How in the world have I not reviewed Bucees??? I love this place and I have a hard time passing one up. Bathrooms first and foremost are by far the best potty break experience. The drink station is quite extensive and the in-house food options are as good as a dine in restaurant. Brisket tacos, kolaches, sandwiches, Buc-ees chips and chicken salad, baked goods fudge... and on and on. Need a gift or souvenir from your trip? Check their gift and decor. I find the variety and prices to be pretty good for the quality. Do not pass a Buc-ees by if you have the chance to be driving by one, it's a complete experience. read more

We stopped at this Buc-ee's about 1.5 hours after leaving the Buc-ee's store in Katy, TX. Why? Because after eating my beef brisket sandwich from the last store, I still had the great taste of the brisket still on my mind ... plus I had to use the restroom after downing a big cup of soda. So the gas pumps can have over 100 vehicles filling up at the same time here too. And the parking lot is huge. And this place is more geared toward tourists. And there were a lot of people in the meet up area after everyone in their respective groups used the restroom. This place has a large deli area, something I didn't see or notice at the Katy location. I was seriously considering getting a sliced beef brisket sandwich without bbq sauce, but my stomach reminded me that it was full, so no sandwiches for me during this stop. Got more of the honey glazed pecans, though. I'm glad we don't have Buc-ee's in Atlanta, because I'd be going there all the time to get addicted to some other food that they sell. In spite of being extremely busy, this (and the Katy location) store was clean all over, even in the men's restroom. I even saw a couple of employees cleaning up in the self serve beverage bar and the condiment bar while I was there in the general meet up area outside the restrooms hallway. One cannot simply drive by a Buc-ee's and not stop in on a road trip. That's a total sin in Texas! Buc-ee's is one of Texas' best contributions to the world of gas stations. This is not your typical gas station. It's a gas station on steroids! There's are gas pumps as far as the eye can see. Inside is a massive store full of all kinds of goodies. You have the quintessential road trip snacks, but don't sleep on Buc-ee's staple items like the hot and ready bbq sandwiches, fudge, kolaches, pastries, jerky and the ever so popular Beaver Nuggets just to name a few. I always end up buying way more than I need because there's always something new popping up. Let's also not forget the most important thing, the always spotless and clean bathrooms. That alone should make this your one stop shop for road trips. This particular location is my go to when I head to Louisiana. It's your last nice stop before hitting the border. We were originally here just to charge our Tesla, but our family told us we had to go and check out the inside as well. Most advance gas station/ convenient store I've ever seen. They offer brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, which they prepare right in front of guests. To the side the have a full Beef Jerky section. If you like spicy, take the Ghost Peppered over the Hot and Spicy. The Bohemian Garlic was also pretty good. Never been to a Buc-ee's in my life! It is the biggest convenience store/gas station I have ever seen. They have everything known to Mankind. They have fresh food they're making they have a bakery. They have a deli. They have different departments. They have a camping section. They have a home section. They have a clothing section. They have fresh jerky. It's a dream come true. They don't honor their advertise prices they advertise one price, but then they charge you something else and when I brought it to the manager's attention that they weren't honoring their prices, he told me to deal with it. I pointed to the gas price sign is sitting outside with with the price written on it. And told the manager, I want the difference. This was my first time to a Bucees! It's so much fun and endless things to see and explore. We are in Houston on a stop over before we leave for a cruise otherwise I would have purchased many more things! They have clothes, house decor, food, sporting goods and all the snacks you could want! My family and I purchased sandwiches for lunch and they were honestly so good! Such a fun place to visit while in Texas! This is a gigantic gas station with endless rows of gasoline pumps and an associated convenience store the size of a Walmart which sells all sorts of drinks, snacks, foods, and souvenir products. The bathrooms are super clean here, which makes this a great stop to get some gas, use the restroom, and pick up some snacks. The mascot is super cute and his logo is on all of the snacks and t shirts that they sell here. read more

Baytown was the first Buc-ee's location I ever went to (i've now been to 5) and I was in amazement at the sheer size of the place right away. A place with hundreds of gas pumps that looks like truck stop...but doesn't allow trucks. A place that easily has the cleanest bathrooms of anywhere out on the open road. This place has so many food options that are fantastic too. The brisket sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches and burritos are great. They have tons of jerky and fudge varieties, tons of different hot sauces and bbq/smoking sauces and rubs, great sweet n salty cookies and the famous "Beaver Nuggets", and their coffee is excellent. First time at a Buc-ee's. The store inside is amazing. I got a cup of their house blend coffee which was perfect. Very smooth and no need to add creamer or anything else. I also got get cinnamon coated pecans - like you might expect at a fair - and they were delicious as well. They make their own tortillas and fudge and hot food. It costs more than a Buc for most things at Buc-ees, but if you're comfortable shedding a lot of your bucks for some gas station food and drinks (ew), then you have more Buck-ease than I do. This is a huge and adorable Buc-ee's which we've stopped at on many occasions. It's in the middle of all the petrochemical plants, which is kind of a problem but it's good that it's here - and it usually has cheaper gas than most. In fact - Between Beaumont and Houston this is certainly cheaper than most of the gas, and it usually rivals the cheapest gas in Houston itself so that's good. Barbie loves stopping here, and I love Barbie, so it makes sense really. And if they were taken over by a corporate coffee chain, they'd be Starbucees. read more

