returned. I understand tanning is not going to go away, but their foul attitudes should disappear immediately. read more

I used to LOVE tanning here their prices are competitive but my last visit just ruined it for me. The entire place smelled like marijuana when you walked in (which is extremely unprofessional). When I got in my room as I was in the bed someone tried opening my door. As was leaving the door was open as if an attempt to "air out" the smell and the girls were leaving the front desk to go outside and sit in someone's car.
