This place is absolutely gorgeous! It has amazing views of the ocean and the perfect sunset! The food and drinks were also wonderful! And honestly, anything you ordered will be good! We also tried a lot of their drinks and they were tasty as well! The staff were attentive and very helpful.

We came back here after two years break on Cozumel. It's as lovely as i remembered. We made reservation for 6:30 pm on a Thursday night, and when we walked onto the terrace, the lady told us our table is the most inside one beside the wall, and i saw one open table beside the railing, so i asked. Eventually we got that table. The view is gorgeous and food is amazing as usual.

We have eaten here several Times and this year decided to celebrate our anniversary. I have to say the food is Amazing, the venue is gorgeous and that in itself Makes it all worthwhile! Service was so so,but I will always go back.. it is not that they are not friendly they just aren't as attentive or warm ( almost feels As if it is rehearsed And almost missed the sunset trying to get their attention to get our bill , etc ) but other than that, this is definitely a must when coming to Cozumel!!! If you want to see a sunset, and have some amazing food, this is the place to go!

Wow... What can I say other than amazing. What an incredible venue, menu, and experience. This is an owner ran restaurant and the passion speaks through the food. 10/10, if you come to cozumel and don't try Buccanos then you haven't experienced the island. We ordered the lobster tostada and the calamari and WOW!! Everything here will challenge your priory pallet and open your mind to new levels of flavor and texture. I ordered the Coffee Catch of They Day and I can happily say it was the best Mahi-Mahi dish I have ever consumed in my entire life.

Remarkable, romantic and elegant restaurant experience. We sat inside as a family of 3 with our sweet little 8 month old. The staff was so accommodating and got us a great little booster chair for her to sit in. The menu was phenomenal which made it very difficult to order! I had the special which was a Mahi mahi - one of my all time favorite meals ever! Hubs had the seafood skewer and loved every single bite. We each had a couple cocktails but my favorite (must try) was the toasted coconut martini and espresso martini post dinner. Come here if you're on the island. It's 1000% worth every penny (or peso). Oh and a little pro tip -- make reservations to sit outside on the balcony and watch the sunset!

This place was absolutely excellent. The weight staff was attentive. The odd thing was that there was no particular person that seemed to be assigned to the table but everyone pitch in to help the lobster Caesar salad was top-notch and I really enjoyed the steak and potatoes after visiting here with my family my birthday I recommended it to everyone I came in contact with at the resort and beyond. Will definitely try again!

Sunset view from the outdoor seating. AMAZING

The atmosphere...the service...the food...the value always the best. Not to mention the amazing sunset from the outside seating.

We visited here last night for a special dinner to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The restaurant is out of town and home to a beautiful beachside view. We watched the sunset during our meal. We started with toasted coconut martinis that were delicious. We had the special 3 shot appetizer which had octopus, shrimp, and lobster grilled and each in a different sauce. I'm a huge octopus fan and it was perfectly grilled and in a smoky sauce. All three were delicious. For dinner I had the catch of the day which was mahi-mahi and it was seared in an achiote season and atop a tasty heap of smashed Parmesan potatoes. It was accompanied by a tasty salsa of pecans and jicama, with a fresh chimichurri. My husband had the pasta special. Homemade squid ink black fettuccine with a garlic lemon sauce and filled with seafood. It has octopus, shrimp, fresh fish, and mussels. Both entrees were delicious. The ambiance is romantic and the view is top notch.

5 stars for food, service, and ambiance. Reservations highly recommended if sitting outside. Beautiful view of the sunset and cruise ship lights twinkling after dark. Only docking 1 star because it's rainy season and while sitting outside... we had to cut our experience short because of the crazy mosquitos! Apparently there is an abandoned building beside that is a breeding ground for standing water and mosquitos. As soon as the sun set... it was game over, we were eaten alive. So sad because we were really enjoying the meal, service, and romantic atmosphere! Maybe they can fumigate or put citronella candles outside to minimize this? Regardless, we will be back - but during the dry season instead!

