Perfect place to stop in for a delicious green beer or any beer really. They have a full menu now and I'm looking forward to trying some of it in the near future. I love this space. There is some seating inside with a game room and even better seating outside with a large fire pit. Outdoor seating is spacious with a lot of picnic tables and chairs. They even have a small stage. There's plenty of grassy area where you can bring your own chair or blanket. The service is always spot on, friendly, and knowledgeable. read more

I stopped in for some beers by myself before a UWG game so I didn't have time for food which may have kept me from giving 5 stars. I will say the bartender gave very generous pours for my flight which was appreciated. All the beers were good but I especially liked their hefeweizen and farmhouse style beers. Food menu looked pretty good so I'd like to come back again and try it out. Inside there are several different rooms to sit with picnic tables and some high tops. Outside more picnic tables and looks like it'd be a good place to come in nice weather with a place for a band. read more

We love this place! There really isn't any outdoor places with live music around here so this is one of our favorites! The only thing that missing is a dance floor! Maybe even a "country night" for couples who like to swing dance. We're SHOCKED that there isn't a place to country swing dance anywhere around. Isn't this Georgia after all!? lol maybe one day! I have been here several times and have had great food and service. The chef is especially talented, knowledgeable and a has a top notch customer service approach . Tonight was different. The guy working behind the bar (5/18, 6:30 pm, red shirt) was terrible. Not a positive customer service bone in his body. Could not wait to tell us customers "no" to our questions. "May I please have my smash burger well done?" No, they are all cooked medium well. "Can they just leave it on the grill for a couple of extra minutes?" No, they don't do that "Can I add bacon to my burger?" No, we don't do that. "You serve bacon on one of the other burgers " Yeah, but they portion everything out so they can't add bacon. "What? That makes no sense" Crickets. I had brought two guests and had told them how this place was a great find. Well, they were less than impressed at the counter. Having had a few great experiences with the chef I sought him out . He was able to completely acknowledge the customer service problem and get me back from being "a never return customer " to a "I'll be back because of you customer ". Pick the right staff and empower them to make the customer happy. BTW the chef changed none of the house rules nor gave us anything free: (nothing free was asked for nor expected). He simply cared enough about the future of the business to treat customers as they should be treated. I suggest you go and experience the multi faceted genius of this chef. We came here to meet some friends after a birthday party. Lots of open green space for kids to run around and play, super family friendly and a great spot to chill outside ATL. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the weather was perfect. I've tried Printer's Ale in the past and do like the creative story of their business. During this visit I didn't try one of their main lineups, rather I had a Positive Image NE IPA. It's was $7 and is served in a goblet. Great for kicking back on an afternoon. I did taste their Octoberfest, it was good, not a huge fan of ales but great to see their are expanding the lineup of brews. Unfortunately, there was no food truck, but who needs food when you have solid brews? Definitely would consider coming back and trying a flight. read more

I was absolutely astonished coming here. I was expecting to have a nice glass of beer and an amazing hot meal. Sadly I was disappointed. The beer tasted off and my food was cold. When I tried to ask for a new hot meal the man in kitchen was extremely rude after I had waited for 10 minutes for someone to help me. One girl was busy cooking while the rest of the staff just looked at me and ignored me. Also when I tried to ask for some ketchup the darker haired girl, who just stared at me the first time, gave me a very rude face and told me they were on the cart, but they were out of ketchup on the cart. The staff here used to be so nice and helpful but things have obviously went down hill with the new staff. read more

Run, don't walk, to Printer's Ale!! This is one of our favorite spots for a nice date night. They just opened up their kitchen & their food is phenomenal! All local goods & just wonderful flavor. We tried their original smash burger and their fish and chips. We can't wait to come back to try their grilled cheese and loaded tots! Besides the food, they always have a large variety of beers, seltzers, and wines (change regularly). Haven't found a selection we don't like! My current favorites are the blue raspberry seltzer & the creamsicle. Service is attentive, but it is mostly a walk up to the bar type of service (for drinks). It's right off a main road, but easily missed if you don't know where it is. Plenty of seating indoors and out (some covered seating outside). They often have live music and food trucks. Definitely worth checking out if you like beer and good food! read more

