I have been tanning with CPT for about 7 years now. I started with the 22 mile road location, moved to the Livernois location, and frequent the Mound location as I work out at the gym in the same plaza. Every time I go into the Mound location, I am strictly guided on what to tan in, amount of time, and bombarded with unnecessary questions. Again, I have been tanning for about 7 years and I know what levels I can do, how much time, lotions, etc. etc.. If I want to up my time for the bed by ONE minute, I should be able to do so. I understand if I wanted to make a jump like 5 minutes but ONE?? Not to mention that who I assume is the manager of the Mound location I have seen outside the salon on multiple occasions on her phone and smoking. I feel that doing that is a bad look for the company considering she is on the clock and wearing CPT apparel. I will never go back to this location. It is a shame to have to write this as I love CPT but that location is nothing but problematic. I will be sticking to my Livernois location from now on as they treat me like a human, and not just a person with a dollar sign over my head.

The weekends and evenings are the busiest times but they are open seven days a week and have late night hours. They are open Sunday through Thursday until midnight and until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday. Staff here are friendly and the hot tubs are cleaned thoroughly before and after. They have a standup shower to use before and after the hot tub. Bring your own body wash or soap from home if you don't want to use the stuff they supply (I believe it's liquid Dial). There's a Bluetooth speaker in there so you can play your own music playing during your soak. It's a nice way to spend an hour.

The beds and rooms are very clean, and the lobby and restroom are organized and spotless. I can tell they care a great deal about cleanliness, which is a huge plus in my book. I have form of psoriasis, so I'd rather tan than take medication. Tanning is my personal choice, but always seek professional medical advice from a licensed physician before you tan if you take any medications. Another reason I use indoor tanning is to help with my overall mood making me feel more positive, and I don't have the opportunity to be outdoors in natural sunlight as often as I'd like, so indoor tanning has and will continue to be part of my life. I was looking for a clean, reasonably priced salon, and I found one. I purchased the unlimited monthly package, and you truly receive a generous amount of services for your money. Unlimited tanning in any bed for 30 days and three Versa Spa Pro sunless spray sessions. You can choose from 3 levels of color with the option of clear or tinted solution. You also get the pre-sunless and post-sunless spray treatments included. I know Sun Tan City charges extra for the post-sunless treatment, so that was a plus for me. (The post-sunless treatment makes your spray tan last longer.) I like the option of the Versa sunless spray because it gives an extra boost of color for a special occasion. Again, three are included in the unlimited monthly. Oh, and I almost forgot the best part: you don't have to sign up for a monthly ETF membership. That means you don't have to give them your bank account information to commit to a membership. It's simply pay once for the month and you get unlimited tanning in any bed with all the other bonuses I mentioned above included. Don't forget to use a good indoor tanning lotion, too. Because of this, I needed time between sessions to monitor how my skin reacted to the UV exposure. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that my sessions had a 10-day expiration window ending on April 27. During that time, I experienced significant burning with the level 5 UV, and I had hoped to try the level 6 session I still had remaining to see if it would produce a similar reaction. Given the circumstances, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to use my final session rather than letting it go to waste. I'm hesitant to spend additional money without knowing how my skin will respond, especially since I already purchased this session. And they are the same bulbs. Every time I go in, I know what bulbs they are. So you want customers to pay what you are asking for but you won't give the service. I use room 6 because it is the highest level of tanning that you have and I'm not getting the full results because there are a lot of bulbs burnt out. I purchased the best package and it expires on August 1st and I won't be back. There are plenty of tanning salons out there! Please give your customers what they pay for.
