After checking out 3 separate jewelers in the area, I came across this place. Upon entry I noticed a difference from the other spots which set them apart: Attention to detail, level of care, and a sense of personability. I met Moses himself at the first visit to the store and got the rundown on his history running the jewelry store. That along with the 3 points above made me feel like I made the right decision. They are able to create a render along with a 3D wax figure to make damn sure the ring you want is the ring that you get. Moses and his team were with me along the process. They even overnight shipped the ring to California and delivered on time! Moses himself had promised alterations if the ring was not "perfect" and delivered that promise. Not long after, my fiancé began planning and designing my engagement ring with Moses. Once my fiancé proposed with the most gorgeous ring I have ever laid eyes on, I realized it was a little too big. We brought it in, and less than 24 hours later, Moses and his team had resized it and it was ready to go! I am still in awe of how comfortable this piece is and how much thought went into it. From making sure it wouldn't catch on my hair and clothing to making sure it was as low as possible while still allowing a wedding band (which we will also have designed with Moses!!) to sit flush against it. CAUTION! Do not trust them with your jewelry. I recently visited the store located at 7010 W. Loop 1604 N. to have a couple pairs of earrings repaired and to sell the gold from a large amount of jewelry including various earrings, rings and bracelet. The store manager, assisted me and tested and weighed each piece. We then came to an agreement on the sale value of the gold with the understanding that all of the stones would be returned to me. In later reviewing the work order there were pictures included of the earrings to be repaired but the gold exchange contained no photographs nor detailed descriptions of the individual items but only stated "Gold Buy: Remove Stones". Included in the jewelry exchanged was my white gold / diamond wedding set (engagement ring and wedding band) that had been soldered together which was previously owned by and handed down to me by my mother-in-law and grandmother to my children. This was not only the most valuable piece of jewelry in the bunch but also the only one that had sentimental value attached. My wedding set consisted of 2 white gold diamond rings (engagement and wedding band) that were soldered together. The engagement ring consisted of 1 large round diamond and 6 smaller round side diamonds. The wedding band consisted of 7 round stones being the same size as the side diamonds in the engagement ring. When I arrived to pick up the repaired earrings and stones from the gold trade, many of the stones from the gold sale were returned to me. However NONE of the stones from the wedding set were included. I brought this to the attention of your clerk and was informed that the rings were probably just separated from the group and would be found and returned. After receiving a text message that stones were ready for pickup I returned to the store to retrieve the stones. The stones from a bracelet that I exchanged were given to me. However, once again, the stones from the wedding set were not included. At this time, I became greatly concerned that my stones may have been lost. The store manager came to the counter to assist the clerk that was helping me and created a new work ticket to find the missing rings and stones and assured me that she would be going to the Stone Oak location to find them personally. She then asked me for a photograph of the rings as she had not taken one at the time of the exchange. I asked if she could review the security cameras to see the precise ring and she informed me that she would do so. I was later informed by her that the quality of the cameras was not good enough to see the rings which I find difficult to believe. I received another text notification that the "stone" (singular) was ready. I called the store and inquired about the stones as the message received only made mention of a singular stone. I was told that there were multiple stones and that they had found the ring. I returned once again to the store and was given only 3 stones, (1 large round diamond and 2 small marquis stones). I informed the clerk that they were not my stones, the store manager again joined the conversation and rudely insisted that they were my stones though I had told her that I have never owned marquis stones and that there were considerably more stones in my set. She again insisted they were correct and offered no further assistance in the matter. I did not take the stones that they offered as they did not belong to me and in hopes that they would continue looking for my set. After a couple weeks went by, after receiving no further communication from them, I returned to the store and picked up what they (incorrectly) claimed to be my stones and was told by the store clerk that the store manager insists that any further communication would need to be in writing. I sent an email with my concerns and requested further investigation but received no response. I then sent a certified letter with the same and again, after weeks, have received no response at all. I would certainly not recommend Moses Jewelers but if you do plan to do business with this company, be sure to take photographs of all pieces and INSIST that they do the same. read more

