This is a typical CVS, but it's very large and conveniently located. It's in an intersection in St. Augustine near local motels/bed and breakfasts. If you forget something like shaving cream, it's the spot to go. There is a Walgreens across the street, and they didn't have nearly as many items as this location did. They also have tons of souvenirs in the front of the store, and they are reasonably priced. Other reviews have complaints about the pharmacy section, but I didn't utilize it so I can not say. I have never had an issue with this pharmacy actually, they are all very nice. I went through the drive-thru I have never seen this girl before, after a few times with my name she brought me two meds I only needed the one, I had asked for a plastic bag, it was raining, this is what annoyed me, she said its only one. ( Rx) I said just give it to me without the bag. If a customer asks for a bag you give them a bag. I have never encountered this before. I know it's just a bag but it was just a surprise. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy ever. They're constantly making mistakes on the forms they send to insurance companies so the insurance is denied and then they make you pay out of pocket because they refuse to fix their mistakes even when your insurance company is on speaker phone with them telling them exactly what they did wrong and how to fix it. Had to visit this CVS pharmacy while we were in Saint Augustine. I need some acetaminophen. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted by a CVS employee. I found the store very spacious, and very clean. I located what I needed, and was able to use some CVS rewards that I had. I was in and out in a matter of a few minutes. This is just how a guy likes to shop. I found the parking area very clean and tidy. A stellar location. I do go to Saint Augustine at least once a year, and I am a regular CVS customer. Stopped in to pick up a prescription and a few items on a mid Sunday afternoon. The store was very clean with very few customers in the store. I was not greeted at the door when I walked in, after I roamed the aisles for a few minutes the cashier approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything. He was very polite and directed me to what I needed. To my knowledge he was the only employee there besides the pharmacy. They wait for check out was 5 people deep. This location had a minute clinic the closest one to downtown. I liked how the pharmacy has multiple stations for pick up, drop off and consultation. Worst pharmacy ever. So rude and non professional. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy have to come here. Not only was extreme attitude given to me when picking up my prescriptions. The pharmacist assistant was yelling my medication across the room for everyone to hear. After yelling my information she said I had to talk to my doctor about my prescriptions when it was just an error on her end. No apology given. Had to wait a hour to pick up my routine prescriptions and was then greeted with more rudeness at checkout. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

This location has a minute clinic. Great location on the corner with plenty of parking. The store is bright and clean. There is a check in kiosk at the back of the store for the clinic. Check online before you go to make sure your illness can be treated here. It's basically for minor things. You can also find the cost online if you don't have coverage. I used the minute clinic on a Sunday morning and was the first one there. I was seen as soon as I finished checking in, no waiting for me! You will be required to show picture ID. After my exam I was given a prescription which I had filled at there very quick and friendly pharmacy. Excellent service overall. Do expect to wait long to get seen. I was lucky being the first one there that day. When I was done I saw several people with books waiting to be seen. I estimate a 30 to 40 minute wait for each person in front of you. read more

This is likely the best CVS in the area why you ask? Location Location location ... And they have pretty much what you need when you are living on the beach for 2 weeks . Lets see you got your cold beer I know there is " C" stores but, it seems the the Beer is well colder and not out of date. Think about it if you are the beer guy where would you take out of date beer to sell it? Right any " C" store not a drug store. And they have a great selection of cheap flip flops because, you left your favorite pair at home . Not to mention another pair of cheap sunglasses and of course you have to get those people that have never been to Florida one of those "made in China " I Heart Florida coffee mugs they will love you forever . Don't go there if you need a prescription! My husband got bit by a spider Friday night and had to wait 10 minutes while the pharmacist BS with a customer about his homeland and the phone was ringing off the hook. Worse, I just had hip replacement surgery and called Monday morning to get a status on my medication. I waited 35 mins for someone to answer the phone. Such poor service! Walgreen next door will get future service! read more

