Bucks Barbershop is a local barber in Noblesville and what I envision when I think of barber shop. Everyone there was great, just sitting and watching them cut peoples hair while I waited for my son. We had moved from Florida and I had yet to find a barber to cut his hair without butchering it or making it choppy. Our barber was new but Buck continued to come over and check and then did some final touch ups. I was very happy with the cut and plan to have my husband go too! Would give this place zero stars if I could. My boyfriend went in for a faded mullet and came home with both sides of his head buzzed with zero fade. The lady told him his previous haircut was done poorly and looked bad...but lady couldn't even give a fade....what ?!! Ugh disappointed in this cut and don't recommend :/ read more

Update from my first review. I only got my haircut at Buck's mostly with appointments with McKenzie. She did a great job every. Single. Time. The barber shop as a whole has a very friendly atmosphere, clean, well kept, very professional. Unfortunately I moved from the area but if I could give Buck's more than 5 stars, I definitely would. read more

I followed my stylist/colorist/ haha, hair-magician (truly!) to his new place, Buck's, and I have to say I always thought that barbershops were just for men. It was a pleasant surprise to find this place to feel welcoming and be welcoming to everyone; Buck has all types of clients that I watched continuously stream in as I was getting my hair colored. And, everyone left with a smile on their face, seeming a bit happier (and hipper) than when they showed up, I know I did. The atmosphere is old-school and simple, very comfortable, with those cushy barbershop chairs that you can sit in for hours and be cozy. And I fell in love with the music, it was so eclectic and just felt like it fit the place...cool. I felt cooler just by being there, lol. Also, there is free beer, complimentary with service, and water, etc. to keep you refreshed and relaxed. They take pride in their work and it shows. The business is a family business and super friendly, and I will go back regularly, and I look forward to my visits with my new friends. It's like "Cheers", and I can't wait to go back. Unprofessional. My husband went in for a haircut. several kids running in and out of the front door. The women that was cutting his hair was have a very inappropriate conversations with the people around her. My mother has cut hair for 30 years and I've never been seen this level of unprofessionalism in a shop. We will not be back read more

Took my grandson to Bucks, and Leah probably gave him the best haircut he has had in a long time. As always great job Buck and staff.

I don't have enough great things to say about this place. There is a HUGE difference between a decent fade and a great fade and Buck's pulls through with the latter. I have three sons, a bearded husband, and a Marine brother who all swear by Buck's. (The entire staff is great. You really can't go wrong.) Personable, professional, fun to be around, quality work. Today was the latest round of visits for me to have a haircut from Buck's and it will be the last. I first visited Buck's in early 2020, about the time Covid started. For the first few visits, my haircuts came from Buck himself and he did a fine job cutting my hair, no quarrels with his work whatsoever. After a few visits, I'd scheduled another session and arrived about 10 minutes early as I always do. I sat and waited until 10 minutes or so after our start time with no signs of Buck. I questioned one of the other barbers about his absence and he said he had to leave because of his an issue with his daughter. Ok no problem, family emergencies come up and one has to leave at the last minute. I scheduled once more for a few weeks out and the same thing happened. Some type of a heads up would have been nice but zero communication. I let my hair grow out for a few years and when I finally decided to cut it, I went somewhere else but wasn't satisfied with their ability to give a decent men's haircut. I scheduled once more with Buck's establishment (this being today's session) but this time with Jordan. I arrived 10 minutes early and sit and wait. I have no idea if Jordan is a man or woman as they have both working. 2pm arrives and zero acknowledgment that I am there. 15 minutes passes and I ask one of the barbers is Jordan is here and he says yeah he's out back on break. By this time, I've been there 25 minutes. Someone says they'd go get him and they were there and back in a flash. Im waiting a few more minutes and still no Jordan. I told them I was leaving and he might as well stay on break. If you do go to Buck's, I have no doubt you'll get a decent haircut if not a good one. However, starting with Buck all the way down, there's an attitude of no consideration of your time and they are the ones doing you the favor. It's ridiculous to be so inconsiderate of someone's time so very often. Good luck if you go, hopefully your time will be more valued than mine. read more

Not only did she give me the best haircut I've ever had, but she also trimmed my beard and used a straight razor on my neck for not extra cost! $16 for the best haircut of my life. Walked in with no appointment. Had to wait while Buck took a break (never had that happen before with a barber), I waited. He returned, got me in the chair with no further wait. Showed him a Google pic of the person whose hair I wanted mine patterned after. When finished I looked like I had been scalped! I drive over 30 minutes each way to get my haircut by Ernst (Buck). The guy just flat knows how to cut hair. The hot foam/straight razor neck shave and beard trim is always a nice bonus. A barbershop like this is so rare these days. If you are in the vicinity, this is where you should be getting your haircut. read more
