We had the "famous" cheese steak burrito (I spit that out with the first bite...it was mealy, and to be honest down right disgusting). Then the hyped brisket sandwich. I ate about half of it but it wasn't even "meh". The "epic" chips...seriously, don't expect anything better than some overcooked kettle chips. I had just filled with Diesel and DEF, I went inside to get a barbecue sandwich. I went back out and moved my vehicle out of the gas lanes and pulled over to where the charging stations are to eat the sandwich inside my vehicle. i was approached by one of Buc-ee's managers "I think She was dressed in black and on a power trip". Told me to move somewhere else, there are 15 or so of these charging pedestals only 3 cars were charging, I think she was on a power trip, no way I was causing a problem. Buc-ee's is starting to rule the Interstate! I wanted to stop at Buc-ee's in Sevierville during a recent road trip to check a Tennessee location off my Buc-ee's visit list. This location was in an area that was busy with other establishments nearby. Usually Buc-ee's sits alone on its own landmass. There's just something about pulling off the Interstate and all you see is the Buc-ee's. The layout at this location seemed a little different, but I was okay with it since I knew exactly what snacks I wanted to get. I got a brisket burrito which was good, but for $8.99, a bit more brisket and less refried beans would've been better. The pecan pralines while good, were not my favorite, the peanut brittle is great! Jerky, and beaver nuggets are always good. If you've been in one Buc-ee's you know what you're walking into. Wall- to-wall food, snacks, tchotchkes. This location wasn't as crowded as others I've been too, which on a Saturday was a pleasant surprise. Go just to see what the hype is about. Try some of the snacks, and don't forget to use the clean bathrooms! As a Texan, it makes me happy to see Buc-ee's doing well in other parts of the country. Very big! No wait for gas. No wait for bathrooms. So many food items and swag to choose from. It was pretty busy around 6pm though and there was a line to check out. The beaver nuggets are basically corn puffs covered in corn syrup so they taste like pancake syrup puffs. Fun to try once but very sweet. They also make their own fudge and have many delicious flavors. They had a buy 4 get 2 free deal. Each fudge square was $3.98. The beaver chips were crispy, thick, and greasy kettle chips. We devoured them but I wish they had come warmer. You get a box for only $1.99. I'd get these again. My favorite item I tried was their fresh roasted candied pecans. These were still warm when I dug into them and so sweet, crispy and nutty. I'd definitely get these again. read more

The place is the Disney World of gas stations . The souvenirs are always changing with the seasons. We had to get the spring time tshirt and the nascar one. This particular one( we call the Dollywood Buc-ee) has added new things and made it more roomy. They now have chicken tenders and fries. They also offer beef brisket that is without bread which is nice for when we try to carbs. There never is a wait in line. * There is a wide variety beef jerky at Buc-ee's in packages. I used to get it all the time, but it's gotten worse on quality. The last several times I purchased it, mouth drooling till I took a bite, then disappointed because it was so tough I couldn't even bite off a piece. So disappointing when the flavor is good, but you can't eat it because you're in fear of pulling teeth out. On the other hand, I have discovered the jerky in the butcher shop is more tender and fresh. But, you still have to eat it right away, or it'll toughen up and be the same way. Also, it's a higher price. Depending on how much you get, which may not be much at all, you may think you're buying a huge Ribeye steak. lol. My favorite flavor is Cherry Maple, but I also like Korean Barbecue, Steakhouse, and Teriyaki. * Buc-ee's has a fried Apple pie that is covered in cinnamon sugar. I used to like it, but I'm not going to get it anymore. It's decreased in size and quality. It used to be fried perfectly. Now, it seems to fried too much, to the point of having a hard, non-tasty crust. * The sub sandwich is delicious! Not only does it taste great, but it brings back memories for me. It's the closest thing to Kmart subs I've ever been able to find. Besides the blue light specials, that's the only reason I ever entered Kmart. Lol. Buc-ee's definitely was "the best lil' outhouse in Tennessee"! We bought a shot glass that says so! But seriously, the bathrooms were immaculate. Very clean, very tidy. 10/10 would recommend. We also got a Philly Cheesesteak Burrito that we split as a late night snack, and I don't know if we just had the munchies or what, but that thing was bussin'! I always look forward to road trips because I know that I can find my friendly buc-ee's on the way! It always feels like a destination rather than just a pit stop. Unfortunately, this one was not up to my full expectations. The customer service gentleman at checkout was extremely rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. I even tried to go out of my way to wish him a great day but it was just a really bad experience. The only other person I interacted with was the people at the beef jerky counter, they were super kind, had a huge smile on their face, and was happy to answer any questions I had and I did not feel like I was a burden. The facilities was clean, everything was well stocked, but customer service is big for me and needs to be consistent in order to get a five-star experience. read more

