Love OSPH! Casey has a great rotating tap selection, along with wine, soda, non-alcoholic options. The place is comfortable and inviting, with various seating options - bar, couches, tables. There's a patio out front to enjoy nice days, and a pool table in the back. OSPH also has the nicest/cleanest ladies room I've ever used in a bar. Saturday, November 13th around 5pm Party of 6 people My group wanted to do one last stop before heading home. Someone yelped and picked this place. It wasn't very busy, so we quickly ordered a round of four beers (two of us didn't drink) and grabbed a seat at one of their lounge-y couches and tables. I'm not a big beer drinker, but the bartender heard me say I like belgian whites, so he suggested the North Coast Pranqster: Belgian Blonde, 7.6 ABV. (The menu says $8, but then $7 in pink, so I'm not sure how much this was.) The beer was nice and I enjoyed our time here. Very laid back vibe. Altogether, our bill was $31 for the 4 drinks including tip, so not a bad place to throw back a couple of beers and catch up with some friends. read more

Local watering hole....Yep! Even during this not so fun Pandemic Olde Sonoma Public House has been open for those needing a delicious beer. While some may prefer to call this a dive bar, I honestly can't pin that name on it, I prefer it more of a staple for Boyes Hot Springs! I have been in too many times to count and honestly while sometimes were not as great as others, that is fine as I was just grabbing beers with friends and family. Olde always offers a wide selection of beers, so do not expect to show up and only see local offerings, they offer beer from all over the world with plenty of flight options and great prices! Best part is pairing your pub experience with some local authentic Mexican food next door to be honest, perfect combination! Olde Sonoma, loved it! They don't have a formal bar in aspect to mixed drinks like cocktails etc. However if beer and cider are your thing than definitely worth coming here. I was suggested the Jeremiah Tie which is a delicious mix of a few ciders has a sour apple vibe to it, crispy if that explains it? The bar tender was friendly and the ambiance laid back and fun. I hate to leave poor reviews!!!. BUT here we are.. to start, being a craft beer junkie I LOVE the draft list with very fair pricing including HH 4-6pm daily!! AND, I'm completely good with dive bar status, as such.. I'm used to 'East Coast' and other servíce standards, but being refused a Flight and Insisting full pour ONLY with terse expletive isn't warranted. We did get our flight and experienced completely epic service from maybe the owner and others accommodating us.. one pool table, coin-fed and popcorn on the house.. The husband and I got to experience this place from a Groupon purchase. We came in on a sunny Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. There wasn't a lot of customers but those who were there seemed like regulars. They had 32 different beers on tap. Our Groupon allowed us to sample six four ounces. They give you a little piece of paper to write down which ones you would like to taste and as you write the guy behind the counter begins to fill each little glass. We really enjoyed this place because of the laid back atmosphere. The bartender didn't bother us or push us to purchase a beer. There is old school rock playing in the background. A little game room behind the wall that housed a pool table, darts and pin ball. read more

This place has an odd selection of beers, why have I not heard of some of these! Service is clicky, meaning they won't really ask you what you'd like, you have to wait till they have your undivided attention. Multitasking may be an issue for the beertenders here. I find that in taprooms, service can sometimes be spotty when the beertenders don't have more serving experience and personality. But the ambiance is like a cool tavern, an escape from all the tasting rooms and wineries all around the town of Sonoma. Overall, nice venue, decent service and new beers to add to my repertoire. 4/5 read more

Where my Nantucket Handshake virginity was taken... Going to basically a beer ONLY place means I'll just sit there and be sober, but thanks to the lovely bartender I was able to partake with the homies. A Nantucket Handshake - Pino Grig topped with Apple Cider! It was refreshing and delicious! Top that off with ordering and delivery of Mexican food from next door and I was a happy gal! Beer connoisseur I am not, but I can safely say this is an amazing, random spot for those of you, especially snobby, beer drinkers - this place has something like 32 beers on tap, a plethora in bottles, and tons of beer paraphernalia. Came here a few weeks back. I was excited by the rave reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. I was excited to see their list of craft beers on tap, but out of all of them, none really stood out. We did 2 tasters of 6 different beers, and nothing was really that great. I didn't even end up ordering a pint. They also have about 5 or more beers that are not craft beers. It was a warm day, so we sat on their "patio" which was dirty, filled with ash trays, and a bunch of smokers. The bartender wasn't very knowledgeable about the beers on tap or all that friendly. I guess if you like dive bars this is your place, but I won't be back, and I know the other 7 people in my group felt the same way. read more

