Ii had my nose pierced. Everything from making the appointment to getting the piercing was EXCELLENT‼ Derek was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING‼ He is a professional and knows his stuff! From the moment I walked through the door he greeted me and treated me with kindness and care. He also did the same with every customer whether on the phone or there in person. The place was very clean and Derek made sure everything was sanitized before he pierced my nose. He talked to me about every detail, asking me questions and answering my questions before starting. He helped me pick the jewelry for the look I was going for and he made sure placement was perfect and I was happy with it. He explained every step he was doing as he went along. He also made sure to explain aftercare and gave me written aftercare instructions as well as exactly what gauge and jewelry he pierced me with since I live 5 hours away. I didn't feel rushed at all even though he had other customers waiting he took the time with me to make sure everything was perfect from beginning to end. I went to Buddah Box a few weeks ago and had my first tattoo done by Felipe. One of my first impressions with the studio was that it was insanely clean and carried a good vibe. Everyone was inviting as well as professional. When i looked up this place i was under the impression that it was geared more towards piercings because of the reviews. I was alittle nervous it being my first tattoo and all and i want sure how i would handle it. But Felipe took good care of me he answered all of my questions even the stupid ones. I never once felt rushed or felt like he didnt hear what i had to say, he took everything i had to say under consideration. My daughter asked to get her nose pierced for her birthday. As a mom I'm insanely critical of shops and artists. She's my kid and I don't want her to have a bad experience or leave with a bad piercing. We scheduled same day for her to get a nostril piercing with Erin and for me to get a daith done by Derek. Erin was patient with my daughter. She went over all the important aftercare instructions. She carefully measured and placed the piercing location while considering what type of jewelry my daughter wants to wear in the future. According to my daughter the piercing was much less painful than she expected. When Derek did my daith he was great again at placement and explaining everything. I walked in today for a nose piercing, this was my first facial piercing and this place was absolutely perfect. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and immediately helped with. I only waited about 20 minutes because someone had an appointment so Derek was with them first. Derek introduced himself to me and was so nice and helpful during the process. He carefully explained what he was gonna do, the proper cleaning solutions and made sure I was comfortable. It might just be my pain tolerance but my ear piercings hurt more than this. Fantastic customer / client service! I came to their website looking for some new jewelry and found so many amazing pieces! I went to get pierced last night. I got both nipples done. Derek was so amazing. His whole demeanor was calm and really helped put me at ease. I was so comfortable around him. My husband was there as well and thought he was great. He explained everything thoroughly. I could literally listen to him talk about piercing forever. I got some history on d-ring jewelry. So interesting. It was a great appointment. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I will be going back to ask about getting my cartilage redone in the future. Exceptional service! I took my teen to get his ears pierced yesterday. The lady at the front desk (I wish I had asked her her name!) was professional, extremely informative, and very, very nice. My son's piercer Brandon was all of the above plus very, very patient (my son couldn't make up his mind about the various styles). They both answered all of our many questions, gave great instructions - including aftercare instructions. The facility was very comfortable. It was roomy and very clean. I went in to get my septum pierced. I made an appointment with Derek the night before. he was very accommodating, informative and reassuring with my requests. He made sure that I knew what i was getting and the steps necessary to maintain my piercing before he went on with the procedure. Even though i am deathly afraid of needles, not once did i feel unsafe or extremely anxious, Derek was cool, calm and collected though the entire time. Fairly new to the area, I took a leap of faith and drove from Boerne to Buddha Box Studios. This has to be one of the cleanest and most professional looking Studios I have ever seen. I went in for an ear piercing and Derek is very fastidious and overly sanitary. I have been in hospitals that were less sterile. LOL. We went twice to another tattoo studio and they messed up big time causing an infection and rejection of the implant, but Tattoo Maze was amazing. He was able to place the dermal in no time at all and even switch out jewelry on the others to match. They had a great selection to choose from too which was nice for a change. We will definitely go back for the next one, and I may even drop in for a tattoo because they were very friendly and professional with excellent portfolios.
