Buc-ee's continues to be THE place to stop on any road trip, frankly I think it's mandatory! 100 has pumps and a huge car wash at this new one! Same great food inside. If you have never been it's full of unique food and gifts that scream Texas! I say gifts but let's be honest it's all stuff I want in my house! This was my first time at this location. The place was packed but I found parking easily. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store which was nice. The restrooms were incredibly clean and well stocked. No stray paper towels or toilet paper on the floor. Almost every register had an employee there ready to ring out customers and for this reason none of the lines were longer than three people deep. I placed an order for a breakfast croissant sandwich at one of the order station and unfortunately it was made incorrectly. Fortunately I caught it before we pulled off and took it back inside to be remade. While I was waiting on the remake, I eyed the case of fudge which reminded me of the candy store at Astroworld and saw a fly inside the enclosed glass case. So I'm going to Buckys car wash because my kids wanted to go to Buckys they love Buckys hell I love Buckys but this experience today was a complete nightmare!! upon driving into the car wash in the tunnel the car wash stopped completely for several minutes for whatever reason upon stopping the soap stopped pouring when the soap stopped pouring whatever soap that was poured onto the truck drizzled down as we waited several minutes for the car wash to come back on and re-initiate in which I let the car go through completely and I stepped out getting ready to vacuum my truck this is where I realized my truck is still dirty so I drove to the main building and parked. I wanted to talk to Buckys manager so I told her what had happened she then told me to go talk to the car wash manager in which I did and he said well let me check the cameras and see what you're talking about as I'm waiting outside in the hot sun for at least about 10 to 15 minutes as he's looking at the camera footage just before I'm bout to go onto my truck in the AC he comes out and first things he says is I see you only spent nine dollars on your car wash and then continues to say you don't get that much soap with nine dollars I'm sorry there's a little clear soap that sprays onto your car that you can't see but there's nothing we can do about it it only stopped for a few seconds I said it didn't stop for a few seconds it stopped for a few minutes and whatever little soap at nine dollars gets you has slid off my truck when they re-initiated it so my car was not washed appropriately he then says well sir again you only spent nine dollars I then asked him I said so this is how you treat customers who spend? What they don't deserve no soap? and then he says well I'm not saying that I'm just saying there is clear soap that comes on that you can't see and unfortunately because the car wash didn't stop for that long there's nothing we can do about it. I love this place so much. I could honestly spend hours looking through everything they sell. You walk into this gigantic gas station store, and there's a ton of Buc-ee's merchandise and other knick-nacks you can buy. After spending a little bit of time in the store, you immediately understand the charm, and just why this place is so cool. Walk a little farther into the store, and you are in food paradise. There's an area where you can get made to order food, a bakery, pre-packaged deli and cold food, delicious fudge and warm candied nuts, and the best part: the brisket. There's good brisket at this gas station convenience store... Who would've thought?? I love getting their brisket sandwiches. They have chopped brisket or sliced brisket sandwiches and I usually end up getting one of each because I can't decide which one I like more! I also love their freshly made chips, they are ADDICTING. In addition to all of this, walk in even further into the store, and you'll be surrounded by ALL. THE. SNACKS. There's a lot of buc-ee's branded snacks. I've really enjoyed everything I tired. I took a random exit looking for a bathroom. (any port in a storm, right?) After driving through the copy-paste seemingly endless city of Houston. (Seriously, I drive through Atlanta all the time but Houston just kept going and going and going. More towers and towers and towers. Like.. is it big? or just spread out?) The ramp kinda forced us into a roundabout, and then there was what I thought was some kind of truck stop. The "walmart of gas stations" I wound up calling it. Buc-ees! God, I'm glad we stopped here. First of all I spent $55 and I DIDNT buy gas. I bought a cute bowl and a vase and some other stuff. They have a store cracker barrel style to.. draw in people like me. I nearly bought a copper pot but on the bottom it said made in Stone Mountain. I can probably find it here then. So this place is crazy. Its part grocery store, part junk store, it has a brisket counter in the middle?? About 3 miles of soda dispensers, ice cream, a huge row of fridges with alcohol, I think? probably 1/4 mile of gas pumps on high well lit canopies, friendly people, very odd birds that I've never seen before that landed on my truck as soon as I got out.. and most importantly, the absolute nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in a commercial or government facility. I'm not kidding! I walked into this like cathedral ceilinged bathroom with little red and green lights above each stall and a sprawling sink area in the middle. If a stall is in use its red, otherwise its green. It was super clean, VERY private, and so worth the stop. If you need a bathroom break, or.. ya know.. want to get 150 sodas mixed together, a banana pudding, a salad, some beef brisket, and a plate to eat it on while filling up with gas.. stop here. Not only are they stocked with their usual offerings of goodies, treats and eats but they also have a huge car wash and over 100 gas pumps! Crazy awesome!! There is literally something for everyone! From warm and cold food, icy drinks, road snacks, the cleanest pottys and how can anyone forget... the best jerky of all the land! Lol! Spicy, salty, sweet, their jerky can't be beat! I'm also one to always grab a new Buc-ee shirt. It's hard not to with all their current, bright and attractive Ts. By the way I've attached a photo of the most recent addition to my collection! The very definition of the perfect rest stop destination! This place is GIANT. This place has A Costco sized area for filling up gas, with plenty of stalls for avoiding lines while on a road trip. A large area for car washes is also just besides the gas station area. Not to mention a small H-E-B sized store with PLENTY of clean restroom stalls each perfectly designed for privacy and for claustrophobic people. Each bathroom stall was the size of regular handicap sized restrooms. There were two changing table stations for the littles and the store with its options and availability will leave you speechless! Super cheap fountain drink areas with the x-large drinks being about $.79! They have a selection of dip n dots, a huge selection of variety of jerkies, an impressive selection of fudge, and many hot coffee machines. Unfortunately I couldn't find any iced or blended coffee options which surprised me given the many ways they went above and beyond to supersede everyone's expectations. They had a selection of many snack options for those on a road trip as well a hot meat station for briskets and sausages among other meat options. They of course also had a huge selection of refrigerated drinks from sodas to iced coffees and milk even. The most empty part of this giant gas station store, was their merchandise section with a variety of branded options like shirts, caps, toys etc. On the way out was a sign that made me love them even more. They had posted their employment terms stating that their minimum wages range from $15-$21 per hour with 3 weeks of paid time off per year that roll over. While thankfully I'm in a position to never having to work there, I do always strive to support businesses that employ good work ethics and support their employees. This is just an extra incentive to stop here and to promote their business to my fellow yelpers. As a frequent traveler, I only wish that every stop could be as exciting as this one! read more