I am disappointed after reading online that Buc-ees will accommodate food allergies to not have that experience. I went to two Buc-ee's in the last week remaining hopeful that the first one was a fluke. The employee was making pudding cups and I asked if i couls purchase one without the brownie/ cookie bits because I have a gluten sensitivity. She told me "no, buc-ee's has special secret recipes" that she can't. I had read on multiple reviews that there were gluten friendly sandwiches or bread you could request. Yep, I am a fan of Buc-ee's. This location has gas pumps as far as the eye can see. Your typical Buc-ee's with everything under the sun for sale inside and the cleanest restrooms you will find. Our latest discovery is the Brisket Burritos. And of course you can't go to Buc-eel' without grabbing a bag or three of Beaver Nuggets. I had never been to a buc-ee's before and when the opportunity on my road trip came up I said yes here is my chance as they do not have them in Michigan! I was shocked by how clean, nice, organized and efficient it was! From the home goods, buc-ee's merch section the store was beautiful to say the least! The bathrooms so clean you could eat off the floors! Prices I could were reasonable! I got lunch which was a pulled pork sandwich and a small container of chicken salad and a coconut cream pie cup. Everything was delicious! And handy to eat on the go which I learned is the idea with Buc-ee's as the one I stopped at had no tables inside or out to eat at. On my journey I also got a car wash and they had free bug chemical cleaner if you're just stopping through, but they also had a phenomenal car wash, which was the longest by distance I had ever been through and my car looked great after all the bugs on it on my road trip. To say I liked Buc-Ed's was an entertainment as I did end up stopping at another one a couple hours down the road because I knew I was gonna get top quality and a very nice clean bathroom to use on my road trip journey. Another great Buc-ee's experience. This was the largest Buc-ee's when it opened. Huge number of pumps with cheap gas and contactless payment. The store had the usual spotless restroom and all the regular Buc-ee's goodies. I love their beef jerky, fudge, hot sandwiches, and drink selection. Stopped here on the way back home, wow is this store HUGE. Lots of pumps for gas, great discounts if you get a wash with your fill up. Onto the food, I had the brisket sandwich which was very tender with great flavor. The beef sticks they sell were decently priced and tasty. I would get both again. My family always picks buccees for bathrooms and snacks while traveling and have LOVED them for a long time now. But not the case here...For the first time EVER the bathrooms were not clean at this location. Several Staff were just standing around and not helpful to customers. My kids wanted hot chocolate and the machine was "broken" on the right side and the left the lady wasn't sure why was turned off. The manager 'Austin' could not be bothered to help us obtain some of the powder to mix the hot chocolate ourselves. (Even though i was paying full price) Won't be visiting this buccees again. Which is a shame since we travel this area frequently. Just so everyone is aware the gas station across the street had hot chocolate and ALL of the staff was pleasant and helpful! read more

They had everything (homemade)--BBQ, fudge, banana pudding, and jerky. --Banana pudding was really good, though I wish there was more breading. --Buc-ee's Nuggets are a must-try on road trips--sweet, popcorn-like snacks that remind me of kettle corn. --XXL chopped brisket, it was more than enough for me and my friend--we even had leftovers lol. --For dessert, we had a strawberry ice cream cookie sandwich.
