We like Buc-ee's. It's an experience plus it's fun to see all the first timers marvel at all the inventory in the store. I hadn't been to this location before. We usually stop at one closer to Daytona. He was craving some beaver nuggets and also needed to get some for some of his friends. I like their fudge and we did stop to try a taste of one of the new to us varieties. We did care for the white fudge so we passed on that. I did get some warm glazed pecans instead -- and they were wonderful. One of the candy bars that he usually gets here, they didn't have either! It's called "big hunk" so if you see it, let us know. The only thing I can say negatively is that we usually get gas here but stopped at Costco located on the same street -- the gas price there was much cheaper. So if you're a member, get gas there first, then come here for the food, candy, etc., and clean restrooms. read more

We stopped by before heading home after an Iceman game. The parking is great, with lots of availability. After an hour inside we decided on snacks for the car ride back to the gulf coast. I mean, it's Buc-ee's. You should know what to expect when you pull off the exit. Lines. Lots of people. Limited parking. BUT, the food is great. The bathrooms are clean. You'll spend more money than you intended. Chopped brisket sandwich is my favorite, if anyone is passing through and wants to grab me one. There's also a Bass Pro Shops, Costco, and World Golf Village nearby, so this exit is a goldmine of adventures. read more

I have to start by saying I'm not someone who gets the hype around Buc-ee's. But If overstimulation was a physical location it would 100% be a Buc-ee's. I do love the bathrooms for a roadtrip and it do go out of my way tto try to stop there for a break. European style stalls from a company ot of TX is wild but I'm grateful for them. I generally speaking am not a fan of the food so we do not stop there or the other various offerings - I don't get why anyone wants Buc-ee's merch but to each their own. The parking lot os always really aggressive and full os thats not for me either. It is alwys slow to get in and out as well. But a this location on this one visit a woman slipped and fell and hit her head while I was there and the employees all started yelling "FALL' at the top of their lungs until I guess a manager arrived? That feels unnecessary and uncomfortable and honestly if I was the poor person who fell and suddenly had a bunch of strangers yelling round me it wouldn't improve my situation or mood. Other recommendations are there steak seasoning, pickled quail eggs, and beaver nuggets. All of which are wholly unique, and well worth the trip alone. Quick stop for a rest area and a breakfast sandwich . Seems every Buccees is a tourist trap and this one was pretty crowed . The kids have sensory overload and are running amok. They have quality items that are collectibles now. Their prices are low so it's hard not to put the item in your cart. The store is kept very clean and sparkling as well as the restrooms. The food serving areas were very clean also. You could choose from brisket sandwiches, cookies, Danish, nuts, fudge, and more. I was overwhelmed with all the things that I saw but I loved it all! Their employees are friendly and helpful. Andy, a tall redhead, was very helpful in finding things. He even directed us to the red classic truck stuffed with Buc-ees! For those of you who love taking selfies and photos, you will find many photo opportunities here! The only things in your way are lots of shoppers. My daughter and I bought Buc-ee's mugs, stuffed Buc-ee's and tshirts. We couldn't help it. The gas station is huge and we decided to add to our half full tank since we were here. This is the gas station of my dreams. I have watched numerous Youtube videos on Buc-ee's and was in the St Augustine area, so of course I had to stop in. This is a Texas based gas station that has started making it's way over to Florida where Ocala will have one in the next year or so. When pulling into the parking lot - wow there's so many gas pumps. I literally knew it would be an overwhelming experience but I did not realize what I was going to walking into. My first stop was the infamous cleanest bathrooms in America. Oh, they were not joking at all, the bathrooms were clean and there was an employee cleaning up the sinks immediately after washing your hands. Next stop was to browse and grab some of their iconic menu items - such as the brisket sandwich, Beaver nuggets, Beaver tail, samples of fudge and smoked meats, and lastly a Buc-ee's hat! Also, anything you need - I do mean anything from clothes to flavored jerky to a camping tent, they have it. Their brisket was pretty top notch for a gas station but again this is not an ordinary gas station. The Beaver tail reminded me of a larger danish and was very good. The Beaver nuggets are these caramel puffs that are pretty good but slightly too sweet for me. I had some other items on my list to try but they are served at breakfast time, so I'll have to make an early trip there. A downside of Buc-ee's, during the time I was there which was around 6pm - it's so overwhelming and a madhouse. I can't imagine having kids as they would probably get lost running around the store and some people act so stupid when you are entering the parking lot. Finally made it to a Buc-ee's! This one is in St. Augustine and is a bit smaller than the other locations from what I heard. Even if it's "smaller", this was still the biggest gas station I've been to. They had a good amount of gas pumps, which was great for no wait times to fill up our tank. After filling it up we went inside and I'm happy we went to this one because I don't think it was as overwhelming as I was expecting it to be. It was like a mini walmart but way cleaner and the service was extremely friendly. From being greeted at the entrance to the helpful smiles the whole time we were inside, this was an experience. We had to grab the brisket sandwich and, of course, the candied nuts. After walking around, we opted for some memorabilia that is iconic to get. My partner and I both got sweaters, which kept us warm throughout the rare Florida cold fronts we were having. Overall, a great experience! read more

