I'm not even a big tuna lover but do NOT skip the tuna dip with crème fraiche. It had delicately sliced cucumbers and onions on it, my personal fav veggies to pair with my occasional tuna sandwich. Delicious! My partner got the patatas bravas with his salmon. So crispy and garlicky! And, the kitchen (plus our amazing server Gustavo!!) was kind enough to make a custom pesto cavatelli for me because I didn't want the cavatelli with morel mushrooms! I will be thinking about the texture of this pasta + the pistachio pesto for a long time. They kept the corn pudding of the original dish at the bottom and it was such a good combination of flavors. I got chicken added on top. I got an espresso martini with gin; pretty good, just wished there was a bit more espresso flavor. Probably would order one of their house cocktails instead next time. Lastly we had the stone fruit cobbler with ice cream and a pine nut/pistachio brittle. Unlike any other cobbler I've ever had. Perfection of different textures. Also, we had the duck fat fries on another day; they were delightfully crispy and lightly seasoned with garlic. The ranch it came with was so yummy and definitely dill-forward. Just finished a 4 course dinner. It was mostly delicious successes and just one failure. The burrata salad was fresh, flavorful. The cheese portion was kind'a skimpy. The Parker house rolls looked a lot more impressive than they tasted. Over salted on top. Airy texture inside but weirdly chewy in a Wonder bread goopy way. Not a pleasing mouth feel. After just 15 minutes on our table they were stale. Bambie ordered salmon. Nice hunk, probably 7 ounces. Pink and fleshy. Moist. Gently cooked. Sides were garden fresh vegetables. I ate the 1/2 chicken. Airline cut. It was a little pullet, maybe 6 ounces. Cooked well. The spicy red sauce that was under the bird was outstanding. I'd be perfectly happy to have a plate of spaghetti with this sauce. The crunchy fingerling potatoes were fun at first, but as the meal went on I couldn't finish them. They were too oily and too salty. Dessert was the recommended cheesecake. Righteous. The exterior of the big slice had a mild Crème brûlée texture and the cake itself was a heavenly cloud. The poached strawberries were the perfect accompaniment. So, is this a 5 star meal & experience? No. i put it in the casual sort'a fine dining box. Last night I ate at The Girl and the Fig on the Sonoma town square. That meal was much more delicious for significantly less money. Tourists who are overly impressed with Michael Mina will be happy here. Locals like me who grew up eating at Sondra Bernstein's several restaurants over the years will be even happier. read more

My parents were visiting and I wanted to treat them somewhere nice and so glad this is where we landed. Note there menu changes so check the website for the most up to date offerings. Everything is so good you won't be disappointed. Interior is amazing and feels like a modern farmhouse kitchen, rustic and modern at the same time. Liberty Farms Duck Wings: A must order, this is one of the finest ducks I have ever eaten with special call out to whatever they did to render out the fat from underneath the skin and get the skin so heavenly crispy and crunchy. Stone Fruit Panzanella: Classic Tuscan salad. Arugala, pears, cucumbers, mozarella, etc. So refreshing and clean, we ordered another one after easily finishing the first order. 16oz Ribeye Wagyu: IMHO way too decadent and savory for a single person, we ordered this one dish and split it so everybody get 2 pieces, made it taste so much better than with meat overload. Octopus: Chickpea conserva, saffron broth, with salsa. So tender and delicious, everyone enjoyed a slice of this though my oldest enjoyed it the most. The staff (especially bartenders) were all super nice... they were busy, but still took the time to check in and chit chat. Definitely adds to the great overall vibe. Wine is wine so nothing to add there, but the pizza was really good. The dough was a little too thick for me and was a little chewy, but the sauce and toppings were delish. Dessert was very good... we completely devoured that. This is at a hotel and parking could be a little challenging - we were staying at the hotel so I am not sure if they offer valet for dinner. Drinks were delicious - Here Comes the Sun and the Amalfi Spritz both delicious. For apps the Parker Rolls were decent and the Duck Wings were nicely cooked (the glaze was a bit too sweet for me but overall liked at the table). The Lobster Pot Pie was delicious- packs a lot of flavor and lobster bits in a small pot and the Morel Agnolotti was tasty with good bits of truffle but not too overtly mushroom forward. We were staying at the quaint Lodge for our family Sonoma trip, and arrived late so we thought it was a good idea to stick to a place close by the hotel. We loved everything from the food, chic ambiance to the charm of the place that makes it seem like a special place. The restaurant hearing upon my little one celebrated her fourth birthday last week, whipped up a hand written birthday card welcoming her to the restaurant (pic for reference). The staff was so friendly and patient with my chatty elder one too. Overall, it was a great experience and opened up our Sonoma trip well. Gave us a great impression on the hotel too. Oh, the food. I almost forgot. We had a little bit of everything. But two things I wanted to point out - contrary to what is out there, they DO have a kids' menu and do give you one as a part of their coloring book. Second, the steak was great. Being an aspiring vegetarian, I don't say this too often, but the steak was darn good. Our server made him feel like an adult and waited on him as well. The restaurant is a beautiful place, but we were disappointed on the sparse food selection, specifically the main entrees. I ended up ordering the raw seafood variety. Presentation was nice as it came in a tall round 3 layered tray with ice. Everything tasted fresh and good. My husband had Mary's chicken. He said it was "good, but not worth the price". When we arrived, along with another group, there was nobody at the desk. We waited a bit and the lady finally came back from seating others. We thought it was odd to not have another person at the desk. Maybe they lacked staff that night? Living in the Napa area, we are spoiled foodies. There are other pricey restaurants we've experienced where the food was amazing, so not sure if we'd come back. read more

