He was persistent about my belonings being stored in his storage unit and I tried communicating multiple times I would like to have my belonings removed but I was not sure what to do because he was going to charge me again to remove my belongings out of his storage unit. So then I hire a company to have them removed and they left some of my boxes there because of miscommunication. I made a reservation for a move from Torrance to SCV with Grant but never received a confirmation- 1st red flag!! Grant and another guy showed up on moving day in a U haul, 1 roll of tape and a few raggedy blankets - 2nd red flag!! They took 6.5 hours to load a 2 bedroom and needed constant supervision. One of them also took a 20 min restroom break in the middle of the move in addition to the normal allocated break. Upon reaching SCV, we found our glass dining table top damaged along with a couple of other items. Grant came over a couple of days later and took measurements to replace the glass table top. Since that day (6 weeks since the move) it's been a game of evade and lies. He says he has the table top on order but no idea of when it is due. Now he won't return calls or messages. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I have to resort to calling him from unknown numbers to get him to answer his phone. I have reported them to the BBB. The good reviews on here are people who just got lucky dealing with this joke of a company!! Please do yourself a favor and pick an honest, reliable and professional company other than these clowns!

Movers…read moretold me it would be time-consuming to wrap them all and transport, so I put a notice on NextDoor, and Joey responded. We set up a date for the move, he was right on time. He had said he was bringing a trailer, and I thought he would be some old junker. But no! It was a clean, shiny, new, fully enclosed big beauty! He loaded up all my plants efficiently, then asked if I needed anything more to put in the trailer. So, I asked him to help me get some Christmas boxes and decorations from my attic in the garage, which is did willingly and helpfully. Once the trailer was full, he met me at my new place and promptly unloaded all the stuff and put it where I wanted. Plus he's very nice and easy to work with! Highly recommend.

Communication with Bob was easy and on point, and I had to change move dates, which he was kind enough to accommodate me. On moving day, there was a slight miscommunication which was quickly solved by Ali (the foreman). Dima and Toby were just overall amazing guys, who kept moving boxes at an incredible speed while being extremely careful with my stuff. They truly cared to provide a great service, and it showed. I've hired moving companies in the past who were either sluggish in hopes of clocking more hours, unreliable, or just straight negligent with my stuff. Respect Movers certainly is a cut above the rest of the competition. Overall, the company offers great value and is reliable, but the credit goes to their movers. I hate leaving bad…read morereviews, especially when the business knows where I live, and the truth is I should have reached out to the business owner after all this happened, but I didn't, and here we are. Seven years later, thinking about this experience still makes me absolutely livid at the disrespectful, unprofessional movers we hired. We hired this company to move from our 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment. They showed up AFTER the end of the appointment window. They were the slowest movers I've ever hired. When we got to the new apartment, which is on the second floor, and at the end of a long building, they parked in the middle of the building. There's a gate at the corner of the building very close to our apartment, but they parked in the middle of the building, 100 yards away, because there's an elevator there, and we had ONE heavy piece of furniture. They were slow and they complained. They finished and left around 1 AM, an 8 or 9 hour move from a NoHo 1 bedroom to Northridge. They put a dent in the wall, gouged my refrigerator on something, plus damage to other pieces of furniture that we discovered while settling in over the next couple weeks. I waited seven years to finish this review hoping to find some objectivity about the experience, but it still makes me angry how much I paid them for their unprofessional service, which by the way was at least a couple hundred more than I was quoted. Maybe they've since fired their terrible workers, maybe they have better standards now... I'll never know, because I would never hire this company again, and would emphatically urge anyone looking for moving services to look elsewhere.