I wouldn't be back even if someone paid for my food. I ordered food and water, which I was told they only have plastic little cups for water. Okay that's fine no big deal. As I drink almost the entire cup I look and see DIRT and DUST in the bottom floating around. Not just a little either. I think hmm maybe something got in the cup, so I throw that one away and go get a new cup. Start to fill it up and what do you know, dust/ dirt/ mold is in the water directly from the jug. I can't believe I just drank all of that. I tell the bartender that there is something in the water and that I drank it. No apologies at all. I ask for water from anywhere else, and she said there isn't anywhere else we can get water. I knew that was a lie right to my face. Pretty mad I also had to pay / tip before receiving my food as well. So I walk off, go to my car and grab my water bottle. As this is going on my food has been ready for about 5 mins. I go to grab it and tell the people working the kitchen what just happened. I said there is no way in hell that is the only place to get water in this massive building. The guy comes back with 2 full water bottles and hands them to me. Interesting whenever I was just told there was no other water available. The bartender was a 20 something year old woman. Super friendly place with an awesome beer program. They have a lot of farmhouse style beers on tap which I really like. The saison was great, and they have this farmhouse ale aged on local muscadine grapes they picked from their property. Really unique and different from other breweries - don't get me wrong, I love an IPA as much as anyone and they've got plenty of those to choose from as well. Their Everyday Cyan is a really solid west coast IPA. Just a deep beer list to choose from, something for everyone. I think they said they have 32+ taps, with 6 of those being NA offerings. They even have hop water on tap! And this Cait R person that said NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY? The property is really big and I saw lots of families with their kids having a great time. Dogs are welcome too. I guess she's got an ax to grind or something, but the staff was really nice to me and all the people I saw.. Anyway, I had a great time and will definitely be back. read more

If you're in Carrollton, go here to hang out for happy hour. They have a lot of great outdoor seating and room to play cornhole and frisbee while enjoying one of their numerous craft made beers. I suggest getting a sampler on your first visit, but the bartenders are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you may have. They also offer taste pours, half pours, and full pours, which is very handy since some of the beers are strong. They don't serve food, but I've seen people bring their own pizza, and we've taken our own appetizers. read more

What a great place! We love to come here whenever we visit our son at college at The University of West Georgia. This brewery has some very imaginative beers and unlike many breweries that now all try to out-hop each other, all the beers here are drinkable and not overly bitter or hoppy. Employees are very personable and there's outdoor seating too for nice weather days. Huge field for frisbee golf and sometimes they have music. read more

My husband and I love good craft beer. We like trying out different breweries everywhere we go. We also aren't super picky either, or maybe I should say we are fairly easy to please. This brewery just didnt do it for us. It has an adorable set up with a really nice outdoor area. There was a food truck (BBQ) there when we went. Though we didn't eat there, it's always nice to have the option. Our bartenders were nice and we didn't wait long at all for drinks. So I would rate this place 5 stars for service and atmosphere. Genuinely nothing to say bad about our service or the set up. What we didnt like was the beer. Normally we can find a couple of good beers anywhere we go. We get flights and may or may not like everything we sample but we normally fill a couple growlers upon leaving any brewery. Here, we did not try a single beer that made us feel like we wanted to take some home. Bummer. I can see how this place would do well in an area that doesn't have other brewery options, but there are better beers to be had than what is available here. Now the beer wasnt awful or anything. But it was truly just "meh". We can purchase beers of equal/better quality at any grocery store. read more

I went tonight for the release for of their new high gravity imperial stout and had a great time! The staff was great, and all of the other beers were excellent as well especially their seasonal ones. The best part of the night was when they turned the televisions to have one playing an epic sax with Gandalf dancing to it and another playing some Hee Man remix. They both added to a great atmosphere to a perfect night! I cannot wait to go again! read more

At long last, Carrollton gets a craft brewery. And it is a good one. I highly recommend making the trip to anyone who has an interest in craft beer. I am a beer nerd and I make a point of traveling to breweries whenever I can. A brewery opening in my back yard is fantastic and I looked forward to sampling their wares. As someone who spends part of the year in San Diego, with its 200+ breweries, I have been to a lot of new breweries of all sizes. I have also watched breweries grow from tiny nano-breweries to big national brands. Printers looks and tastes like a place that is going to last and whose beers will become a regular feature in the region. They clearly did things the right way. They have a very nice taproom that has a great feeling to it. The taproom is split between the bar area and a game room, one of the key elements of a family friendly brewery. They have a nice space outside for the days when the weather cooperates. On the whole, this is a very well-designed space, although it might be crowded when the cold sets in and fewer people sit outside. None of that matters if the beer sucks. Fortunately, Printers has a very strong lineup of beers that blends regular beers with a rotation of limited runs. All four core beers are good examples of the styles they represent. The Magenta, the amber ale, is an excellent example of the new generation of amber ales that give you a nicely balanced mix of flavors and it provides those folks who do not want a hop-bomb with a very nice alternative. The Cyan is a good east coast style IPA, which means that it has strong hop notes, but does not have the massive hit that you get in the west coast IPA's. It is a good fit for the region and probably the best bet for hop-heads who also want a great beer to drink in the Georgia heat. The Yellow is a golden ale and if you want to show Bud Light drinkers what light colored beers are supposed to taste like when they are made right, then make them drink this one. The Black is a porter that is a great example of what a porter is supposed to be: a flavorful, easy drinking beer with some body to it. They have many good beers in the rotating part. The Guttenberg Gose is a must for fans of that style and a perfect introduction to that style for those who have not had one before. The brewery is still relatively new, so there are likely to be some interesting beers in the works. You can see the bourbon barrels in the brewery proper, so you know there is at least one batch back there getting ready for winter. The highlight of the brewery tour for me was seeing how much open space they have. They have lots of room to grow. read more
