At first, I was doing treatment with Invisalign. When I came to his office for a consult, he asked tons of questions about my experience despite what my previous Orthodontist was telling him. It was like he was wanting to know what I wanted to do rather than run with what my Orthodontist wanted. After I considered wearing braces and starting over because I was tired of waiting for Invisalign and felt that the progress was moving along too slow, he accepted me. My appointment wasn't until weeks later to make sure that I was sure about my decision and I didn't have to pay anything down until the braces were applied. Ever since the application of my braces, I've been very satisfied. He explains what he doing and gives me an update on how my teeth are moving. Since I chose the ceramic braces, he even gave me the option to come in more frequently to have the rubber bands changed because they stain very easily. I'm very happy with my results so far as it's been about 4 months.

The braces themselves did a great job and my teeth look great now! Everyone is very helpful and great at their jobs. He had to give me the hard news of needing my wisdom teeth removed and also needing to have my cavities filled. He was able to give me a referral to a lovely oral surgeon who took care of my wisdom tooth extraction easily and he took care of all of the cavities. He truly cares about your comfort during the experience as well and uses longer acting topical agents for numbing so your pain doesn't come back as soon as your filling is completed. He explains things well and gives you enough information to make informed decisions. He treats you with a lot of respect as well. The front desk staff is really kind as well and he makes it easy for you to get in for appointments.

They do not usually take insurance but you can get reimbursed by your insurance after. Although this does not work for everyone, I recommend looking into it to see if this is an option because I swear this is the best dentist in MKE!

Because we live downtown, I wanted to find a dentist that was close and convenient. Bingo! Yes the office is located in an old building...part of the charm! One of the many things I love about Milwaukee is that they have kept their architecture and old buildings. I think there is actually a historical society on the first floor. Anyway, while the building is quaint, the office is warm and up to date. Everyone from the front office, to the hygienist, to Dr. Zeeb are very nice and make you feel comfortable. I have to be honest I am that person who has dental anxiety, I do not know why but whenever I go to the dentist I sincerely get palpitations. Everyone in this office makes you feel very at ease. I had a full exam in which unfortunately resulted in the diagnosis that I need to have some cavities filled. However, Dr. Zeeb showed me the x-rays and explained everything thoroughly and showing me the pictures and my options. Betty was my hygienist and she is very gentle and works very quickly! Dawn at the front desk is really good about working with tricky schedules, getting insurance information and reminders. So glad I was able to find a dentist for the whole family in a location convenient to our home. There is a parking garage right next door and Dr. Zeeb's office does validate your parking...yay!

He's gentle, calm, and great takes care of me. Sadly, I've had more than my share of dental dramas and traumas. He's rearranged his schedule on numerous occasions to see me, including today. I'm headed out of town tomorrow and I had already made an appointment for a painful tooth a couple of weeks from now. When it got worse today, I literally jumped off a bus on Water & Wisconsin on my way to work, called the office from the corner, and was in a dentist chair 5 minutes later. He took his time to analyze my problem and come up with the best plan for care given the fact that I have an early flight tomorrow. He's a first rate dentist and a kind human. I had some old issues that I'd neglected to have taken care of and Dr. Allmann did a great job with all of them. Scheduling was super easy and my appointment went very smoothly. Little to no wait time once I got to the office. P.S if you're looking to get a crown done, definitely come here. They do in-house, same day crowns, which I thought was awesome (as opposed to sending out a mold and waiting two weeks for the crown to come back).

I was a patient here for many years, until they stopped accepting my insurance coverage…read more Pros: new offices with all the latest equipment, friendly staff, in-house crown lab (same day crowns - no temporary crowns!). Cons: they don't accept all insurance. And since they have their own lab, they like to wait for little problems to get big enough to justify a crown (rather than manage little problems more conservatively with fillings). They've invested in the lab, so naturally they want to do crowns - sort of a specialty, and the crowns I have gotten from them are very nice - function is great, as well as aesthetics. But my new dentist has pointed out a bunch of little cavities that can be filled right now. This approach should save me money as well as time in the dentist's chair, by postponing (maybe even eliminating) the need for a crown. Bottom line: if they accept your insurance, and you really do need a crown ... go to Tosa Dental; you will be very happy with their work. But if you would rather try to deal with issues earlier when they are smaller, there are other dental practices that do take a more conservative approach.
