Awesome beers and all beverages! The staff is great! All the properties around Atlanta are in great locations with outdoor and indoor space! All dog friendly!

I wanted to like this place a lot more than I did... The patio is lovely, but it was spoiled by a DJ playing music so loudly we couldn't talk to each other at all--not really the Sunday Funday vibe I was hoping for. (No idea how the people in the surrounding apartments can stand it. I like music, but this was super excessive.) The brewery was understaffed on the day we visited, but the bartender was very nice and attentive and managed the workload well. I tried the wheat beer (not a fan) and the radler (does the job). I would visit again on a non-DJ day to try some other beers and hopefully enjoy the beautiful patio.

Definitely didn't expect to find a brewery hidden in Smyrna right off of the Chattahoochee river. It's nicely tucked away where you can enjoy strolling along the trail that runs horizontal to the Chattahoochee or you can sit outside with your beer while overlooking the Chattahoochee. There's also board games inside and lots of TVs for watching March madness or college football season. We were also happy to find a bbq joint is attached to this location. Definitely makes for a good evening and weekend hangout spot. Come check it out. They also have some cool drinking mugs, cups, etc for you to take home.

Smyrna's first brewery has finally opened! Reformation Brewery has brought the specialty beers to the neighborhood, finally!! Located in an unincorporated part of the city, between Veterans Memorial and South Cobb, along the Chattahoochee River on the backside of an apartment complex sits this location of Reformation! While the area is clearly on the rise, Reformation kicked off the up-tick of life in this section of Smyrna and is soon to be followed by apartments, parks, restaurants and other chill spots for you, the fam and the puppers! As mentioned, you have to search a little for this place...when you pull up, you will be greeted by Chattahoochee Coffee and the apartments themselves, but don't fret...simply drive around the building and the shining light of Reformation will confirm you have arrived! Unlike the other locations, this spot is definitely smaller. However, smaller does not mean any less fantastic as this place is laid out quite well! The tap room is a large L shape with plenty of seating from high tops to standing communal tables to actual dining tables. One cool thing about this location is that they have a large door that will eventually connect them to a BBQ place. Booze and BBQ, need I say more! In addition to being shoulder to shoulder with an eatery, this location sits directly on the Hooch, so in better weather you can chill by the water and sip your IPA. At first glance you may question this location, but after seeing what this area has to offer, you quickly realize Reformation Brewery made big moves and is getting in on the ground floor of a fantastic development! The beers themselves are wide in variety and heavy on taste! I am a fruity, sour and witbier type of guy - lucky for me, they had me covered! I began my day with the Haddy, which was a witbier that was light and refreshing! I followed this up with the JOGR, which gets its name from being a juicy lager. Sounds weird, tastes great! Overall, I am beyond excited to have Reformation here in Smyrna and cannot wait to continue to support them through he transformation they are spearheading for our community!

This is brewery located in the Mableton/Smyrna area overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Nice spot to bring your beloved pets while sipping some craft beers on a beautiful sunny day. Even if it rains, they have plenty of seating inside the establishment. If you get the munchies, they have a BBQ joint called Grand Champion BBQ attached next to the brewery (they share the same building). Come one, come all! We will definitely come back here being so close to home!

First time here. Definitely a cool spot right beside the Chattahoochee. We wanted something close to Smyrna and this will be our new go too. Great beer selection and some amazing sours! BBQ right beside for easy food selection.

After visiting Sweetwater State Park our next stop was here at Reformation Brewery where indoor service was suspended but at least they let us use the bathrooms and they let me purchase some merch. Got their cool "Nolan the Wanderer" shirt named after the same IPA which literally is formulated seasonally, hence the wanderer. I forget which iteration they are in. This is a new location. They had a counter from which folks were serving us the beer which we took and sat in front to enjoy at our own table. Afterwards we concluded with a little bit of clowning around the Chattahoochee River. Good enjoyable beer too.

We drank outside and got our beer from a window. It was yummy beer and high alcohol content. We drank one of many IPAs. This is during covid, so everyone was spread out and mostly alone. The river is near so after our beer and before driving home we did a walk along the river. It was a nice relaxing place and there are apartments near, even looking down which can be good and bad to live there. I will definitely come back when the place is fully open again!

