got a crab boil here and i throughout enjoyed the sides, the broccoli was super overcooked and i'd recommend adding it a bit later in the process next time but i enjoyed the variety of sweet potato, potato, squash and other sides. the crab itself was quite dry though, but the seasoning on the outside do everything was great. my main gripe was the butter was horrible, it tasted like fake cheese and geniunely killed the experience. i had to go make my own butter at home. not sure what they're using for it but overall just tasted like fake seed oil butter, and for a seafood restaurant charging you $30 for a cluster i at least want some real butter. i also got a drink which i enjoyed but it was super sweet, and i got a red velvet cake which texturally and flavor wise was good, rich sweet and plenty of cream cheese. service was fine, everyone was nice and the food was ready at a good time. ambiance in here was a seafood counter vibe, i enjoyed it. overall happy there's a place like this in NJ but execution could definitely be better. read more

Re visited this restaurant and it was a waste . The clams were overcooked and tough and they are very heavy on the seasoning to were the food tasted salty. The workers also had a nasty attitude when I told them the clams were tough and did not Try to solve the issue .The parking is also horrible . Just take the drive to go to el puerto seafood Harlem ! read more

Found this place on Tik tok and i was starving. I was thinking this is nothing crazy just a good plate of food. When I got there I saw a lot of people coming in and out so that was the first indicator that it was good food coming my way. The lady at the cash register was real nice and friendly , gave me recommendations on what to get, what sauces and etc. I ended up getting a platter with crab legs , shrimp, rice and steamed vegetables. All of this was absolutely delicious. It came out to $31 and it was worth every single penny. The quality + quantity + price = perfection and that is all we as eaters ask for. It seems like this place is already popular so I'm gonna hop on the hype train and spread the word . Definitely coming back. read more

Foods good. Overpriced for sure due to having to set up your order for a plate combo at individual prices. Therefore the serving is dependent on how much you will budget. Service was okay. I called a pickup order on 2/23 around 9:30pm. I was told that my order would be ready in about 20 min, my son went to pick it up on time to only be told that the food is not ready. The girl in front had him waiting for exactly 22 min until another female employee asked what is he waiting for. That 2nd female EE then tried discreetly to let the 1st girl know that the food was already sitting there. So my $65 order was sitting there the whole time, and lied about it when my son called them out on it by saying "no, it just came out". The food was cold, the lobster mac n cheese was horrible, the cheese and all items was cold and hard. The fried fish and shrimps were soggy from sitting in containers that were already hot, now cold!!!! As a first time customer, this will be my last time. This was unacceptable! read more

First time visiting this seafood spot . I honestly will only order steam seafood next time. I don't usually eat fry food , so for me it was definitely oily. Very small location and extremely busy . Was craving seafood and I'm glad I came across this spot in Paterson. It was recommended by Yelp in my collections tab and boy am I happy I found this place. I created my platter starting with 3 fried shrimp, 1 fried lobster tail, corn on a cob and rice and veggies. I never tried fried lobster before but I did ask the gentlemen on the phone if it was worth trying and he said it's very good fried so I trusted his word and I'm glad I did, I literally devoured the lobster and shrimp. I ordered takeout and when I arrived to the place and drove back home which is about 10-15 min away the plate was still extremely hot . The portion size for rice and veggies can feed easily two people. I was disappointed because I wanted clams but they didn't have any so hopefully next time I order they will have some! OMG where do I begin .... Mother's Day was approaching and my baby wanted seafood on the water so I was going to head all the way over to City Island in the Bronx. Mother Nature has different plans and it decided to rain so those plans got cancelled. I felt bad and started looking for local seafood spots on Yelp when I stumbled upon this amazing gem in Paterson. When you walk in the seafood is laid out fresh in ice. You choose what you want then tell them if you want it steamed or fried and just take a short walk, grab a shake across the street at banana king or just stand there and watch protection being cooked. The two guys working there were amazing and fast. They cooked everything perfectly and even gave me xtra Cajun when I asked him for it. The rice and vegetables will literally feed two people which truly shocked me for the price. The corn made my mouth water all the way home and my mouth is watering as I write this lol If you are from the area or passing by you have to stop by for their food! I order three platters with snow crab legs scallops shrimp rice corn and mixed vegetable PLUS an order of extra hot wings thinking they would be in those styrofoam containers but boy was I shocked when I got 3 full silver trays and only paid like 60 something plus I tipped because it's well deserved. I love whole in the wall spots. Sometimes they are the best places to eat. So we opted to try out a few things since the place recieved such reviews. We ordered fried and steamed food. They appear to season everything with the same old bay looking seasoning. So why did the food lack flavor? No real melted butter to add. Fried shrimp overdone!!! This is the spot if you have a taste for some seafood and want a lot of food for your money. You select what type of seafood you want (fish, salmon, shrimp, crab, etc.), how you want it (steamed or fried). You can also have it served with yellow rice and your choice of vegetables. The guy puts everything to be steamed in the tin platter, adds butter and seasonings and then steams it. It's ready relatively quickly and always hits the spots.