Our visit to this minute clinic was a waste of money! After being sick for almost two weeks she refused to prescribe what we needed basically telling us if still sick in a couple days we could go to Urgent Care. Wow! So we can pay $79 for this ineffective visit, miss more work, feel like crap and than pay more money to see another Provider. This is one of the basic customer care problems in Healthcare! read more

Great location if you have a minor medical emergency, if you need to make a quick stop to pick up some supplies late night, or if you're on vacation and need to stock up for the family. This is pretty much like every other CVS you can visit, except this store is open 24 hours, hosts a minute clinic, and is in a great location on the corner of US1 and SR16. I have stopped by more than once to pick up something on my way home from work at 3am and didn't want to deal with the nonsense of Wal-Mart. Friendly associates, and the store is generally well-stocked. They have a great pharmacy (obviously), but also sell most other items you'd expect in a CVS- of course you're going to pay a lot more than shopping at Target or Publix, but you pay for the convenience. I do like their CVS brand of medicines, however, which are way cheaper than the name brands and work just as well. This is a great store, it's clean, well-stocked, and the associates are generally knowledgeable and friendly. I've never used the minute clinic, but it's nice to have one around, especially if you're on vacation in the area. If you need something on the go, this is a great place to pick it up. read more

I am a fan of cvs compared to Walgreens but this location is very bad with customer service and items. They do have one or two stars that work there. Basically they never have any baskets in the front of the store, and if you ask they say look around. Plus the shelves there are always running low. I went in for 5 items; leave with 2 because they were out. This is ALWAYS happening. Eye care, toothbrushes, etc. As for there minute clinic; skip it unless it's a flu shot. The medical staff at the CVS Minute Clinic has always been very good (my husband and I are both in the medical field). I have never had a problem with appt, diagnosis, prescriptions, insurance or billing. This year both my husband and I had to go and had excellent medical care. Got my usual deductible bill and paid for it and they kept sending me bills for the same amount. When I went to call them and got to the billing dept, I would be on hold for over 20 mins each time and then someone would pick up and hang up without talking to me. I dont know what the problem is all of sudden with their billing dept, but be VERY CAREFUL not to keep paying the same bill over and over. Again, medical personnel are great. Billing dept is awful and untrust worthy. I really felt like they were trying to scam us. read more

Went to minute clinic here. The clinic closes at 730, I got there at 600. Two people were to be seen ahead of me and I was told "clinic is at capacity." Mind you this was after 30 minutes of waiting. I called minute clinic they told me you could go to jacksonville 15minutes away. No one is there now. It's not 15 minutes but anyway I did and yeah no one was there because literally the clinic closed. I don't understand how #1 a clinic that is supposedly advertising time saving can only see one patient per 45 minutes. That's not a sustainable business model. The nurse practitioner was rude about it, and subsequently I was pretty frustrated. All I needed was a script for antibiotics she could have checked my mouth in 2 seconds and I would've paid immediately. This is why people go to the emergency room at least you won't be turned away, though the ER costs 1000 but it's okay the state and all the taxpayers will help. Really nice that the clinic had an easy to use machine to sign in (except that the posted closing time was wrong). The process included a wonderful option that you could leave and be called 30 minutes before your appointment. My estimated wait was 2 hours so I went home and kept my cell phone with me at all times. After 2 hours, I called to see if there was a problem. After many attempts, I got a person who told me there were still 4 people on the schedule but he could not tell see names so could not say if I was on the schedule. I was not called and at 3 hours the clinic was closed. I had cancelled my plans for the evening. I think the clinic was so busy with people who waited there that they did not bother calling anyone who left. If you have a serious problem, either wait or go to the ER. A Family Nurse Practitioner saved my vacation! I flew into Town for vacation. Didn't feel well on the way but tickets were paid for. Got into town and felt lousy. I have used Minute Clinic near my home in Michigan, so I came here. The Nurse Practitioner was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me and diagnosed me with strep throat! Got me on meds and I am feeling better. She did in fact save my vacation! read more
