Great little spot with very friendly staff and a nice diversity of beers and handmade seltzers. Very glad we popped in.

This is right on the old…read moretown square, I believe - there are shops that run up one side of the street with free parking along the other side. Neat brewery with a welcoming interior, the taproom is in front right when you walk in with a few tables and tall stools at the bar. The brewhouse is in the back mostly along the left wall - there's also a door in the rear that provides access to a outdoor patio beer garden. While there (yesterday 2024.12.07) there was a Santa at an elevated area with an open fire. I tried a flight of what looked to be the most interesting on the menu. There appears to be 16 available drinks on tap, including a couple of seltzers. I tried: * Berry Buzz fruited sour - Tasty little sour, dry tart body with notes of raspberry and a touch of lime, very clean. 4/5 * Holiday Hops hazy IPA - Fairly tasty IPA with a great mouthfeel, hoppy fragrant nose and slightly dry finish. 4/5 * Frogtality barleywine - As barleywine go, this is pretty basic, yet satisfying. Could definitely use more sweet malt, finishes fairly clean. 3.5/5 * Dark Side of the Pond brown ale - Not sure what's going on with this - registers more of a light porter with zero malt sweetness and a bitter burnt finish. Not a typical brown ale. 3/5 Service was awesome, easy to have a conversation with those working the bar. I'll return from time to time to see what's new.

The weather was so breezy, mild, and nice that day, I had to look for places with outdoor dining…read more We saw that there were dog-friendly and had a little gated "dog park," so we decided to give this place a shot. Firstly, the service was great. The host and our server did nothing wrong. My husband had a couple of beers and thought they were great as well. That's why I'm giving 3 stars. They saved it from giving them 1. Phew. Now, with that being said, I write this review a whole day later because I cannot NOT write about our disappointment with the food itself. We ordered mozzarella wedges and fried pickles as appetizers. The fried pickles were fine, but we all took turns laughing and showing off how hollow each one of our mozzarella wedges was. It was all puff and no cheese. That was the start. Then we got our entrées. We ordered wings, a pepperoni flatbread, Cajun pasta, a chicken club sandwich, and fish and chips. My daughter liked the wings, but everything else was not good. I'm trying really hard not to use the word "terrible." My daughter described her pepperoni flatbread as, "I guess it's OK. It tastes like Chinese buffet pizza." My husband, who tries never to complain about food, said his chicken club tasted extremely burnt. I tried it and spit it out because it was so bitter. The pasta was just so very sad, and the garlic toast that came with it was even sadder. My fish and chips were not great either. No one liked the cold fries. We almost finished everything because it was late, we were starving, we're not necessarily picky, and the portions were extremely small. Again, my daughter liked her wings, so there's that. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I also don't like paying a decent amount for bad food in this economy. I didn't want to complain to management because we weren't there to get anything comped, and I could already tell there was nothing I could suggest that would fix how bad our food was. I just could not, in good conscience, fail to warn the next customer about what to expect from the food
