Drove to Beloit to visit some friends, and needed an oil change/service. I went to BW just because I have a new Silverado. Called the day before and got an appointment. I was able to just drop it off and picked it up later. Shane was my service rep, he was friendly. I would go back for service again. Side note... the friends we're visiting went there looking for a car for their son. Apparently the sales team there was not friendly or helpful at all. Not only did they not get up from their desk to greet or help them, it was almost too much for them to even look up and have a conversation. read more

I contacted Budweiser Motors because I was having issues with my car on my way home from work. I spoke with Shawn and he allowed me to come in right away to see what the issue was. When I arrived he hooked my car up to get an idea of what was happening. My battery was running at a lower voltage and I chose to get it replaced. While waiting, I called Chevrolet customer service to see if the bumper to bumper warranty covered that, they informed me that it didn't. I ended up paying for the service. After I got home, I got an email from the customer service representative stating the she made a mistake and my battery was covered under that warranty. I proceeded to call Budweiser and Karla answered the call. While speaking with Karla and informing her that I had the bumper to bumper warranty on my car and confirmation from Chevrolet that the battery was supposed to be covered she chose to try to argue that the warranty did not cover this and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. She then told me to forward the email to Budweiser for review and someone would contact me. I did in fact forward that information. Shawn eventually called me back about 30 minutes later and apologized for the mistake of not checking into the warranty while I was there earlier. He told me to come in the following day so he could collect the information he needed off the battery and he was going to have a refund check waiting for me. My truck was in an accident. They partially fixed it. The brakes went out as I drove it off the lot. I took it back to them. The wanted an additional $800 and said it wasn't their fault. They never test drove the vehicle. Their quality is terrible. I will never go back. Do NOT recommend read more

The service here is a joke. No one ever called me back i called maybe 12 times within three days and each time the sales guy stated he was just about to call me. I made an appointment for service on my Equinox after the engine light came on. After no confirmation of the appointment or a return phone after leaving several messages, I did not bring my car in for service. I called on April 1st and spoke to Shane. I explained to him about the missed appointment and told me to bring the car in. I explained to him that the engine light had just come on so I wanted it checked out. The first call from Shane came later that afternoon with the first diagnosis. I needed new timing chains. He also said I needed a new exhaust system. I informed Shane that I did not have the total amount needed to make the fixes. After talking with him, I decided to hold off on the exhaust system and told him I would call him back when I could figure out how to pay for the timing chains. Shane called me back a half hour later and said he got the price down to a third of what was quoted. I agreed to have the work done. I received a phone call the next day from Shane. He said that I needed a new engine. I told him that there was no way I could come up with that amount to fix my car. He asked if I had a warranty for the car I went to the service department first thing the next morning and gave Shane the warranty. He contacted the warranty company. They came out and took pictures and luckily they agreed with your service department and a new engine was ordered. The engine was installed and the timing chains were covered too. On the day I went to pick up my car, it would not start. Shane came out to jump it but that did not work. He brought out Joe, the mechanic who worked on my car. He said it was not battery. The battery was fine. I needed a new starter. He then proceeded to crawl underneath my car with a hammer. He started banging on what I can only assume was the starter. The car would not start. Joe starting laughing at me and said "Betcha didn't think that was going to happen." Shane said he would call the warranty company again and see if they would cover a new starter. I received a call from Shane the next day stating that the starter would be covered. He then told me that while Joe was working on my car he noticed that I needed new brakes. I agreed to have the brakes fixed. I did not receive any paperwork stating that I needed new brakes. The bill did not include the diagnosis. On April 23th, I went to pick up my car. My car was in your service department for 23 days. I now had a new engine, new starter and new brakes. The next day my car would not start and the check engine light was on again. I had to call an Uber to get home. The next morning I called Shane as soon as the service department opened. He said he was 99% sure I needed a new battery. He told me he could send someone out to jump start the car and that was the only thing he could do for me. When I told him I would have to get a ride back to work, he did not offer to have someone come pick me up. I had to call Uber. When I got to work, I decided to call roadside assistance and have them check the battery. When the assistance arrived, he checked the battery and it was fully charged. There was nothing wrong with the battery. Somehow he got the car started and I headed right to your service department. I demanded to talk to the GM and was informed you were out of town. I was directed to the service manager. I was taken back to his office where I feel I was made fun of because I was having all these problems with my car. I was given another loaner car and was told that the service manager would drive my car personally to figure out what was wrong with it. I received a call from Shane stating that there was a problem with the indicator code because of the battery being removed when the new engine went in. He told me the car was ready to be picked up but I told him I would not be picking up the car until Monday, after the service manager could personally drive the car. Shortly after, I received a call from Craig stated he would have my exhaust replaced for a discount. He said he could do this because he was sorry for everything that had gone on since I brought my car in for an engine light warning. Craig called on Monday and explained about the wrong code and that he had driven the car fifty miles and it was working fine. When I arrived to pick up my car, I met with Craig. He informed me that I needed more work done to my car. At this point, your service department had had my car for 27 days. I told him I was not going to have anymore work done. Since picking up my car, I have had problems with it starting on the first try and the engine light is back on. I will not be bringing my car back to your service department. I will never return to your service department. I feel taken advantage of. I could not possibly trust anyone in that department after everything that has happened to me in one month. I have spent every penny I had and I have a car that I do not trust to work anymore. read more

They will not back any preowned vehicle they sell. I owned mine less than 2 years, put 19,000 miles on it. In that time had spent well over $1,000 in mechanical repairs, some of which they performed. Then it jumps the timing chain, which is cheaper to replace the motor. Spoke to a mechanic there and he says they see it a lot with my motor. There was a recall on it, but even after the vehicles were brought back and fixed under the recall, they would still have the same problem. So we look to purchase another vehicle from them. The salesman says "not to worry, they're going to make it right, he's only seen this type of thing happen a couple of times, especially with a GM vehicle." Then comes back and tells me "good news, we're going to give you $200 for your vehicle trade in." I will never buy another vehicle from this place. read more

Great customer service, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience since I leased my Chevy Trax in the beginning of July 2016. I was not able to reach the car pedal due to never driving a SUV before ( I was used to a Volkswagen Beetle and hugging the steering wheel) and my foot was getting shin splints every time I drove. The Budweiser Motors service manager Craig went out of his way to help me solve my problem! He first ordered a handicapped pedal to see if that helped which it did very much but I was still having a problem with reaching the brake so he then went to Woodmans and bought 2 cow mats and cut them the size of my rug so that my foot was higher up and didn't have to extend as far to reach the pedal! I have had no issues since and no shin splints!! Above and beyond customer service and I will recommend Budweiser Motors to everyone! Thank you again Craig and Maci! read more