Cucumber and mint lemonade and sirloin and bacon burger. Delicious!!

This was an easy 5-star rating for me. This restaurant could easily compete with the best restaurants in Boston. I wanted to try one of the nicest restaurants on the island of Cozumel, and it didn't disappoint! I was first impressed by the ambiance and physical building. It is very nicely cared for, meticulously clean, and the design is fresh and beautiful. Someone clearly put a lot of money and care into this building! They have an indoor and outdoor seating area, with a beautiful open kitchen. The staff is incredibly professional and well dressed. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and polite. They also seem to all be bilingual, which is helpful for a gringo like me. Now to the food: It was seriously all so good, such high quality, and clearly so well planned. You can tell that the chef has a lot of experience, and is given much of the control in planning the menu. There is a lot of pride in the food, even the drinks and dessert are creative, fresh and delicious! The house bread alone is worth going to this restaurant for. Even if I had that and nothing else it would have been a good meal. Bravo to this entire establishment; will absolutely be back!

Lobster pops, octopus, sushi, lychee martini, and cranberry martini.

Cranberry martini, never had before and it was delicious. Reminded me of cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving m, but kicked up a notch. Would order again! Also Margarita Alegre was also tasty! Lobster pops-definitely order. Sushi-although good, would pass to get something more unique on the menu. Main special-hazelnut crusted catch of the day with mandarin chimichurri, should have opted for the lobster with miso sauce. Parfait of key lime pie was just ok as I have a favorite key lime pie at a steakhouse in NYC. But still enjoyable. (January 7, 2022)

Look for the large torch and the knockout setting by the Gulf of Mexico, facing from the island back toward mainland Mexico. This place is definitely a romantic setting. Get here early enough to catch the sunset. This was a fantastic find, on a recent trip to celebrate my birthday, just prior to New Years in Mexico City. After a day of incredible diving in the crystal clear waters around Cozumel, you can settle in here to eat the cousins of the kaleidoscope of sea creatures and plants that you just saw underwater that afternoon. Anything with lobster was amazing. The seafood was all VERY fresh. One of the owners is from Spain, so Spanish seafood paella is particularly good. The setting could just not be more serene or beautiful. There's a large terrace facing the water, and the interior is a gorgeous mix of old and new. The service here was the best of Mexican hospitality. For a very touristy island, the staff was remarkably friendly and willing to talk at length. It genuinely felt like a local family (although one with an amazing large ocean terrace) had invited us to their home to eat. It's easy to find, just take an Uber or a taxi. If you're feeling adventurous you can bike there too. Mosquitoes are a small problem, as in many places in Cozumel. The property was bug spray off to the side of the building where you can freely apply.

What a fantastic place for a nice dinner with family. It would also be a romantic place for a couple. The view of the ocean is stunning and if you're there at the right time, the sunset is unforgettable. The food was fantastic. We started with the Toga Sushi Roll- my husband couldn't believe how good it was. My grandmother and aunt ordered the butter cheese lobster ravioli- rich and creamy! My mother ordered the chicken risotto- after trying a bite of everyone's plate, she thought hers was the best and loved the color presentation. My husband ordered the lobster nachos that looked like a party on a plate with the yellow plantain chips, green avocado, black beans, white lobster and cheese, and salsa. I had the catch of the day, Maui Maui, with coconut risotto. It was sweet and pleasant flavors.

The Food The food holds its own, even if the setting gets most of the attention. By Cozumel standards, it's some of the better food we had on the island. The menu leans creative but still approachable. We tried a bit of everything. The Mexican dumplings were fine. Not bad, not memorable. The trio of guacamoles was a hit, especially the one with fruit and bacon, which sounds questionable but works really well. The queso was exactly what you expect. Good, comforting, not trying to reinvent anything. The standout surprise was the tortillas. Freshly made and easily one of the best parts of the meal. They elevated everything they touched. The meat tacos were also very solid, well-seasoned and satisfying. Dessert was the house specialty, a cornbread-based dish with ice cream and toppings.
