    Seafood rice dish
    Joseph K.

Could eat here everyday Such a vast variety of dishes. The soup was so light and refreshing was warmed it would be spicy the heat was the perfect blend with the seafood rice dish I had they complimented each other Such a tiny space. The wait person was shy at first but when I sat and drank and ordered She was so happy and sweet. Another plus to the place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Like I said it's a small space ace perfect for a dinner alone and break from a hard day. A first date or even to try a different culture in food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sound level almost soothing[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check it out in a small diamond in Jackson Heights

I was very sad when I found out that Somg Pong had closed but was excited to try this new restaurant. I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and we both ordered their lunch specials. We ordered a Thai iced tea to share and it was delicious and refreshing. I ordered their Thai mango shrimp bento box which included edamame, vegetable soup and shumai. The shrimp was bland and nothing exciting. The vegetable soup was very tasty. My boyfriend's beef pad Thai was also bland and the noodles were falling apart. I would give this restaurant another opportunity since it is new to see if they heighten the flavors.

    Lychee juice and Chicken Teriyaki.

Service was great, the cashier was very patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant feels very relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed the Teriyaki chicken, the chicken to rice ratio was very pleasing. The added soup and Lychee juice were very good too. The only complaint I have is they went a little overboard with the Teriyaki sauce on the chicken it tasted too sweet sometimes. Ultimately, I recommend this place. I left full.

Worst service ever. Woman at the front couldn't be bothered when I said "excuse me" to ask her for something. She walked right past me and said "it's almost ready" without even facing me to reply rudest person ever.

Both my partner and I have been going to Buddha Asian for quite some time now. We usually come here to get our Thai food fix and the establishment hits the spot every time! Their Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup (my partner likes ordering it, it has a spice kick and the udon tastes delicious) are very appetising and appealing. The service is exceptional and it makes you feel like at home as the place is not that big. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I especially like the ambiance as well as the decor inside is very nicely put together![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Joy is also a great person and she does an amazing job overall!!

Amazing food and service here! The restaurant is small but has very cute decor. The waitress and cook were very accommodating. We wanted to try the steamed buns which came in orders of 2 but we had asked if we can mix them (one red bean steamed bun + one pork steam bun), at first they told us no but the waitress went ahead and asked the cook and he said ok! We definitely appreciated the accommodation and enjoyed eating each steam bun. The crab pad Thai was flavorful and filling. My bf was extremely satisfied with the drunken noodles. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood! They also have lunch specials!

They definitely didn't tell me that lunch specials were available before I ordered my soup. Other than that, everyone is pleasant. Space: they have two sides, so plenty of space, but nights and weekends can get pretty packed, so keep that in mind. Food: I ordered Tom Yum soup and a lunch drunken noodle with a Thai iced tea. I only had the soup there and took the entire lunch special to go. Just based off of the soup, I will be going back. It was delicious and PACKED to the MAX! Writing this now, I can still imagine. Drunken Noodles were also really tasty. I like mine spicy and it could have been made spicier, but that's not even a real complaint. Also- the one next to me had this dish which reminded me of pad see ew but in a gravy. Looked delicious!! I will be back for whatever she had. Overall: the entire block is like a little Thai street. There are lots of Thai food options and I finally made it to Ayada. Super happy with my meal and excited to go back with some people and enjoy.

There were a few tables seated but it was a bit dead ( then again, it was around 4:30 so it was between lunchtime and dinner). The price felt decent and comparable to elsewhere. The pad kee mao was okay as I never had it before but I do feel like it was a bit too heavy on the dark soy and molasses sweetness. It wasn't overbearingly strong but it was a bit more than I would've liked. The BBQ pork was pretty good. It had a good amount of fat and was nice and tender. It also had that BBQ char making it very enjoyable

When I saw that it was AYCE Thai food AND sushi?! I was sold. Everything was spectacular from start to finish. We started with the pompano fish with mango salad & the Tom Yum Kung. The fish was crispy and the mango salad was so flavorful. I was impressed with the giant prawns in the soup. Already we were half full finishing the main entrees. For the buffet options, we ordered salmon sashimi, seafood pad see ew, Moo Ping Thai bbq pork, and Nur Yang steak. I would devour everything again except for the steak, which I found bland and not tasty. Overall service was A++. The music playing was fun. Surf & turf skewers: My least favorite dish of the night. I found most of the skewers a bit dry. Larb beef & tripe: the Larb was super flavorful and delicious. We got a side of sticky rice as well and it paired really nicely together. Crab fried rice: Generous amount of crab and nice wok hay. The rice also had a nice chew to it that I enjoyed. Salt encrusted tilapia: I wish there was a bigger vermicelli noodle portion on the side but I really liked the tilapia. It was perfectly cooked and fell off the bone and the sauce complemented it perfectly. Don't forget to remove the salt crust!

The steak was the only dish that showed any sign of life. Everything else tasted as if it had been rinsed with water before being served--completely stripped of seasoning, aroma, and any trace of authentic Thai flavor. It's astonishing that a restaurant with such a strong reputation could produce food that's less flavorful than the faux Thai takeout spots tucked inside Chinese restaurants off the Ohio Turnpike. That's not an exaggeration. What's even more baffling is the location. In the heart of Queens, surrounded by Thai restaurants serving bold, vibrant, unapologetically flavorful food, Zaab Zaab somehow manages to be a culinary desert. The fried rice was bland, the drunken noodles were lifeless, and the pad kra pao lacked the punch, basil, heat, and savoriness that define the dish. It honestly felt as though the menu had been engineered for diners who think black pepper is adventurous. Instead of authentic Thai flavors, everything seemed toned down to the point of being unrecognizable. For a restaurant with this reputation, the meal was a massive letdown. There are countless nearby Thai restaurants that deliver the bold, aromatic flavors Thailand is known for. Save your money and your appetite for one of them.

This spot is a 3-table operation focused entirely on perfecting Thai chicken rice--and they nailed it. The move here: The Chicken: Poached to absolute perfection. Tender, juicy, no fluff. The MVP: The chicken heart. It was so good I had to double down and order a second round. If you know, you know. The Rice: Fragrant ginger rice that actually has flavor, paired with a radish broth that hits the spot. The Sauce Science: They let you mix your own. I went with the soybean paste + ginger-scallion combo. It's addictive. Do not skip the ginger-scallion. Washed it all down with a solid Thai tea to balance the heat. I am always a fan of these hyper specialist places because I figure if you only sell one dish it must be really good. The chicken is tender yet light on flavor, so the included sauces (one soy based and one chili sauce) are a must. However the rice was delicious and fragrant, a complementary pairing to the chicken. They also included some chicken gizzards and liver if you are a fan of those, but for me I could do with or without. Overall a solid place and worth a repeat visit in my book.
