I love Buc-ee's but honestly the FL Buc-ee's are still unbearable. Buc-ee's is a 5 star joint in every aspect. From their fuel prices and practically infinite amount of stalls. Their bathrooms are always spotless and you can buy pretty much anything you want, from beef jerky to a BBQ grill. They even have Tesla superchargers now which is how I ended up here most recently. However actually GOING to this Buc-ee's is a 0 star experience. It's what I would imagine Walmart is like on Black Friday. I just came to use the supercharger and went in to use the bathroom. I thought I was fighting my way through a mosh pit to get to the bathrooms and back out. It was exhausting! I love you Buc-ee's but I'm gonna have to pass for now. It looks like a mega truck stop except - trucks are not allowed on the property. * Fudge hand whipped on site daily * Brisket hand cut on site non-stop * A carpal tunnel inducing touch screen food ordering system * Immaculate bathrooms with attendants who practically come in wipe and flush it for you * Gas pumps that wrap around the store * Wall of Jerky * Wall of Beaver Nuggets (the name sounds like they should be turds) * Cracker Barrel style Chinese plastic junk merch. section * The staff passed the CFA Stepford Training course * Just like South of the Border, you start seeing signs 100 miles away from a store The gas prices were good for the area. It's easy off/on 95. The food we got was decent considering it came from a gas station. Overall it's nutritional crap but as road food...meh..ok. I just threw away an opened bag of beaver nugs the other day that made me remember to write this mess. If you want it, chances are Buc-ee's not only carries it but they carry 43 versions of it. We saw tons of billboards on the way down to Florida and my dad had heard of the chain prior to seeing the ads. He suggested we stop there before we reached Orlando and I nearly thought he was joking. (Since he does like to joke around.) But jokes aside, we did stop to use the restrooms and to check it out. It's a large location that offers gas, restrooms, food, souvenirs, and a mix of miscellaneous items. Be prepared for sensory overload when you go for the first time as they have everything: apparel, accessories, camping gear, snacks, hot food, restrooms, and other things under one roof. Prices are fair for most of the items there. It's a good destination if you want to grab gas and a few snacks or food for the trip. Staff was friendly and worked to check people out in a timely manner. Restrooms were large and clean - they had options to sanitize the seats and even hand sanitizer to use when you were touching the doors and handles. Wow! Just WOW! Talk about mind blowing. We passed one of their stores on our last trip, and when we did my exact words were, "what the flip was that?!" "We gotta turn back around and go in there!" So this place has everything. From snacks to restaurant style food to beef jerky to gifts and items you wouldn't normally see at a convenient store. This place is definitely worth the stop and quite the tourist attraction itself! They have everything you might need or want when you stop in from your long or even short trip. I know I've actually been here more than three times but I probably forgot to check in. I had the opportunity to stop through here once again and I planned for it on our trip out of state. We stopped in just after 5:00 in the morning and I was looking for something to have for breakfast. They have a lot of interesting choices and I decided to go with a sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit. I don't know what I was expecting but this was just a fantastic sandwich. It's one of the best biscuits I've had in a long time. It was soft and flaky and did fall apart a bit which you expect from a really good biscuit and I probably should have been eating it at a table somewhere rather than sitting in my car. A few crumbs in my beard I can live with I guess. We also took a few minutes to wander around and see what all they had as it wasn't super busy like every other time I've been here. It was amazing all the different types of beef jerky they had. They will let you sample as many flavors as you'd like. I find this to be a dangerous concept. We picked up some other beef sticks and I got one of their little cups with the jalapeno sausage and cheese in it with pretzels. I've tried a couple of different ones from them to this point and I have liked them all. I kind of wish that I live closer to one as I could enjoy eating on a regular basis in their stores. For a gas station they have the best food around. I will definitely be back whenever I happen to be in the area or if I'm close to one of their other locations that's opening closer to me. Buc-ee's is an experience in and of itself. The location was well staffed and appeared to run like a well oiled machine. There were team members everywhere with smiles and all of them seemed eager to assist you with your needs! I tried the sliced brisket sandwich because I've heard so many people rave over it. It's so odd that I even feel compelled to write a review about a gas station, but the Buc-ee's experience is real. They have an insane amount of gas pumps and prices are always fair. But once you enter their store is where the real magic happens. You are greeted by an army of cashiers and they have a wide selection of snacks, treats, sandwiches, and don't forget the Beaver Nuggets which are highly addicting. Oh yeah, the BATHROOMS! My daughter told me we needed to stop here. It turns out it's right off the exit of our sushi restaurant but it just opened last February. First of all, every gas station should have 100 pumps. Wow, that is amazing! But then you go inside, you are greeted by friendly employees, and you realize you just don't even know where to begin!! Fudge? Beach house decor? Salt Life gear? Brisket? It's all here! We were actually overwhelmed by it all. We never even made it over to the alcohol side of the store. You can buy anything here, including the artwork. What a fun store! I recently visited the Daytona location so I wanted to stop by the St Augustine location on the way back. I've been here a few times as well and just like the other Buc-ee location, it does not disappoint what so ever. Everyone here is really nice and friendly, this location however does have way more souvenirs than the Daytona Beach location. Ok y'all. I can now say I have went to Buc-ee's and had the experience. It really does have the WOW experience. Lots of parking and yes it is also a gas station, with so many gas bays. The inside was MASSIVE. I don't know where to start. Clothing, bags, knick knacks, souvenirs, you name it. You'll definitely find something here for everyone on your gift list. The food area... holy. Again... I don't know where to start. From beef jerky to brisket and tenders, there is something for even the pickiest eaters. There is an order kiosk for deli items and others, and one area already have homemade chips, brisket sandwiches and fresh desserts available for grab and go. Even the beverage area was huge and was self service... 