Came here for dinner with a group of friends so I had the chance to try a few menu items. We started with drinks and a friend recommended the pina colada. It was very refreshing and well balanced. We got the mozzarella sticks and the bread with ricotta whip. Unfortunately they ran out of their focaccia bread, so they gave us a sesame bread, which was alright. The mozzarella sticks were very good with a great crisp, and I liked the cheese they used. We got 3 pizzas to share, a pepperoni, arrabiatta, and the potato pie. The potato pie was my favorite. It had blue and golden potatoes and the onion and bacon rounded out the flavor well. The pepperoni was solid and the arrabiatta was the groups overall favorite. We asked for a ranch for each person, not realizing they came in larger portions in bowls, so we were very happy as a ranch loving table, but something to keep in mind. One ranch portion can definitely be shared between two people. An overall nice spot to come for a casual dinner with friends and/or family. read more

We actually were trying to hit up another pizza joint nearby but it ended up being closed, which was a blessing in disguise because Buck's Place is a diamond in the rough! Small parking lot available around back! Large outdoor patio, separate bar area, and expansive dining room provide you with many an option for small to large groups! The interior has local hangout/dive bar written all over it, but in a casual, welcoming vibe. We had bar service since the dining room wasn't open quite yet when we arrived! The bartender was confident, efficient, and welcoming, even with a large crowd of people! The food far exceeded our expectations! The mozzarella sticks are truly a STAR...perfectly crunchy with a tender, "ideal for the cheese pull" center! We had the Vodka Sauce pizza, which was truly delicious...taking the normal red sauce pizza up a notch with the twist! You cannot skip the side of ranch...which rivals even the best Midwest recipe I could remember! Just dropped in here for the first time recently, and really enjoyed it! Started with a great chopped Italian salad. Their focaccia, I believe is made in house, was also great. We shared a sausage pizza, and added some mushrooms to it, and it was also quite good. Great place to drop in, either for the patio, the bar, or the restaurant. Driving by it, this restaurant/bar intrigued us. We were visiting family and came here for a late lunch. The restaurant dining room was closed until dinner, but the bar and outdoor seating area were available. We sat outside and waited for someone to take our order. I eventually went in, and the bartender said we needed to order at the bar and they would bring us our meals. No big deal. The food was great! The mozzarella sticks were homemade and unlike any I've ever had. They were crunchy, gooey, and hot! Everything else was delicious. This place is super family & dog friendly. Monica waiter was very sweet and helpful in helping us pick what we wanted to eat. We had the calamari and it was abig portion. In town house and pet sitting. Met friends for dinner and pizza last night and walked down arriving early. We were seated outdoors and our friend arrived shortly with their pet. Our server greeting us for water and when our entire party joined she took our drink orders and let us catch up and review the menu options. My wife and I had a locally brewed Kolsch. A martini and IPA selected by the rest of the table. Our orders placed a short time later (green salad + burrata pie) and (house salad+ white sauce mushroom pie) Pizzas were delicious and left over boxes provided at the conclusion of our meal. First visit, a beautiful spring day, dappled sunlight on the patio and nice white tables and chairs, along with some picnic benches to choose for seating. We were greeted promptly and were told to choose anywhere to sit. The solo server arrived and took our drink order and although they didn't have Bloody Mary fixings, she did offer a drink menu for an alternative cocktail. Our food arrived quickly, the chicken Caesar salad is not the traditional one, it is a giant chicken cutlet with romaine and a bit of mixed green lettuce in a delicious, (delicious!) creamy Italian dressing. 10/10 for sure. The pepperoni pizza was huge. The server Emma was as attentive as possible as she had several other tables plus a large party indoors. She offered a second round of drinks, to-go box for the pizza ( and brought containers for our extra sauces) and lastly an ice cream dessert, soft serve vanilla, either sundae style or a tiramisu inspired confectiion again, that was delicious! We came here for the mozzarella sticks and it didn't disappoint 5/5. The thick pizza was light airy fluffy on the side and crispy on the outsides, especially the corner pieces. The thin pizza was a real game changer. I really enjoyed it and it was a highlight of the meal. We got pepperoni. The spaghetti was just ok; I wouldn't get it again. And the chicken parm was pretty decent. Finally came here for the first time last night and I'm so glad! I love the decorations and the ambiance, it's very american traditional/ semi western. We LOVE Buck's Place!! Sadly, they are closed on my usual days off- but any time I get a chance we pop in. After a couple long days, the deep dish pan supreme was exactly what I needed. We always over order because the leftovers on this one keep and reheat really well. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, they've put a pool table in the bar/lounge area (bonus!! We'll be back!!), and the main dining room has abundant seating and is super family friendly. Service staff is sweet and helpful. The bar is great! Mixologist level cocktails. The pizza's are extremely good and the dough/crust is among the best in N CA. The seasonal salads are also excellent. Where it all falls apart is the wine list. Mediocre is the best level of wine. I am really baffled with what some people think Yelp reviews are supposed to be about. Some must think it's to ramble on about how a place doesn't have a phone number or blather on about how a place may have a limited menu on a Sunday. I'm not sure if their motivation is to just be a troll or they're just an old timer who gets mad that they can't get their way every waking minute. I just don't know. This review is for them not having a phone number. We have eaten their food twice and it has been really good. Once we dined in, the other we ordered from them and picked it up. Now they have completely removed their phone number from their website and any kind of web look-up. Seems a little hostile that they do not wish to speak to you. We were going to order takeout anyway through their website, but it was malfunctioning so it would not bring up any other pages other than the home page. Was this by design? Who knows.
