One of worst medical practices I have ever seen - they are gaming the system by requiring endless hearing tests. Went in for what turned out to be a neuralgia - the first doctor was nice but ineffective and the second (to whom I was switched without being asked) was flat out a jerk - didn't read my file, didn't look at me during appointment and examined me with unsterile instrument he picked up off a table. When he suggested "maybe it's allergies" (for my excruciating pain) and required yet another hearing test, that was it for me. High quality health care is about good doctors and good referrals - these people don't know anything and don't know anybody. read more

My rating is mostly related to the billing team and their communication skills. They only care about money and not helping the patient. Very rude and uncooperative. I was refused to speak directly with the manager of billing or the doctor who treated me. read more

My daughter has been a longtime patient of Dr's Briglia and Liba. We feel truly blessed to have found Bucks ENT. They are always so attentive to her (our) questions and concerns. They are thorough with exams and address her elementary school age questions with answers she can easily process. The front office staff is phenomenal and so incredibly kind. As gatekeepers they have the hardest job to manage a busy office and as a team they work tirelessly to keep the physicians on track and ensure each patient gets treated as a top priority. Decided to ignore the negative reviews and made an appt for my young son (less that 2 years old). He's had ear infections back to back and we couldn't get an earlier appt with my preferred doctor at CHOP. First, had a hard time even finding the office. Then when we entered the waiting room there was an overwhelming amount of others waiting (mid morning). Took all my info to the secretary and she was so fake that it hurt my bones. She was dismissive and quick to have me leave her area. We then get called back by a nurse or tech? Not sure cause she didn't share her name. She asked us a few questions, never showing emotion the whole time After about 30 mins the dr came in. He was the best part about this visit. Took his time, explained a lot and answered my questions. THEN we were sent to scheduling for ear tube placement. We sat in a small room with a computer desk just to wait again for the scheduler. The woman that entered (after a 10 min wait) was distraught, flustered and very unprofessional. She broke many HIPPA laws by yelling out my son's information into the hallways and was severely disrespectful. I left shaking and very upset. I told my son's father about the incident. Then I received numerous calls from said women about how much my son's procedure would cost. I immediately responded that we would not pay $2000 for ear tubes and that we were treated terribly by her and that practice. Haven't heard back at all. read more

No one answered the phone when I called to schedule an appointment then finally someone from billing answers and get me an appointment doesn't even tell me that I need a referral and took my insurance information. When I came to my appointment the doctors wouldn't even see me. When I had discharge from the emergency room. Useless place. Never coming back again read more

Yes, the wait is long. Yes, I had to repeat a few details from the previous appointment to Dr. John Gallagher. However, he was busy during our visit together looking AT ME and talking TO ME - not staring at a laptop or his notes. I felt like he was incredibly thorough. I ended up having minor surgery done for something I had been told would not be covered by insurance by another doctor YEARS ago. You know that feeling when a doctor actually gets what you're saying, does the right tests and has an answer? THAT'S what I experienced with Dr. Gallagher. So - bring a book to the waiting room, and try to remember he's running late because he's answering every patient's questions! read more

If I could rate the practice with zero stars I would. The front desk staff is by far the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered. By phone they are even worse. It seems you, the patient - the one that keeps them employed, is disturbing and interrupting them at whatever they are doing. I also have never had an appointment without considerable wait time. So plan for 30+ mins past your appt. time. While the doctors are thorough and attentive, their "bed side manners" are not great. I have had appts. with two of the doctors and both were less than stellar. Also, stop having a lunch break where the office is closed entirely. Clearly, this would be a great time to catch up on the delays or teach your front desk staff some manners. Not returning to this practice. read more

I made an appointment for my 19 year old daughter. I was told to go online to print the new patient forms and have them completed prior to our visit. Our appointment was for 9:15 am with Dr. Hammer. We arrived at 9:00 am and checked in. We were asked to take a seat. The waiting room was busy. Patient after patient was called back. We continued to wait. At 9:45 am I went to the receptionist to check on when my daughter would be seen. They called her name and we were shown to an exam room. A nurse/tech asked a few question and said the doctor would be in in a moment. Dr. Hammer came in. Didn't introduce himself and proceeded to ask my daughter what brought her in today. She explained and I added some addition concerns. He looked in her ears told her the issue she's having is related to using q-tips and she should stop that and he would prescribe her ear drops. He proceeded to suction the wax from her ears without explaining what he needed her to do. So when she moved he hot annoyed. Dr. Hammers bedside manner was not the best today. The staff just move people in and out and don't seem to worry when a patient has been waiting for 30 minutes. I would not recommend this practice for those reasons. Maybe it was an off day. But first impressions are the most important impressions. read more

A great place for allergy testing & weekly allergy shots. When i worked nearby I popped in every week for an allergy shot during my lunch hour & they always tried to get me in and out quickly - some days it'd cut pretty close, but I'd always get out in time. Danielle who runs the allergy department is awesome & really tries to work with you schedule-wise! I've been seeing Dr. Briglia for 2 years now, and he's great for really listening to your symptoms or concerns -- and he knows your history when he walks into the exam room. Since I started allergy shots my standard 4+ sinus infections a year turned into 1-2 and my daily symptoms are drastically improved, particular in the winter (dust mite allergies, boo!) He's very nice, and no-nonsense without making you feel rushed. Their busy days seem to switch seasonally, but 2 days a week they're always mobbed depending on doctor schedules - so ask on the phone before you make an appointment - the nursing staff there are great, and they'll be able to let you know -- And avoid those days if you can! On a great day you'll be in and out in half a hour! On a bad day... bring a book to read, and hope you don't pick up germs in the jam packed lobby... Excellent plus - they electronically transmit prescriptions to your pharmacy, and print hard copies as well at the front desk -- no more illegible doctors notes/prescriptions! read more

