He three stars are for 5 star service and one star food. Honestly, our server was amazing, prompt courteous, and took care of us. She was great. As for the food, all of us ordered the lasagna. The portion was ennormous. The sauce on Top was good, but the pieces were rock hard, and nearly impossible to cut. The inside was dry, as in lacking any moisture. Too many layers, the ricotta was pressed thin, and dry. One corner of a piece served someone hard a corner that looked old and dried out Tomato sauce. I never had a bad meal at the Warehouse the place that was once housed in the building. But this was awful food. Never again. read more

The space inside is really cool and fun. We had a reservation for party of six celebrating my son's birthday. We were seated promptly and the staff were all kind and attentive. The food was good but some of the pasta was overcooked. The short rib was fine but the sauce was kind of cool by the time it came out. The risotto was fine and tasted good. The Brussels were deep fried and just okay. We had a cake for my son and our server, I believe his name was Brandon brought out a giant sparkling torch candle. It was a fun touch and we all got a kick out of it. It's noisy inside but we didn't mind since we were joyous and not super quiet. The decor is nice. We took a few pics after dinner when the dining room cleared out. Brandon was again attentive and came to help us take a group picture. Marion is about 45 mins from home but it was a good experience and we would go again! read more

If zero stars was an option that is what this would be. Girlfriend and I went there on Saturday evening, place was just a bit over half full and we were seated. Sat there for at least 20 minutes and were never attended to, even after trying to make our presence known. Other people sitting near us noticed this as well. After finishing our waters we got up to go as we were hungry. The hostess asked if there was a problem... Yes, no service is a problem! She did offer to comp a meal which I declined since I'll never go there again. read more

This place is super cool. Service was great. I had the short rib over orzo and it was delicious. The rib was melt in your mouth and full of flavor. It was enough food for two meals. After eating we went next door and listened to some music. Great patio with a very cool vibe. I highly recommend this. I didn't get pictures of the food but included one of the patio. read more

Ambiance was 6/10 music was way to loud hard to talk without yelling, but very nice dining area. Service was fine no complaints 8/10. Food well that was the problem ordered calamari it was small and fried to a crisp, had 2 tours of Italy Alfredo was good chicken Parma's was average at best and the lasagna was just layers of noodles and sauce the meat must of jumped off the plate. Had short beef ribs over tortellini that was a decent dish and 2 cheese pizza that look like they got from the freezer section at the grocery store. The high was the bruschetta it was really good ordered 2 at $12 a piece you got 4 small pieces in each one. The whole meal came to about $185.00 with tip total rating 4/10. read more

I went to Brunch today with 14 ladies and we had the most amazing time ever!! I could recommend this place a million times over. Each one of us had no idea what to expect and we were pleasantly impressed! We all felt like we were 22 again while dancing, singing, and laughing ourselves silly. I barely have a voice, my body hurts from shaking it and my ears are ringing but it was by far one of the most fun days all of us have had in a long time! Go support this amazing place. The service was top notch. I don't know how they did it weaving in and out all these crazy middle aged woman but they did it with grace! We even overheard two of the servers telling each other how lucky they were to work there! They said, "can you believe this is where we get to work!" If that doesn't speak volumes I don't know what would! Oh! And the food was good too. 10/10 all around!! read more

This was an average Italian restaurant. The spaghetti with a meatball was good but the ravioli was very dry and a bit too salty. Ordered a negroni and it was met with some confusion to make sure they had all the ingredients to make it. It was made but ultimately tasted a bit off. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and our server was outstanding. If we were to find ourselves in Marion again I doubt we'd go back. read more

We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night and a few very large parties had come in before us and held up the kitchen for awhile. Our server, (Lakyn?) was incredible while we waited. She was so kind and brought out a plate of fruit for our kids that she had cut up herself into pieces suitable for our 2 year old without us even mentioning it. Truly meant so much to me and was so kind I wanted to come here and mention it. She also went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. The place itself was very cute and well decorated with comfortable seating and the food was pretty good. I had the short rib and may not order it again but it was still very good. We were in Marion for a wedding and the venue we were at is directly attached to Bucci's. My daughter heard about the restaurant and how the head chef was highly rated, so we decided to give it a go. Glad we did. It's located in the old Marion train station, and has kept the old school theme in the decor. So cool. But the highlight for me was the lasagna. Oh my! The pasta was so perfect! The cheese was proportional to what I personally expect, and the waitress was prepared to grind a mountain of additional Parmesan cheese as needed. You could taste that this was not some run-of-the-mill lasagna, the flavor was too fresh and original. don't go to Bucci when they are having a show I waited 2 hours ( including the show) without any service for food management blames lack of servers but I think they shouldn't cut their staff so low that when 1 person (or maybe a couple more) doesn't show. the whole thing falls apart read more

Two of us went on a Friday evening and it was about a 20 minute wait. Our waiter saw us quickly and was able to answer our questions about the menu. Please be warned nothing is vegan. He ordered the marinara spaghetti and it did not list cheese so we assumed vegan, but when it was served there was cheese added. The table bread also contained dairy products so he also could not eat this. It is also not gluten free although that is not surprising. I had the vodka sauce penne and felt it tasted good. A bit more kick than I would've liked, but over good. The bread was a hard crusty type and was also good with the provided herb butter. Overall it would've been very nice if only they didn't use dairy so much. The building is in an old warehouse and has very interesting decore. I believe yhere was another restaurant there called The Warehouse so at least it is still in use. It is right by the train, but you don't hear it inside. More than enough parking. read more

