Around 12:30pm, I called back and was told that the technician had gone home sick at noon. My car was not looked at in the 4 hours except to complete an inspection, that I had asked for. I was told someone might be able to work on my car if I left it, but that they were fully booked for the next two days. I retrieved my car and took it elsewhere.

Of course, there's a charge for that "service." Instead, we asked for specific repairs and they charged for "taking a look" to confirm in addition to cost of repair. They also said they had to run codes, charged to run codes, then quoted a repair that had already been done. The communication from the "front office" to techs is ineffective resulting in wasted time and unnecessary repairs being made and quoted. If your car problem is not cookie cutter, they are not equipped or able to diagnose. Their service is mostly consuming time and charging for it.

I talked to Paul the week before and he gave me a time that I could come in to have my vehicle assessed. I told Paul that the time conflicted with my class, and he told me that was okay, transportation could be provided.Samantha made sure that I got back and forth from school, just like Paul had assured me. My experience was professional, courteous and comfortable! I've been having a really hard time finding a decent mechanic being that I lack knowledge for vehicles . Paul drove the vehicle around, and even had someone else check behind him for a second opinion. My check engine light has been on for months, even after I took it to Jiffy Lube, in which wanted to do a transmission flush that would have totaled to $80.00. Paul called me and told me that I only needed an oil change that wouldn't even cost half the price of the service Jiffy Lube claimed that I needed. Paul was right because for the first time in awhile, my check engine light is not on! As a matter of fact, I'm just going to be honest, Paul said the oil change was on the house, and that he understands that I am a college student trying to graduate. I was prepared to make another appointment when I could pay him, but he insisted that he took care of the issue so that I could continue my daily commute to campus. It's simple things like this that mean so much to me. I graduate this May, but this journey has not been easy. It seems that everything in my life was trying to stop that from happening, including car problems that have prevented me from attending class several times. The first was a leak in a hose and they replaced it and it still leaded. I just got back from picking up my one of my trucks and they didn't listen to me and Larry lied about what was said. I drive 50 thousand miles a year and want good brakes. I told Larry that I wanted Manufacture parts on my brakes and when I picked it up the brakes squeaked and I called and Larry said that I said I didn't want manufacture parts because it would be more expensive. told him that I would never say that because the brakes squeak. I brought my Rav-4 in and after a few days they finally were able to tell me it was my head gasket. After pulling apart my engine they said they needed to send it to a machine shop be because it was warped. After three weeks of having my car I asked about when I could expect it to be finished and of course I would have to wait another week because Thanksgiving was coming and they didn't work over the holiday. They had my car almost 5 weeks and after $7000 later I finally got my car. I went in to pick it up and was told for the first time they don't take checks. Scott told me, "who writes checks anymore?" Well, I do and that was so uncalled for she disrespectful. I had to pick my car up the next day because of this. So fast forward April and my car was not accelerating. I took it to them, again thinking it was still the same issue. I told Scott what the issue was and he set an appointment for me and when I brought it in he said the person that worked on my car was out on bereavement and wouldn't be back for a week. He also didn't believe what I told him was wrong over the phone because there was no engine light on. Now, as I brought it in there was a light on and he said,"oh it is acting up then?" What? He called me the next week and said they did a few diagnostic tests and still can't figure it out and I already owe like $900 and I would have to pay for it out of my pocket. Eventually, they figured out it was the catalytic converter which is right under the head gasket. I feel they should have fixed that as a part of the head gasket but another $2300 later. Scott called me and said the catalytic converter was on back order and it would be ready in September or October. It's now May. He said, "that's why I have three cars. Are you kidding me? Who has three cars just in case one car is not working? I will never go back there again and actually traded my car in for a new one. $900 in diagnostics alone. Obviously they have no ideas what they are doing. Save yourself time and money don't go there.