What a gem. Grate selection of beer. Sparkling wine selection is quite good. Pool table. Darts. Pinball. So many fun things to do. Definitely a local hang out, so the people watching can be quite fun. The new management has made some great changes. The ladies room alone is amazing. Probably the nicest one in Sonoma. Bartenders are friendly and quite the characters. They have great beer knowledge. One of the few places that still has a happy hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm EVERYDAY. Loved to find this place. We stumbled upon this place when a person we were considered sharing a living situation with suggested we meet him here. Was pleasantly surprised. The person behind the bar was very helpful and even admitted that none of the current selections fit what type of beer I was looking for. I wanted something super hoppy but not too bitter, though not sweet either. They had just run out of Lagunitas IPA the day or so before, and I wasn't in the mood for a Racer 5. She had me try several to get me interested in something else that they did have. Worked great! Found another beer I was in the mood for, a nice unfiltered wheat. We were there in an early afternoon on a week day and even then it was decently stocked with people. There was still ample bar and table seating though. Once our meeting was done we moved to the bar from a table and grabbed another pint. Great craic! So many fun people to chat with. We noted how they let you bring in food from the place next door, or really from anywhere since they don't have a kitchen and they want you to stay and drink more beer! Cool! We were instant fans of this place! If we're in the area again, we're so stopping at this place for a pint. Love the awesome selection. If anything, I've been to other places with just as awesome of a selection, however these places are all spread out and few and far in between. I am so stoked to find another! This place is great. I am in town for work and the first thing I look for is a good craft beer spot. They have an excellent tap selection here as well as some great local bottles. Us east-coasters always have a soft spot for Pliny, the first IPA you had to try! They have a fridge stocked and you can drink on premise or take out. Prices are good 500ml IPA bottle on premise was $7.00. I was happy. The only thing that may be disappointing for some is that there is no food served here, however there is a nice Mexican spot next door that will not only let you pick up and bring their food, but tell them you are next door and they will deliver it to you. The bartender and customers were friendly and provided me some information about Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma which I will be visiting. Didn't spend too much time here as I am super busy, but since I'm here for a month, I know I will return. Awesome craft beer bar and would compete in any city. Dropping down a star because I drank three beers and they charged me for four then questioned me when I asked about it. Skip this joint and head to Santa Rosa. read more

The owners clearly have honorary Ph.D's in brewcraft, as the beer selections are second to none. Yes they have the big names, but look for the one-offs and the seasonal offerings- you won't be disappointed! I love and support all the brewpubs here in Sonoma Valley... However, no one, until now has ventured to this side of town... Set right in the South end of Boyes Springs in the Fiesta Plaza Shopping Center is "Olde Sonoma Public House"! Now, if you've been there, you have probably seen me there, because I very much enjoy the atmosphere... Not only are the employees friendly, the clientele is energetic and having a good time... With 32 beers on tap, surely there is something you like being served... If you haven't tried any of the beers (which I doubt) you can have a sampler of 6 or just taste one or two to help you decide... The great thing is, they are always changing the beers around, so every time you go, there is probably something new you haven't tried, or even ever heard of... Coley is so knowledgeable when it comes to beer; he is a mixologist of sorts... Tell 'em what you want and he will concoct something from 2 or more beers - Sounds weird, but awesome! They also have a very wide range of pricing for their beers, anywhere from $2 - $10 for a pint... (Something good will fit your budget) There is so much to do here also.. They have 2 dartboards, a pool table (FREE), jukebox, and FREE wi-fi... What more could you ask for... :) lets get some tourney's going! Light food is served, like hot dogs and popcorn... Five stars for this lovable, cozy dive bar. It's beer only but they always have the best beer selection in Sonoma. 30 beers on tap, excellent local stuff, imports, hard-to-finds. Plus a generous selection of bottled and canned beer. Every bartender on the staff is friendly & hilarious. Great people working there, nice regulars. Free popcorn. Good stuff. With 32 beers on tap (always from my favorite west coast and international breweries), there's almost no reason to make use of the well- chosen wine list. This is a pub so there's no hard liquor served, which means that the local, friendly hangout-and-have-a-chat vibe lingers well into the night. This is a good place to bring your friends or a date after going to see a movie. If you tire of the pool table, there's always some darts or pin ball to occupy your time until the game comes on. Every Thursday there's live music ranging from indie/bluegrass to hard rock: whatever the lical music scene has to offer. This pub has a coffee house atmosphere and great staff. The local ownership should be proud of their well-nourished establishment. And prices are great for any budget, with such a wide selection of brews. read more

