I am a business owner and I do a lot of videos and when I broke a tooth I immediately called my dentist Dr Creech. I went in and was told 2 options, a bridge or an implant. I had done an implant with them few years back everything went great. I am sitting in the chair with Novocaine shots and half out of it so when they said $2200 for an implant I agreed even though its a lot of money. Instead of scheduling me another day, this was valentines day they immediately proceeded to take my tooth out which I found odd that it happened so fast. I had paid $1000 at my last visit and when I walk in today to only get a flapper fake tooth, because I was told the implant could take months they wanted another $1200, I immediately said why would I pay you for the whole thing when it takes several months. The secretary proceeded to tell me they are done, this wasn't including the implant, this was just a tooth extraction and bone graft. WHY ON EARTH would I agreed to only have a front tooth removed with no implant, when I asked for an implant? I even mentioned I had commercials I had to do and wanted the implant done. I was the one that asked for a flapper tooth because I didn't want to wait a few months they told me it would take to do the whole implant. So now I am out $1000 and have my tooth removed and I don't even trust this company. I would have NEVER agreed to $2200 to be left like this, why would you not have quoted me the whole thing? I had called and got quote for tooth removal and implant $2500-$3000. You were going to charge me another $1500 for the implant. $4000 for one tooth, please run from this company!

The office confirmed receipt of previous dental records, including images prior to my appointment. I was not given an option to decline. I am not a fan of such business practices and do not recommend this dentist. A patient should always have the choice to either consent or decline service in these situations.

We each see different hygienists (just happened by accident with scheduling) but neither one of us will change because we both love our assigned ones so much. And Dr Lopez is a fantastic dentist. Doesn't try to upsell you. Takes care of what's needed and then sends you along. I've only had routine cleanings and xrays, but my husband has needed some more work, and it's all been done very well. Prices are reasonable, with or without insurance- and they definitely work with your insurance well. They're not the fanciest office, but they provide a solid 4 star dental experience.

This dentist's only concern is to monetize his practice. He pushed a costly and completely unnecessary orthodontic tray treatment on my wife, claiming that it would reverse gum recession she had experienced. We were concerned about entering into a process that could take several months since we were permanently moving across the state in a month. He insisted that the process would be effortless and that he could assist remotely if anything went wrong with future tray sets. The tray sets never fit properly because we discovered he did a terrible job initially placing the buttons. Further, when subsequent tray sets didn't fit properly, he ignored our calls because he had already received the bulk of the service payment. We ultimately needed to go to a completely different service provider who explained that the existing gum recession could not be reversed through this process. Dr. Goldschein completely understated the complexity of the treatment and should NEVER have engaged with the advanced knowledge of our imminent relocation. This service should never have been recommended in the first place, and this dentist has completely disregarded his duty of service to his patients.

My 80-year-old father recently visited the office seeking a straightforward and affordable treatment plan. He currently has an upper denture and a lower partial with two remaining attachment teeth that need extraction. The goal was to create a new upper denture and a new lower implant-supported denture, with two implants intended to support and stabilize the new lower denture. We fully understood that he would require bone grafting beforehand due to significant bone loss. My father does not have dental insurance and trusted the office to provide an honest and appropriate treatment plan. Instead, he was presented with a proposal totaling nearly $26,000. As his daughter, and someone with extensive dental knowledge, I was honestly baffled after reviewing the treatment plan and panoramic X-rays. One of the most concerning issues was the use of dental code D7210, which is intended for the surgical removal of an erupted tooth requiring bone removal, tooth sectioning, or flap elevation. The office proposed using this code for the extraction of my father's two lower teeth and charged $419 per extraction under this surgical code. However, the panoramic X-ray and treatment plan clearly indicate that my father already has severe bone loss and requires bone grafting to preserve what little bone remains for future implant support. In this situation, using a surgical extraction code involving bone removal seems completely inappropriate when a simple extraction code could have been used instead. It felt less like patient-centered care and more like an attempt to maximize billing at the expense of an elderly patient who trusted their guidance. Sadly, this experience reinforced the growing concern many people have about large dental chains prioritizing production and overhead costs over honest, ethical treatment planning. I can only say that I am extremely disappointed in the handling of this case and in Dr. Smiley Jr. specifically. My father deserved transparency, compassion, a realistic treatment plan, and to be presented with alternative treatment options that could have better fit his age, condition, and financial situation not what felt like an excessive and unnecessary financial burden.