Long story, short... Moses Jewelry is non-responsive, unhelpful, and cut throat. While I was able to talk to the store manager on the phone, emails sent to Moses Rodriguez/owner on 5/27/26 and 6/4/26, (to their email address stoneoak@mdesigngroup.net as shown on their website), have gone unanswered as of 6/12/26. My financially-destitute son sold my Breitling watch, that I had given him for Christmas, to Moses Jewelry for $1500 and they now have it listed for $5800 in the store. Since the watch means a lot to me, after I learned of my son doing this, I called Moses Jewelry to try to buy it back, explaining the situation to them on my phone call and emails. I offered $2000 and the best they said they'd do was $5200. While my son and I bear responsibility for this bad situation, Moses could have shown some empathy and helped me out. But the manager's refusal to be reasonable, and the owner's not responding to my emails, seem to be an indication of how they choose to conduct business. At this point, all I can say is beware of these folks! read more

My fiancé has family members who frequent this establishment for life milestones (ex. Anniversaries, engagement rings, valentines gifts, etc.) When my fiancé decided to create my engagement ring through this location, I had no idea (obviously). Since I have received my ring, I have had to have it altered on several occasions (not due to their lack of professionalism, simply due to user-error). Clarence has specifically been our usual contact. Not on purpose. He's simply there every time we come by. He is ALWAYS PATIENT, and accommodating, EVERY TIME we visit. He is amazing and I hope whoever reads this review, has the opportunity to meet him in person. We went to pick up my ring surprisingly on a day that Clarence wasn't working, and Ray aided us. I have been married for 19 years and unfortunately never had my ring looked at in all those years. Recently, Moses Jewelers opened off 1604 between Culebra and Shaenfield. I had never heard of them before but I really needed my ring sized. So I took a chance and went in. I quickly found out that they have been around for years in the Stone Oak area and this is just a new location. I went to their Yelp reviews immediately and saw that they had lots of positive reviews. Now that my mind was put to rest, I went in and asked about ring sizing. I was a bit nervous about how much it was going to cost but even that wasn't terrible. I know pricing is completely subjective so what they quoted me to size my engagement ring, and rhodium plate it along with my wedding band so that they would match worked for me. The only small issue which they resolved immediately was it being ready when I was told it would be ready. I went in on a Saturday, and was told that it would take 4-5 days for my rings to be ready. So when 5 days had come and gone and we were now on 7 days I called the store. The lady on the phone told me that my rings would not be ready for another couple of days which means that they would have had my rings for 9 days by the time they were ready. I expressed my frustration to the lady on the phone and explained to her that I was told 4-5 days. She told me that they normally tell customers 5-7 days which even with that we would have been past the time based on when my rings were brought in. She told me she was going to see what she could do because I explained to her that I would not be able to pick up my rings until the following weekend which means that they would have had my jewelry for 2 weeks by the time I was able to pick them up. She asked me if she could call me back and I agreed. 10 minutes later she called and said that the jeweler was on the premises and he was going to take care of my rings same day to resolve the issue. The fact that they did what they could to resolve the issue meant alot to me and I really appreciated it. About 2 hours later they called to tell me my ring were ready and I went to pick them up. Not only did they size my rings, but they replated them and polished them to make them look brand new. They also made sure the prongs were in good condition. I couldn't be happier and they redeemed themselves by reaolving the issue. I will definitely be taking some other jewelry to them for both repair and appraisals. You won't be disappointed! read more