79 cents for an extra large beverage?!?! Heck yes! And I can't leave out the bathroom. HUGE AF. Plenty of stalls. The handy dandy "vacant/not vacant" indicator on the doors is helpful for those who have the runs after eating so much of that good food out there. Plus, there is hand sanitizer within the stall, in case you overly wipe yourself (TMI). Service is very friendly and excellent. When I was checking out with my goodies, scored a bonus of free "beaver nuggets" as a part of their grand opening. I'd come again for the experience. It's pretty cool. For a gas station convenience store, this is paradise. It's the ultimate and as their goal is to be over the top, believe me in that they have achieved that goal tenfold. It's half giant convenience store with the Buc-ees branded snacks, drinks, etc. half deli bakery and half tourist knick knack shop. Yep, this place is 3 halves all crammed into 1 whole. We tried the Apple pie, fudge, and beaver nuggets. All were very good. The iced coffee for $2 was right in line with your typical mass produced coffee shop but at half the cost. WOW!!! I had always heard about Buc-ee's from a YouTube channel, and they used to only be in Texas. To my surprise, they opened up a couple in Florida so I FINALLY had an opportunity to visit on my drive through the state. It was amazing!!! It's like a gas station on steroids. First, the number of gas pumps that they have is unreal. Just keeps going and going. Then, you go inside the store. They have everything!! My family and I stopped at the St Augustine location on the way back to South Carolina from vacationing in Orlando. We saw it on the way down and were determined to check it out for the first time on the way back. First off the location is huge one of the largest convenience stores I've been to. The location was very clean and the brisket and pulled was delicious. The atmosphere was very lively and they even had a fresh bakery. With that being said my family and I grabbed snacks and sandwiches and headed for the counter, a total of 4 kids, and two of them were teenagers so they bought the whole store. I put everything on the counter including my phone. I paid for our food and proceeded to the car. We were using my wife's GPS and music so I never paid attention if my phone was near, when I did look for my phone I figured it fell under the seat and I'd grab it when I stopped. I eventually stopped for gas and realized my phone was missing. I located its last location which was at Buccees, which is now over 3 hours in the opposite direction. I contacted buccees by email and they replied almost immediately! I had the option to pick my phone up within 7 or send a mailing label. I immediately sent a mailing label and in less than a week my phone was on my doorstep. Buccees have saved me time and money. They've also provided a great experience. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and I appreciate their personable quality which translates directly to their employees. Can't wait to come back! read more

Ah Buc-Ee's, how I have missed you. I have been to a number of Buc-Ee's out West in Texas, but now they have arrived here in Florida. Forget Busy Bee... Buc-Ee's is so much better in pretty much every conceivable way, unless you are a truck driver. My only real contention with this one is that the entrance is not all that clear. I found myself getting back onto the Interstate (South-bound) and had to do an eleven mile round trip in order to get back to the store, because it is not clearly marked how to get into the parking lot. Inside the store is set up the same as all the other stores, with the left hand side of the store dedicated to trinkets and clothing, the right hand side for drinks and various food items, and the center for the hot bars and deli counter. I considered getting some jerky (it is really good), but I just wasn't in the mood at the time. However, a bottle of hot sauce and a couple of pulled pork sandwiches was definitely on the menu for me, so I got those. The pork sandwiches are excellent! read more

They are constantly cooking sandwiches for breakfast and lunch so you can often pick up a fresh sandwich for the trip. My sister and I visited Buc-ee's this past weekend. We had never been in one and wanted to see what the hype was all about. When we first entered the store it sounded like there was a party going on. Lots of happy voices and laughing. I overheard one person raving that there was even a drink holder in the shopping cart. That's right, a shopping cart in a convenience store. This place had everything under the sun that anyone could ever want or need. If you were on a trip and forgot something you could stop in here and find it, trust me. Swimsuits, camping gear, pots & pans, baby clothes, etc. They have everything. We had just had lunch so we weren't hungry at all but the smells coming from the BBQ area were unreal. They had jerky, jerky and more jerky to choose from. They even had their own brand of selected meats. Fresh baked good as well. We spent about an hour just looking around and I don't even think we made it through the whole store. We will have to go back and spend more time to see what all they have. When we checked out we asked the cashier if they were always as busy as they were when we were there and he said that it was actually fairly slow that day.