There cokes to homemade sweet tea. Hot coffee and you can make your own cold brew. Every flavor of creamer, sugar and sugar free. It's always clean too! Since the day they opened in 2017 .... I have gone to this location almost daily for drinks or cookies or ice cream ... after dinner. Drop about $1,000 on gifts during the holidays. However, this location has more than its share of those individuals who refuse to abide by the law and wear masks. I asked the manager Sam .... why this law isn't enforced. And he said they could not. I then asked if I could shoplift without any problems and he said no. Double standards enforcing the laws of this state. I now frequent the store maybe twice per month... And the last time I was there... Over three weeks ago... Five of the employees including the manager (not Sam but one of the female managers) was wearing their masks as a chin guard. When I inquired why they were not enforcing the state mandate of wearing masks over the nose and mouth... The female manager tried to argue with me that they couldn't enforce it... To which I replied what about your own employees? A group of 20 obviously drunk teens making a spectacle and mess in the store .... none wearing masks .... not a problem either evidently. So .... if you desire to be breathed on by selfish Texans in a retail location that chooses its financial well being over the health and well being of a loyal customer (who used to infuse approximately $5,000 a year into its coffers) .... who pick and choose which laws to enforce .... then this place is for you. read more

I moved down to Texas recently and I'm already in love for Buc-ee's. From their bathrooms, to their rows up rows of gas stations, to all the food and snacks and merch they sell, this your one-stop shop. My 2 only complaints are: the Rice Krispies are really expensive and there's no window washers at the gas pumps. Driving through the open roads of Texas will leave quite a few bug guys in your window. read more

I came in there around 2:30 am and tried to buy cigarettes. I told the heavy set cashier what cigarettes I wanted and she proceeded to ask my age I presented my ID to her she refused to even look down at it until I answered my age I told her I don't have to answer that and she refused to sell me the cigarettes I complain to the manager and the manager said she did the right thing.