This place is down right magical. I've been to a Buc-ee's before so I knew what to expect. They are peppered around the south. The best part was to show friends that I was traveling with and the Hubs what Buc-ee's is and all the possibilities it brings. I don't want to spoil the experience for you all. All I'm gonna say is the food is delicious. Brisket tacos in the AM or a chopped brisket sandwich is where it's at. Their burritos got two thumbs up from the Hubs. We got the kid a shirt from our trip, an insulated cup for me because you can never have too many souvenir cups in my book, and jerky to bring back home to friends. The snacks are fire, the merch even hotter. The people are just TOO DAMN NICE. Maybe it's because I'm from NY. They were in the process of installing the fresh tortilla station, but it wasn't up and running yet during our visit. Hopefully next time! I grabbed a sliced brisket sandwich, which was flavorful and satisfying, although like most Buc-ee's sandwiches, a bit messy to eat -- especially in the car, since there's no designated seating area. That's one of my only real complaints -- it would be great if they added some kind of eating space. We also picked up some chocolate-covered caramels, which were delicious, and grabbed a soft drink. Buc-ee's always shines when it comes to drink options -- their selection is massive, offering virtually every flavor and type you can imagine. However, we noticed that Coca-Cola products had been replaced by Buc-ee's branded soft drinks on our most recent visit. They're fine, but we missed the name-brand options. Of course, we never leave without using the restrooms -- they're exactly as Buc-ee's claims: immaculately clean. One of their signs cleverly says the restrooms are the "#1 and #2 reasons to stop," and we wouldn't argue with that. We also filled up at the pump, which is super convenient with their large number of gas stations. That said, navigating the gas area can be a little frustrating -- many customers leave their cars at the pumps and head inside, making it hard to find a spot or exit. Some clear signage reminding people not to leave vehicles unattended would really help. All in all, it's still a great stop -- reliable, fun, and full of everything you didn't know you needed. I still recall the first time that I visited this location. It was in 2021 and my neighbor had told me about this place. I decided to visit this location to see what the hype was about. My first reaction to pulling into the parking lot was awesome. I have never seen so many gas pumps in one location. You definitely don't have to wait in line if you gave to get gas. The same goes if you're looking to purchase ice as well. I didn't know was inside. Once I went inside I didn't know where to begin looking at. This place is like a small grocery store and department store in one. I decided to browse their merchandise section first. They have so many Buc-ees branded items to choose from. After that I decided to head over to the sandwich station. I decided to get their brisket sandwich. That sandwich was excellent. To drink I decided to try out their various selections of sodas. There are so many choices to choose from. I just decided to mix two sodas together. To my surprise it was delicious and refreshing as well. Then after that I decided to browse their two walls of various jerky selections. I decided to go with their beef teriyaki jerky. I couldn't wait to get in the car and try it out. I also got chips to go with that excellent brisket sandwich. I was also craving something sweet, so I decided to get that mini brick of chocolate filled with peanut butter. It's definitely a shareable item. My roommate decided to get a brisket sandwich as well. But, instead of chips, he got those habanero cheese puffs. From the moment you walk in, you realize this isn't a quick stop, it's an experience. I planned to grab a snack and go. Instead, I spent nearly two hours wandering around, completely mesmerized. There's a huge assortment of baby clothes that are absolutely adorable, plus an enormous selection of home goods, cookware, travel gear, and gifts you didn't know you needed, but suddenly can't live without. The souvenirs alone will make you stop, laugh, and wonder how you ever lived without a beaver-themed something. And yes, I got my picture taken with Buc-ee himself. You kind of have to. It's part of the ritual. What really struck me wasn't just the size of the place or the enormous selection of things to buy, it was the feeling. There's an energy in that place. Families laughing, people exploring, everyone just a little wide-eyed, like they've peeked under the edge of a circus tent and stepped into something magical. I was told people actually plan vacations with Buc-ee's as a destination. After this visit? I believe it. So is it a gas station? Technically, yes. But it's also part grocery store, part restaurant, part gift shop, part roadside attraction, and somehow, it all comes together like a perfectly run three-ring circus. Come for the gas. Eat a Corned Beef sandwich. Lose track of time completely. Have a blast! If you're looking for a job, the pay is excellent and they have a list of positions with salaries hanging from the ceiling. I've been a regular customer at this Buc-ee's in St. Augustine for about six months, fueling here almost daily and typically spending $150 to $180 on fuel plus snacks. Today, after fueling up, I parked away from everyone else to take a short nap due to fatigue. About two hours later, I was woken up by a manager banging on my window like law enforcement, telling me that "prolonged parking" isn't allowed. What made this frustrating is that RVs and other vehicles are routinely allowed to park overnight, so enforcement feels selective rather than policy-based. I wasn't blocking traffic, causing issues, or bothering anyone -- just resting in a safe, responsible way. As a frequent, high-spending customer, this experience made it clear that loyalty doesn't matter once you stop moving. I don't know why these places are as popular as they are. The only good thing about it was the size and cleanliness of the bathroom. The place is immense but most of the stuff there is junk. The pralines had a horrible texture and the brisket tastes like jerky with barbecue sauce on it. There are much better places to eat just about anywhere.
