So I bought this Whirlpool dishwasher from home Depot in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey in March. Been using it for 7 months and all of a sudden it stopped working. So I call home Depot and they give me the whirlpool number and they schedule a repair with buckos appliance since they are an authorized dealer. They gave me Monday November 20th and an eight hour window. Fine So I get a call on a Friday before from buckos and they said they were scheduled and they would not be able to come till November 29th which is 9 days longer than Whirlpool said they would be there. So I called them out on it saying I guess he doesn't make as much money working for a home Depot as he would on his own so that's really the reason. There is no other reason because it's all about the money. He shouldn't be an authorized dealer and take the responsibility if he can't honor his contract. I can't really say anything about their work but I can say if you're looking for somebody reliable and if something goes wrong and buckos was the one that ran into a problem, this sends up a big red flag to me about buckos and I have to question his character and honesty. I paid Bucko's $424.54 to replace my defective Whirlpool Refrigerator Freezer Ice Maker in March. Last night it stopped working again. When I called Bucko's this morning they said the warranty was only good for 30 days and would require another service call. I will never use Bucko's again and tell everyone how they treated me. I also will never buy another Whirlpool Appliance. Stay away from Bucko's and Whirlpool. read more

He investigated replacing the evaporator and gave me the price, which was almost the cost of buying a new unit. I gladly paid for the diagnosis. My regular Appliance Repair company did not work on Matag Washers so I asked for recommendation and they suggested Bucko's. Called and got appointment for a week later. Came today and fixed washer at reasonable price. I have very often fixed my own appliances with the aid of utube and appliance parts stores, but his one was beyond me so price was worth it. Why Matag uses cheap plastic parts that break is beyond me. Well that's another review, however if you do any work on appliances you'll find that the are all the same. read more

My elderly parents have a thermador oven. Sadly Bucko's is the only company in the area that can service it. The process for the repair has been insulting. The tech showed up a week after appt was made and was irritated when my mom asked he wear a mask and gloves. She calmly requested he make sure that the correct part was ordered bc she didn't like having people in the house due to Covid. Go figure the tech ordered the wrong part. 3 weeks have past and the same tech returns to attempt to repair and fails. And It's another month for the new part to come in and Bucko's to service. How could this take so long? He said the part is in but he's too busy to come by. Also his explanation was "human error- sorry". Just demeaning and rude. I have a thermador oven that needed a part and had it repaired within two weeks during thanksgiving. Avoid Bucko's. read more

Anytime I call, if it's an emergency then they arrive the same day. If it's not an emergency, then they can come out tomorrow or the next day. We have some French made 7' tall built-in side by side freezer refrigerator, stainless, with power adjustable shelves that from the outside looks like a hotel elevator. I called Buckos knowing what was wrong with my Bosch dryer. When I made the appointment, I told them what parts I needed. The repairman showed up, I told him what was wrong, and he agreed. Never opened the dryer at all, just listened to it. Didn't even bring a tool bag in with him. Also did NOT bring the part! Wrote up an invoice for a service call ($117) and left with a check. I asked him what the parts and repair would cost and he answered "oh, it will be less than today". Just got a call from Buckos that the estimate for parts and labor was $220! I will buy the parts directly from Bosch and make the repair myself. This isn't my first bad experience with Bucko. A few years ago the drum belt broke. Called and told them that. Same thing...guy comes without the part, leaves with a check. Calls the next day to say they can't get the part. I found the part on Amazon! How can you be a Bosch recommended service provider and not stock any parts??? read more

Do not use Bucko's. They sent someone out to diagnose a problem with my range. The person that came out said he was the owner of the company. He was very nasty. Charged $96 for the service call. Advised that I needed a part. Returned and installed part. Charged a second fee and my range is still not working properly. Called the company to report that I was still having the same problem that I had when I initially contacted them. They were extremely rude and refused to do anything with the range without charging another fee. Do yourself a favor and use a different company. read more

I recently had a problem with my refrigerator not getting cold. I called Buckos and they sent a technician out the next day. The guy was very nice and personable. He diagnosed the problem as the condenser fan motor. He had one in stock on his van. Problem solved!! When he left I had a working refrigerator again! Terrible! Buckos sent guy (owner) to fix my Bosch dishwasher. he tried a few things and told me it should work and charged me $96 for service call. I called back right away to say it wasn't fixed at all, dishes still not getting clean. I was told pretty much too bad, we can send someone else out and you can pay for him too. I called another appliance company and the technician found problem immediately. It was nothing that Buckos ever checked for. When tech showed me what he did to fix it, it was obvious to me then and I was shocked Buckos never looked. read more

Terrible company. Charged me $96 to diagnose the problem with my fridge. They won't look up the parts until the next day and they won't fix for over a week. It's thanksgiving week and they don't care that u don't have a fridge. I went online myself and got the parts overnight and I will fix myself tomorrow. Scammers. We contracted with Bucko's to have the digital display/control board for our DCS oven repaired. The display was very dim making difficult to read. They tried to repair/rebuild it THREE times without success. Instead of trying to solve the problem each time, they told me to call DCS. Finally, after the third repair, DCS told me that this was the best they could do. However, it is the same as it was before we started this whole process. I requested a refund for the amount I paid for the part. The owner, Tracy, was rude on the phone, but told me she would look into it. That was two weeks ago. Do you think she is going to call me back? Should I wait patiently by the phone? I think not! BTW: I have made a dozen calls between Bucko's (who I contracted with) and DCS the manufacturer. read more

My mother had a Bucko's come to service the oven and before the repairman entered the house asked if he "had to wear a mask". My mother, over 60 and not wanting to "inconvenience" the man, said that they could keep their distance. The man did not keep his distance when my mother became uncomfortable, changed her mind, and asked him to put his mask on, he became very irritable, argued, but finally put a mask on. There are so many things wrong with this scenario but the most blaring is the disregard for a global pandemic and the lack of respect for my mother in her own home. This man goes into everyone's homes without knowing their underlying conditions and without practicing the most basic social distancing guidelines. I can only imagine what he does when he's not at work. He had a mask with him because he legally has to but selfishly and purposefully put my mother in an uncomfortable situation by asking such a loaded question because he thought he could get away with it. Obviously upset and upon reading other reviews stating similar experiences, I called Bucko's to make them aware that their employees are not following guidelines. They took my name but didn't want to hear it and I was told that my message would be passed along to the owner. Without hearing back, I followed up the next day. They told me that I could speak with the repairman if I was so upset. I tried to explain that the employer should speak to their employees when they're repeatedly not doing their jobs properly and when they're putting their own clients at risk. They answered my call in a timely manner, arrived at my house the next morning and after taking a look at my washer machine, found the problem, along with the solution! Never had a problem with Bucko's before this last event. They fixed my dryer once and I think the washer too. This time it was the dishwasher. A leak underneath. The initial service call diagnosed the problem, and they charged me a little less than $100. They ordered a part and when it came in they returned to install it. I paid fir the part and labor and the first time I ran it it made a loud noise. No leak but pretty loud. Like 4 times louder than it was normally. I called and the guy came back and he said that it was "probably food in the chopper" and it would get quiter. Nearly a month later not quieter. Still works but would have rather put the several hundred into a new unit. read more