We did the beer-to-go and ordered through the website. Super easy and you get a text confirmation of the order. Ordered a growler of the Denali IPA to go with some Grand Champion BBQ from next store. They have an outside bar that you can walk up to and pick up your order. Super friendly and easy transaction. They poured the growler right after confirming my order and they seal the bottles with some plastic and heat gun. Great spot to have a cold refreshing beer and take a stroll by the river. The beer was super delicious and drinkable. The Denali IPA is 6% ABV and not too bitter, nice touch of pine and citrus that makes an IPA wonderful. Will definitely return to try other beers. On the website, the other locations in the region have a larger selection of seasonal beer, but the location is awesome, tucked away, quiet, and not crowded at all.

We love coming here! Location is great, and we love that there is a bbq restaurant next door. Super dog friendly as well! We love walking down the trail and down by the river.

IPA and a flight of tasty beers. BBQ next door

Nice atmosphere. Great people and they are very nice. There is one tv for watching sports etc. Grand Champion BBQ is connected next door so when you walk in you will smell some good BBQ notes in the air. Definitely worth stopping by. The serving side of the brewery is in the back of the building. Not the spot you'll initially come up on from the road. FYI

Yes, there are goat paintings. Additionally there were two old school game consoles, but only was working. But it was a two for one game: Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. This was free to play! And of course there were two T.V.'s with some sort of game playing in the background. Now for the alcohol itself... I tried a beer that had Naughty in its name which was fruity and had a low IBU (International Bitter Units). The strawberry margarita was super strong. But then again, I was sipping from the very bottom. I also sampled the hubs' stout and a watermelon lime beer to which both were pretty tasty. The vibe here was chill as it should be. One guy was super friendly throughout the whole evening engaging us in conversation and willing to help me find the perfect beer pairing according to my taste buds with a few sampling.

We arrived around 1 pm on a Saturday and had issue finding parking in their main lot. There is an overflow lot behind the building and there is signage to direct there if needed. When we arrived, we smelled something delicious coming from the on-site food truck, heard some great live music coming from inside and there were a ton of folks inside and outside just having a good ol time. Once we walked inside, there was plenty of beer on tap but I appreciated that there were frozen drinks available and with their partnership with Urban Tree, I was excited to see some of my old favorite ciders. The guy that helped me was super sweet and helpful. He made some great suggestions and I had a vodka blueberry lemonade, came back later for a water-marita which was my favorite. We order some loaded fries from their onsite food truck and the fries were amazinggggg! Huge portion, hot, and just the right amount of food. They have plenty of other stuff on the menu but the fries were good enough for the both of us. I totally forgot what drink my husband got but I do remember he enjoyed them. We had a great time just people watching, listening to music and chatting with folks. This is a good place to just come and hang for awhile for sure and we'll be back sooooooon.

This is a Belgian-inspired brewery, restaurant, bookstore, and beer garden all under one roof. Bold Monk is located in the Upper Westside of Atlanta, near Chattahoochee Food Works and Topgolf Atlanta Midtown. There's plenty of free parking around the building and on the street (Ellsworth Industrial Blvd NW). I like the space here because there are various spaces inside and "outside" to spread out and hang out. I put "outside" in quotes because their patio is fully covered and enclosed -- good for bad weather. I had the Presence Pilsner (lager, 4.8%, 16 oz, $7). It was cold, crisp, and refreshing. I recommend it. The menu describes it as offering a "soft bready malt, delicate herbal and floral hop notes, and clean, dry finish." For dinner, I had the Salmon Dip ($16) to start and the Steak + Frites (market price) as my main. The Salmon Dip is made with house-cured salmon and tarragon aioli, and comes with thin toast triangles. The Steak + Frites is "chef's cut" (not sure which, didn't ask) and comes with Bearnaise, arugula, and Belgian frites (fries). The Bearnaise went great with both the steak and the fries. Bold Monk is known for their Belgian Frites, "The Original French Fry," which comes with a variety of sauces and in a few different styles. They also offer a variety of mussels and pizza. My buddy had one of the pizzas, "the 1838," I believe, which comes with different mushrooms, mozzarella, and house-made truffle ricotta. He seemed to enjoy it. The pizzas - the 1836, the 1899, the 1838, the 1850, and the 1862 - are all named after years that monasteries opened in Europe. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out just right. The quality of the cut was average/about what you'd expect for budget-friendly steak frites (it's no Bar Blanc in terms of cut quality). But still, that and the Salmon Dip were tasty and satisfying enough. Good service from both our server and the host/manager, who made sure my friend did not leave his jacket behind. Bold Monk opened in December 2019.

The ranch they come with is really good. They have a very nice selection of craft beer and your standard beer, and T's cocktail with grilled pineapple was really good.
