Bill was super easy to work with and schedule with, and although he was very honest up front about being bearish on being able to remedy the car with door dings (due to make/model issues with safety bracing, metal composition, etc.), he exceeded even his own expectations and was able to perfectly remedy ALL the dents in even that tougher car! One of the other quotes we got wouldn't even quote that car due to the aforementioned difficulties with fixing that make and model, typically. After exchanging info with the person who hit me, I began my journey with insurance companies and on a recommendation from Molle Toyota (where I have my cars serviced) I found Hendricks. I was encouraged when I saw the Yelp reviews and made an appointment. When I arrived they did a quick assessment of the damage and then told me they'd be in touch with next steps. Now, this was mid October and I had to follow up with them several times to get any feedback on where we were at (which was annoying), and then by the time November came we had a new baby so life got pretty chaotic. They eventually got back to me mid November letting me know that they thought that the car had sustained more damage than Allstate agreed to pay for so they were asking for more money to do the fix. Since the car was still at our house, Allstate sent someone over to evaluate and luckily for us they agreed with Hendricks and we more than doubled what the insurance was initially willing to pay. I can't speak to repair work or timeliness on that front but I am very grateful for these folks as had they not challenged the quote from the insurance we wouldn't have gotten as much for our car.

It is a European luxury brand and having the work done at a dealership would have been astronomical, probably as much as the auto was worth undamaged. I went to Charlie's Collision Repair to ask them to consider fixing the damage. Dave Osborne advised me that owners of this brand preferred to have the dealership make repairs. Parts were very expensive and had to be shipped from St. Louis. He was reluctant to even look at the SUV. I showed him pictures and persuaded him to consider making the repairs. Had the SUV towed to the shop and an agreement was reached . The total was at least 40% less than I expected to pay at the dealership. First, .....the bad news. Dave had warned me, "I hope you're not expecting it back anytime soon." The good news was, .....a wrecked SUV was sitting in the repair shop, not my garage or driveway. It was finished exactly when promised,.... "not anytime soon". I was kept informed on progress and problems until repairs were complete. When I picked it up, Dave, the office manager, and the mechanics escorted me to the finished SUV. They were all that proud of the work they had done. And, it looked perfect. The SUV had been cleaned inside and out. I was advised to take it home for a week or so, make a list of anything I was unhappy with, bring it back and they'd fix everything to my satisfaction. It's been seven weeks and it has not been necessary to return. I was very satisfied with the work performed and convinced the cost was very reasonable. What a great group of people!!