I came here wanting to reset my grandmother's diamond ring in a whole new, more wearable for everyday type-design, while also re-using the gold in the new ring, to preserve the sentimental value of it. I was helped by Cynthia when I walked in, and I was able to speak to Joey, the designer, about what I wanted and also showed him pictures of what I had in mind. They gave me an estimate, and also said if I was looking for something in a different price range, they could definitely accommodate that. The rendering of the ring took about a week, and once I approved it, the rest of the process took place! I picked up my ring maybe a week and a half or so after approval of the rendering and couldn't be happier with the finished result. I love my ring and I also love that my grandmother's ring is more suitable for everyday wear! Before, it was more like an engagement-style ring, and to me, it just looked "off-balance" as I have my own engagement ring already. The customer service here is amazing, and I got calls from Cynthia or Oscar throughout the whole process of making my ring. TL;DR: I highly would recommend getting any engagement ring or custom jewelry shopping done here. The staff/designer are unmatched and treat you with dignity and respect. They work with you very well to get the final product you were thinking of. 4.7/5. If there was a 0.7, I would give Moses Jewelers a solid 4.7 stars. I was in the market for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I had actually gone to another nearby ring store first (it had a higher rating) and was unimpressed with the customer service. I saw that Moses Jewelers was basically down the street, so I thought I would check them out. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a welcome and asked "how can I help you?" Who knew such a basic statement would make me feel like this was the right place to get the engagement ring? I had a basic ring design in my head, but have no artistic talent so I couldn't draw it out and bring it to them. That didn't matter to the designer (Joey). He listened to what specifications and design I was thinking about and did his magic. He really took the time to hear and understand what I wanted. It took a few weeks because of the back-and-forth of reviewing the initial ring design, making edits, (also it was during the holiday season) and approving the final design. I was not in a rush so it did not concern me too much. The final product turned out better than what I expected! I am truly grateful for the work and help Moses Jewelers provided me. The prices were very reasonable as well. I ended up being under my budget, which was great for me. Also, being able to pay for your ring in increments really helped lessen the financial burden. You pay as you go through each process e.g. deposit before the design process, deposit after the design process, and final deposit once the ring is complete. The only improve I have of my experience is status updates. During the design process, I constantly got updates on where my ring was in the design process. I felt that after the design was approved, I had to call/text to see where in the process my ring was. Not a huge deal since I knew I had plenty of time before I had planned on proposing. Still, it would be nice to be updated on the ring status after the design process was done. For example, once the design was approved, a few days later it would have been nice to hear "your ring is being molded today" or something to that effect. I am at fault a little bit as well, however, because I had failed to check my voicemail. (oops). They did call me when the ring was complete, but I had missed that call and didnt check until almost a week later. A text message would be better though... That would be the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. A 4.7 is still a great rating because it was an overall great experience. Thanks Moses Jewelers! read more

Yesterday was the 4th time in the past couple of years that I went to Moses Jewelers to get some of my jewelry reset or fixed. I went to get my wedding band dipped because, over the years, I have developed a preference for white gold. My late husband had given me the wedding band over 30 years ago and, although I was told that some of the diamonds had cracked, I opted to just leave them in the band rather than recast the ring and replace the diamonds. The staff has always treated me professionally and is friendly. They listen to what I need and respectfully respect my wishes. They have beautiful jewelry and the store is very clean. If you don't know your jewelry and are looking for a good price don't come here. I had a diamond ring that was $16k and brought it here to see what they would offer, the girl that helped me offered us $300!!! We laughed and said how did you get that price if the ring value paid was 16k and our certificate appraised value to resale was valued 12k? She said she based it off the weight of the carat and and that's it. Unfortunately she didn't know I had the appraisal and GIA certificate with me and when I showed it to her (the appraisal not the certificate) she was not sure how to explain how she gave us that price, other than saying our ring is not a market ring! The ring we have is a Crown of Light cut and is an expensive rare cut! We also took a Tag Heuer watch worth about 2k but said they wouldn't buy it but would sale it for us? Know she acknowledged the ring is worth something but wouldn't buy it! But she was really to give us $300 for a diamond ring that wasn't worth anything? read more

I had a Christian Dior 18k diamond melee pendant repaired, plated and polished. I had 5 diamond and platinum studs polished and inspected. The customer service and workmanship were superb. The prices were very reasonable. The work only took a few hours. My pieces look brand spanking new! I trust them because they took the time to measure, inspect and provide a detailed description of the 15 certified diamonds I left in their care.
