This is an easy walk from the downtown Cruise port. The beers are ice cold, and the corn tortillas are flaky and freshly made. Our favorite are the fish tacos, so flavorful and delicious. We stopped here for their famous margaritas on a night out in Cozumel. There are endless options of flavors and the margaritas are enormous! Service was a bit slow but very friendly. The restaurant itself was a bit loud but a casual, fun atmosphere. It was a bit more touristy and not very authentic - but a fun spot for a night out for sure! read more

We stopped over to Wet Windy's to wet our whistles. On our first visit, we met the new owner, and it was a pleasure to talk with her. Happy hour was on, so we had a few. Great Margaritas!! We came here in a whim. It was pretty slow service. We ordered 2 pepitos and a side of fries. The fries were regular however you can't really mess with frozen fries. The pepitos which were basically tortas de asada and they were not good. The steak was literally stone, and incredibly hard to chew through. I would not recommend- flavor was mediocre. They did comp us 50% off the food which was kind as they did see all the meat placed to the side of the plate. read more

We had such an amazing time here and not only because the margaritas are fantastic. I had a margarita on the rocks and it was superb. Another in my group had the choc.and peanut butter and said it tasted great. The food was very good also, I got the tacos, which come in 3's so I decided to mix and match. They were so amazing. The fried fish taco was my fave because they were basic and oh so fresh. But what was really amazing. Was the staff. Service was amazing and it was the same servers that you see in the photos on yelp frpm a year ago or more that continue to work there. We had a returning guest in our group and they remembered him name and all. From a year ago! Thats pretty amazing. I think anyone would enjoy themselves here, so check it out! I arrived in Cozumel to meet my bro's from Belgium. After getting out of the airport, which took some time in itself, bureaucrats are not only a Rick and Morty fiction, I headed for the ferry, which was only leaving at 4 (and I arrived in Cozumel center at 2). When you have time to wait, Yelp is your best friend, so I looked for a high rated place where I could enjoy a drink in that heat and was recommended this place. I didn't think much of it and headed there. The Batman recommended a beer, that I enjoyed, and I ate some chicken fajitas, which were the bets I ever had in my life (not very difficult). But they were really good, like, the onions were caramélisés. Excellent stuff. And the chicken very soft. We came here for a quick drink and nachos. It was really good! We got there around 3/4ish so no one was out. Our server, Andres, was very nice and really took care of us! He gave us some "Mexican AC" (a fan-haha) and was very attentitive. Our drinks were really good. I got a basic Margarita. I also ordered Arrachera nachos which were fantastic!! SO much cheese! My boyfriends mom got potato skins which I thought were going to be good because they weren't burnt to a crisp like they are in the states, but they tasted like dog food. Another visit to Wet Wendy's. I believe this is our 3rd. Always a treat to get to visit here. Some great margaritas with crazy ingredients that turn out great. This time I got a local favorite, the cucumber jalapeño. Talk about a real treat. He pulls out fresh cucumbers and jalapeño. He smashes them up and adds the juices and liquors. There is a ton of work that goes into all of these drinks. No slushy machines here. You could tastes the cucumber up front and a little jalapeño. Then the spicy hits your lips. It was perfect. We were on an NCL cruise at the start of September out of Miami. Needless to say, we were heading out in the middle of two hurricanes. The only place we ended up going after the hurricane started was Cozumel. After the stress of our family being in the middle of Irma and having no way to get home, I really needed a frozen cocktail. We found a great one as Wet Wendy's. The young waiter was great, friendly and so helpful. I wanted something with chocolate and banana so I asked if they did a dirty banana. He told me 'here it is called a Dirty Gorilla!' It was gigantic! And so so good. Oddly after being on a cruise ship we were hungry. We ordered Nachos with chicken, a burrito and some carne asada tacos. Our waiter warned us not to do it but we did! Everything was great! We sat in this quaint little courtyard with an eclectic choice of music and drank our Gorilla and ate and ate and ate!! We were full and relaxed and we had so much fun. I am sure you can tell from our photos. When the bill came it was so reasonable, even with the giant drink! We never met Wendy although after 20 or so ounces of my cocktail, I swore I saw her!! read more

This was the most fun bar that we went to during our recent vacation to Cozumel! On the first night that we stopped by (Friday night), there was a live band playing which were really good. The staff was very friendly and fun... especially when I told them that it was my husband's birthday the next day. The entire bar sang "happy birthday" to him which was not expected! We ordered the peanut butter slushy drinks (see pic) without realizing how HUGE they really were until we finished them... but vacation calories don't count... am I right? lol ;) We stopped by again on our last vacation night (Sunday) in Cozumel. There was a live band playing again and they were fun! I'm not sure if they were the same as the ones from Friday. We had a great time here! :D read more

03/16/19. Server-Samantha "Sam". Band just too loud for the small dining area. Instruments OK but female soloist needed mic turned down. Way over-sang her accompaniment. Waited nearly 10 minutes for cocktails with the restaurant 1/4 full but they were worth it. Biodegradable straws and containers. Yeah! Here's where the night fell apart!!! While ordering my chicken burrito, Sam asked if I wanted cheese or sour cream on it. I said "No. I can't have cheese or dairy cause I'm lactose intolerant". That should have ended the evening on a fairly good note. She spoke perfect English. Received my entree. Bit into the burrito and after the 3rd or 4th bite (and swallow) there was a string substance. Crap! It was cheese of some type. I stopped! Called Sam over. My companions were almost finished by the time she got there and I explained that I was to have no cheese. Again. It was going to be a long night! She offered to make me another but by this time it was too late. I was holding up dinner. They finally wound up making another and putting it into a container for me to take back to my hotel. OK. A few items. How is that Sam didn't catch the cheese comment unless she doesn't know the menu well enough to advise her table guests? Why is it they simply made me another without any compensation on the ticket? I guess they got what they really wanted. My money. BTW. I was up a half dozen times during the night visiting the bathroom. read more

The vibe is good, the drinks were okay, and the blackened chicken burrito wasn't my favorite and I ended up eating my husband's Cuban sandwich because the burrito did not taste good to me. My husband also complained about the lacknof good flavor. He had to doctor it up with salsas to make it taste better. After a long day on the island of riding bikes and snorkeling all over, my girlfriend and I were exhausted and starving. We went on yelp and found out we were right around the corner from here, so we stopped in for some food. From the second we were greeted by our very friendly server who was out front playing cornhole lol. (wish we would have got her name as she was excellent!) We felt very welcomed. The service was fast, and food and drinks were excellent!! I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and fries because it had been far too long since I had one (sorry to be a typical american tourist) For a drink I ordered The Elvis. It was so hot out that this really hit the spot and it was very unique and delicious... now I am craving one!! If I ever return to Cozumel, Wet Wendy's will be my first stop. I wish I would have had more time to spend here and try out some more of thier food and drinks. As it was, we needed to get back to the ship in two hours and my friend really wanted to see the "welcome back" party so that cut into our time even more. However, the bartender was great about making sure I got the bacon and shrimp tacos quickly and the ginger and basil margarita she whipped up for me was just what I wanted on that hot day. Since the margaritas are the size of your head, my friend and I both enjoyed the one and shared the tacos (3 to an order). She said the beans were the best she had ever had and I thought the guacamole was great along with the tacos.