If Costco doubled as a convenience store and decided to multiply their own gas pumps x100, they'd get Buc'ee's. This Texas sized gas station is kind of the ultimate rest stop; it is legitimately a destination for people on the road and I am truly obsessed with it. Seeing is believing, this place is so massive that it still hits me every time I come here. The gas isn't Costco cheap unfortunately, but I've literally never waited for a pump. There's just so many pumps that people ultimately end up parking their cars at the pump just to step foot in the store. And what a store it is. it almost feels like it has everything. They have numerous food stations with different specialties from kolaches to sandwiches to candy. (Major tip: Get the famous Buc'ee's Beaver Nuggets. TRUST ME.) They've got outdoor equipment, clothes, memorabilia, gifts, crafts, home decor, and something new each time I go. The last time I went, they had a sale on bbq grills. Yes, really. The other thing is the bathrooms (at least the men's) are epic. There are more stalls in here than some football stadiums or airports. It's similar to the gas pump situation, with stalls for days. They're all clean, spacious, and maintained on the spot. I would legitimately go on a road trip just to hit up a Buc'ee's. It is a sight to behold and such a cool place to kill time, while getting just about everything I need before getting back on the road again. read more

Avoid this dump. They are running a scam where they sell you a $16 car wash at the pump even when the car wash isn't open (as was the case with me). Then when you go in and ask for a refund they refuse and would rather lose your business than give you the refund. I spoke to a manager and simply got the runaround. Poor customer service and they're only interested in your money. This is poor business practice and is very clearly a scam. I will not be back. read more

Whoaaaa this place is the bomb dot com. I'm loving it...When traveling into or out of Texas, this is a STOP that we MUST make. This place is a store of sheer happiness. All the Buc-ee's branded swag: all the paraphernalia, all the snacks, all the goodies... just so much for the eyes to see. I always leave here a little lighter in my pockets due to the all the BUC-EE'S SWAG!!! I love seeing the Buc-ee's logo high in the sky. We stopped here for gas, the bathroom, and breakfast. I got a breakfast burrito which was packed full of eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. It was great! Very filling. I couldn't finish it all but still skipped lunch because I was still full at lunchtime. I couldn't leave without getting some beaver nuggets. This time I tried the cinnamon sugar. I have become obsessed with Buc-ee's. It's just a brilliant business idea. Gone are the days of driving through Texas and having to stop at sketch, dirty gas stations to take a leak. Now, you hold it until you reach the magical oasis known as Buc-ee's on your journey. I have been through quite a few locations over the years and checked this one out for the first time on my way to Lake Charles. There are a few things I love about Buc-ee's. 1) Clean bathrooms. Clutch. 2) Great snacks. Buc-ee's makes a lot of it themselves so grab some for the road. 3) Great hot food. We're talking BBQ, jerky, roasted nuts, pastries, desserts, and more. Cheap fountain drinks, delicious meat sandwiches to go, hot candied nuts, fudge, kolaches (meat and fruit) and of course just plain ole bagged chips their kind and the commercial brands are available. Everything that is grab and go is very fresh so no worries that it's been sitting around, it hasn't. Fresh fruit all cut up ready to eat. So many hot sauces and unusual pickle stuffs to choose from I can't name them all. Need a case of spring water and a cooler for your travels??? They have it at reasonable prices and get your ice outside in different sized bags. If you just want to grab your cheese, meat, bread etc for a picnic you can do that also. Need a gift, they have that, need something to entertain the kids in the car during the road trip, they have it, there is not much they don't have. Need to take a potty break?? Clean well maintained bathrooms await you here. Doggie needs a potty break? They have a grassy area around the backside of the building that has plastic for poo pickup and a trash receptacle, but a lot of people in Texas fail to pick up after their pooch which is very naughty. Buc-ee's gas was also very reason at $2.09 for regular. Lots of handicapped parking. Great t-shirts here for gifts and the mascot was walking around during our visit. I can never say enough about this place. I really like it and the best part about it, is everyone is so nice and helpful. I can't wait to get one in Utah. Also it is a big place and there are never any semi trucks here just for small smaller vehicles, so you don't get that nastiness of a truck stop.... Don't get me wrong there are some nice truck stops out there. But when they say the cleanest restrooms ever they mean it. I love the bakery they have it all but the bakery is my kryptonite!!! So many things it can get a bit overwhelming for a first timer. The Buc-ee's in Katy is huge! Upon entering you can't help but jaw drop and have to get your bearings to figure out where to start. The smell of fresh bbq, glazed nuts and baked goods makes the tummy grumble but no worries, everything is grab and go unless you want to take some time chatting with the awesome staff. We got a bit of everything - the sausage wrap, sliced brisket and chopped pork samiches, some fudge, packaged snacks, cookies, spice rubs, a couple kinds of jerkey and a few other things. Not sure what is happening with their sections making. Today we stopped for coffee and some breakfast was surprised to find they had completely destroyed our coffee experience. Instead of many flavored creamer choices there was just many choices of milk, some nasty syrup pumps, and some creamer with MCT. That stuff turns your coffee into an oil slick and can make you sick if you aren't used to it. Has profits gotten so bad they can't afford creamers. Maybe stop expanding at the expense of your customer base. Try getting ahold of someone to complain even on their website. This is not what I expect from BucCees read more

The store is crowded but the restrooms are always very clean, food is hot and fresh & never a long wait to check out. Great place to stop and take a break.