I tried to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Gallagher, due to major pain and hearing loss in my ear. I've been going to him for a little over a year and have been having problems with my ear on-and-off. When I called and asked if he has any availability for today (9/13) or tomorrow, the girl on the phone responded rudely with "his next available appointment is October 23rd." I said even if it's an emergency and she responded rudely again with "his next available appointment is October 23rd." I told her that this is crazy and that I need to find a new office with more accommodating hours, and she said "ok." She could have cared less that this Dr. was losing a patient. This bad review is nothing against Dr. Gallagher, I feel that he was very helpful when I saw him, he listened, helped and gave me options.... But the office staff in general are rude and not friendly and the hours do not accommodate a working person. The hours are 8-4 with a 2 hour lunch break...so I couldn't even go over there on my own lunch break if I wanted to!!! Oh and when you do get an appointment, don't plan on being seen right away, you're there waiting, at the very least, 30 minutes before you are seen! read more

Dr Hammer and Dr. Gallager are the only two ear nose and throat specialists to be able to help me! I've struggled with issues my whole life, but for the past 10 years my sinusitis has been manageable under their care. Wait time in the office is my only complaint. read more

Unfortunately, I did NOT have a good experience with my visit here. I waited an hour to even see the Dr. I felt the staff was rather cold and not caring. Dr. Gallagher was asking me questions that I had literally just answered and I felt he wasn't paying attention when I talked. I had to ask for pain medication and I shouldn't have had to. Update over my last interaction: My wife called in asking about the bill, since we have not received it... and they were still very unhelpful. The person's response to we haven't received it yet was, "I don't understand". The problem with "that" is that the staff doesn't communicate with each other.... at all. So, any issue you may have will persist.... forever. You will never find resolution. It still feels like calling a business and having a 17 year old pick up, but... it's not an inexperienced person on the line, just someone incompetent. In front of you or over the phone they are always rude and slow. My first and second meeting with the doctor we saw was... inhibiting our progress in deducing what was wrong, health wise, with my wife. Checking another office: We went to another ENT in the area, and it was amazing! It was like night and day. They were fast, caring, and responsive. We suggesting to the doctor that we wanted to test more than the immediate area for the problem, and it's a very good thing we did. My wife's issue isn't ENT related, after the ENT test was done, and thanks to this "new" establishment we were able to single that out. So... the moral of the story, do not go to Bucks ENT Associates! Go anywhere else. Honestly, an Arby's manager would show more care, concern, and offer better service than anyone at this practice. read more

Waited over an hour for a twenty second appointment with my four year old. When I questioned the front desk was rudely told to take it up with the dr so I did. When brought up to Dr. Gallagher she too was dismissive and had zero apologies about having us wait an hour. Have been seeing Dr Chack for years. He has stood by me during very difficult times, never giving up on solving my hearing and allergy problems, when other doctors seemed to be going through the steps, he researched my problems and has accomplished our goals...to give me my hearing back and desensitize me to my allergies so that I can function again. I definitely owe so much to Bucks ENT staff and doctors. read more

I was misdiagnosed by Dr.Chack after he spent a total of 5 minutes with me. If it was not for getting a second opinion, I would have gone under the knife for an expensive, invasive and unnecessary surgery. Looking into his record I found he has been sued for malpractice almost every year for the last 10. Going to this office was an encounter with the possibility of a terrible mistake. I recommend very strongly you take your business somewhere far away. read more

The Dr. I saw seemed nice, although my time with him was limited as he was juggling three other patients during my appointment. I'd stay away from this group. read more

Dr. Gallagher is perfectly nice and I was able to get an appt fairly quickly. However after arriving 15 minutes early to make sure I filled out any necessary paperwork, I proceeded to wait in the waiting room for a half hour after my appt time and then another 45 minutes in the examination room once they called me back. They should be respectful of patients time and not schedule so many appts in a day and/or spread them further apart to stay on schedule. After all that wait time you get 5 minutes of face time with the dr! read more

I had been to Bucks ENT about eight years ago for hearing loss. I recently decided to go back because I felt like it was getting worse. They were able to fit me in quickly on a Monday and Dr. sent me for MRI of my head which I scheduled for two days later. I was told Bucks ENT would have my results within 24 to 48 hours. I am coming up on three weeks of no communication from this office. I tried to call three times for my results and was pushed from person to person to person, almost three weeks later and still no contact from this office. I went to the hospital where the MRI was performed and got a copy of my results myself and went over them with my primary care doctor. The results showed nothing wrong which is great, however all they needed to do was to call me back and let me know!! As far as the hearing loss I will be looking to continue to find out what's going on elsewhere. read more

I had a consultation in dec 2012 Dr.Chack spend 5mins in the room with me, he looked up my nose then told me that there was nothing he could say or do till i got a cat scan of my sinus to come back after i got that. three weeks later i got a bill in the mail from bucks ENT . The statement read like this consultation 200.00 Surgery 250.00 Total 450.00 I called Bucks ENT knowing there had to be a mistake because i just went in for consultation the lady in billing told me that he looked up my nose and thats what the charge of 150.00 was for. i told her that i was only there for a consult how was i to know that the doctor looking up my nose was not part of the consultation. i also told her what he said that i have to come back with a cat scan.. she didnt care she just kept telling me that i owed 150.00 or she will sent it to collection.. i couldnt believe it.. 5mins with This doctor and Buck ENT cost me and my insurance company $450.00 lol for nothing.. I am in the process of Reporting them to provider abuse.. I'm just letting you know what happened to me.. hope this helps someone... read more