We enjoyed the Parker Rolls, brick chicken, salmon, sticky toffee pudding and Wit & Wisdom chocolate bar. Everything was great and flavorful. The first batch of Parker Rolls we got had chilled areas like they hadn't been heated enough from the freezer. When I brought it to our server's attention, she immediately brought us new ones that were properly heated. I am a huge fan of Micheal Mina restaurants and having been to several, was excited to try this! It did not disappoint! First we had an amazing dining experience thanks to our server Matt! He had great recommendations, great pace and was fantastic throughout our meal! Our group enjoyed wine but I had to go with the Pliny the Elder as it's a fantastic IPA that I cannot get easily at home We began with the insanely amazing bread rolls which wrote delicious then some appetizers. The beet ravioli which was a curious but very tasty dish and the dish that for me was the standout of the night - the crab and endive Caesar which was spectacular! I went with two appetizers rather than main - the Hamachi crudo; it was good but I have had better. The prices were a little too big and too thick and it just needed a little something to make it pop! The octopus was however great! The service here was impeccable. I came with a party of five for my birthday. When we arrived they had a handwritten card for me for my birthday. We started with the Parker rolls and ricotta spread and were OBSESSED 10/10 on the rolls. We also got duck fat fries: delish! For the table we enjoyed two pizzas, the salmon entrees, two salads and multiple cocktails. We were stuffed and skipped dessert which in hind sight might have been a tragic mistake! The kicker to the entire experience was the email from the manager thanking me for coming in. Wonderful place. My one and only critique is the soda is not refillable and cost 6$ which I think is absurd. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was extremely kind and attentive. The restaurant itself featured and open kitchen and tons of seating. The lights are dim and create an intimate feel. The food was excellent. We enjoyed and array of items with a wine tasting menu featuring local wines from Sangiacomo as well. My favorite dish by far was the chef special duck bolognese. I had never had duck before this, but the bolognese made it so approachable and the basil ricotta was perfectly creamy. At first we thought it was a little steep in price, but then we took a few bites and it was totally worth ~$100 Aged Burger: 5/5 insanely delicious. All the veggies were so fresh. Our server Christian was personable and very attentive during our meal. We had the following dishes, salmon, cauliflower, seafood boil, wedge salad, gnocchi, bomba pizza, 16 oz prime ribeye with whipped potatoes and an order of the rolls, along with some cocktails. The food reviews are as follows, the wedge salad was a good portion and was delicious, the cauliflower, salmon and seafood boil were tasty as well. The gnocchi was described as too dense and tasting like fried mash potatoes. The bomba pizza was described as not too spicy but very good. My wife and I had the ribeye ( medium rare)and whipped potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were very buttery and incredible. Let's not forget the rolls, they had a nice butter/ pepper topping and came out piping hot with honey butter. We are tourists. We booked this place on open table. When we arrived, we were surprised this restaurant was part of the autograph hotel and that it was a Michael Mina concept. He has like 30 different concepts! The entrance is really cute and there's a nice fire pit seating area in their patio section. We were helped immediately and taken to our reserved table which had a nice card from the staff, congratulating us on our anniversary. We were also offered celebratory glasses of champagne, which we declined. It was still a nice offer, but we were kinda done drinking after our wine tastings all day. We almost got the set menu, but instead, we went with appetizers and would have gotten the lobster pot pie if we were still hungry. But the duck wings, Parker house rolls, octopus and lamb pasta were so filling!!!! We loved all of our dishes. I was surprise the duck wings were 6 instead of 4. What a great serving size. The lamb pasta had a ton of meat. And I believe the pasta is hand made, as I've never seen that style of pasta before? The octopus was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The bread was as heavenly as one would expect. We did end up splurging on dessert. We got the "candy bar" which is as described! It was fantastic. My husband said he wishes it had a side of ice cream. So, I recommend you order that on the side if you get the candy bar. Service was great. Our leftovers were packed up neatly. Parking is tricky. They don't really have a lot. The lot is for hotel guests? There is a valet- maybe they validate? We parked illegally and thankfully the car was not towed. Wonderful restaurant. Would recommend. Had a very disappointing Valentine's dinner at Wit and Wisdom. First of all, we had a reservation but were brought to a table all the way in the back in front of the bathrooms when there were plenty of tables open in the main dining area. I don't understand why but we asked to move and ended up sitting elsewhere. Food was not good. Steak was practically raw when we asked for medium rare and took a long time to recook. The short rib tasted like airplane food. Had high expectations as we do like his other restaurants. Will not be returning. read more