This isn't a bar, it's a taproom and it's very good. Went here on a slow Tuesday afternoon, didn't expect to see it is a strip mall but was pleasantly suprised by the outcome. I came here for a good craft beer selection and this definitely blew away my expectations. Most places with this many taps you might expect the whole line from breweries, 3 or 4 taps from a handful of breweries, so you are still limited to only a few choices but this wasn't the case. Coley has great selection, over 20 different breweries easily are represented on his 32 taps and it's not just the standard stuff, a lot of it is stuff that is only available at the brewery or beers you haven't heard of. Great selections of big IPA's, which is what we came for. Stayed here for about an hour and a half with my girlfriend, Coley was awesome and gave us tasters of about 5 or 6 beers, enjoyed a few pints and some nachos from next door, seriously can't wait to go back. Also this place isn't for the casual drinker of bud and coors, you won't see it in the building (Thank God!). read more

David was our bartender & was very helpful in suggesting some beers from the 40+ to choose from. While they do not serve food, there's a taco shop next door & you can bring it in. Came here with a friend. Nice place...bartender was singing in the karaoke...which kinda sucked when we were waiting for beers...but he sang Billy Joel...and was great. It was nice to see him having some fun and he still managed to take care of us within good time. Locals bar....didn't feel like an outsider. Not where I would want a nice divey kinda bar......in a shopping center. But whatever, it happens to be here. Worth a shot...lots of beers on tap and they know a lot about what they stock. read more

Locally known as "The Pub" Olde Sonoma Public House is unlike any other, it's better! With thirty two ((cold)) beers on tap, local wines and bottled beers to enjoy on site or to go, Coley and Jo Thinnes have created an incredibly friendly, comfortable and welcoming place for locals and visitors alike to share great beer and make new friends. Olde Sonoma also has on hand four large televisions, multiple dart boards, a pool table, a pin ball machine,table games, free popcorn, and a very entertaining crew! It's not uncommon to see local patrons sharing their musical or culinary talent with everyone. Potluck feasts during sporting events turns this Pub into your living room away from home. This place is great. I was here a couple of nights ago to meet some friends. Their beer variety is amazing and the energy is chill and fun. The Mexican restaurant next door will deliver to you if you're hungry. I've also had Mary's across the street deliver food to the outdoor patio. Dogs are welcome in the patio area which is great for all of you pet parents. The patio is smoke friendly which is a rarity but if smoke bothers you there is still plenty of space inside to sit and not be around it. I'm not a Beer Connoisseur. I don't care what the alcohol content is and I don't think that PBR is beneath me. Even not being very knowledgeable about Beer, I've never once been intimidated. The very first time I came in, I told them that I wanted something "that drinks like a Coors Light" and they didn't treat me like I was a bother, stupid or as if they were offended. They have also made some great suggestions and let me try little sips to see if I like something. I'm proud to say that they have helped me over the months to expand my beer horizons.