My risotto with my short ribs was like sticky rice. My brussel sprouts were cooked to a crisp. Just basically an empty shell. Lasagna wasn't any different than when I could make it home. The food is slightly better than a fast casual restaurant. It's definitely not authentic Italian. I order arancini for an appetizer. It tasted like it was made 3 days ago. My penne with sausage was terrible. They added 5 tiny sliced pizza sausage pieces to the pasta. The penne was dry and bland. The salted caramel cheesecake was old and tasteless. Decided to take a trip up from Columbus to try this place. I guess you can't go wrong with a place named Bucci's. We went up for the Lunch Buffet. Must say, it was really, really good. Everything tasted homemade: from the soup and salad to the pizza and pasta. The service as top notch to boot. We will be back. It wasn't on the lunch menu, but heck, gotta try the calamari, right? A few of my friends had dinner here a week ago and we were all very dissatisfied. The service wasn't that great! The food was pretty overpriced considering what you got. All of the pastas were served without any meat, that was a up charge starting a $6.00 if I remember right. If you wanted a salad then that started out at $6.00. Service all the way around was good and very friendly. From the host to the server! Chicken needs tenderized and pounded. In both dishes it was dry and tough. One small chicken breast in each. Potatoes are good and crunchy. Chicken parm has light sauce, light cheese, tough and small. Alfredo lacks flavor and noodles a little over cooked. Tiramisu is giant puff of something. It was ok for a couple bites then I was done. I'm not a fan of the very bright, cold, white lights at the tables. Replace with more cozy and warm edison bulbs. Some table clothes and change in lighting will go a long way in this place for a cozy unique place to dine. read more

I went to Bucci's fully expecting to give it a 5 star review. I was greatly disappointed. The food was just ok. I have eaten at dozens of Italian restaurants across this country. I had a great grandma who claimed to have Italian heritage but that is debatable. Italian food is some of my favorite. I couldn't wait to try this out. My immediate disappointment came when they did not have the Italian Wedding Soup that was listed in the menu. They did have a mushroom bisque that was delicious. That's where it ended for me. I ordered chicken Marsala. Everywhere I have ever gotten chicken Marsala, it has come with a beautiful sauce served over some type of pasta. This had very little to no sauce and was served over cold mashed potatoes. The potatoes far outnumbered the amount of chicken. The proportions were definitely off. We had a difficult time getting the server back to the table so I ended up just eating the cold mashed potatoes instead of being able to send them back to get warm ones. Our drinks were not refilled. We only received 1 piece of thin bread per person. We were never offered more bread to go with our meals. We arrived at the restaurant at 4:30pm, well before the dinner rush, but seemed to be ignored. I don't know if I will go back. The restaurant had the ambiance of an Italian restaurant but it did not have the customer service I associate with a great Italian restaurant. The worst part is that we were sitting right in front of the host stand. The manager/host could see all of this but did nothing to remedy the situation. read more

While the food is really good, it's a bit pricey for what you get. We ordered bruschetta to start our meal. It was a bit different from what I'm used to but it was very good and I'd order it again. I ordered the chicken parmigiana W/fettuccini alfredo. The chicken good but I'd like to have had more red sauce. We really wanted to love Bucci's Scratch Kitchen. have visited twice in the past few months. Its located in an old historic location which we love. The quality of the food offerings is quite good, many gluten free options and fabulous flavors. however, service has been slow and some items not as warm as they should be. my biggest complaint is the noise level though. . A busy Saturday night is already a noisy environment and all the hard surfaces don't help. but what really impacts is the volume of the music added on top. we like a more quiet setting where we can talk at dinner. that is not doable in my experience. may try another evening besides Saturday but traveling from 20 miles away, we'll see if that works for us or not. read more

First time at Bucci's and first things first as a appetizer we got the Fried Parmesan Mozzarella with marinara it was outstanding. I had Spaghetti and a half pound meatball it was very tasty and was a good size portion. My wife had Chicken Alfredo and she said it was delicious. My friend and I arrived just after the evening opening. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated right away being one of only a few customers in the entire restaurant. I ordered Chicken Picatta which is not a difficult meal. It came with broccoli which was brown on the florette ends and way oversalted with no butter. The Angel Hair pasta had been doused with too much lemon juice and lots of salt and few (maybe 3) capers. The chicken was thin, of course, but over cooked and impossible to slice into. For the first time in my life I told the waitress and hostess to take the food away and I wasn't interested in trying a second serving that they did offer. Figuring the dessert couldn't be bad, I tried the tiramisu which was tasteless and dry. I did eat it. Bucci's comped my meal and gave me a 10% discount on the rest (drink and dessert). I tipped the waitress 25% of the meal since none of this was her fault and decided I would just keep my mouth shut. However, it turns out my experience was not a fluke and I've been hearing stories about Bucci's since my visit. The Ambiance was lovely as the place is the same as when it was the Warehouse and the wait staff were just fine and I'm sure very capable. I won't be returning. read more
