After a somewhat exhaustive search for just the right horologist, I came across Mr. Simon for a Rolex repair. I'd installed a sapphire crystal on the watch -- it normally uses an acrylic one -- but it interfered with the watch movement and my ability to secure the movement to the case. I couldn't figure out why so I brought the watch to Mr. Simon. Experience counts. He found the issue, rectified it and when I received the watch back, not only did it "run like a swiss watch", but cosmetically it appeared cleaner. Mr. Simon defines the word professional and hands down, I would trust him with ANY make or model of precision timepiece. His pricing is also more than fair. After reading all these reviews I had to meet Phillip! You all were right! He is so great! So kind! I have been dreading getting batteries for three of my watches because I thought it was going to cost me a fortune. I took them to him based on everyone else's reviews and they were spot on! All three of my watches are working and it didn't cost near as much as I thought. He told me he would have given me a deal but because my watches were so tight and they were giving him trouble he had to charge me. I totally understood and didn't question it. When he told me the price I honestly still thought it was a great deal and couldn't believe it could have been cheaper. I truly enjoyed meeting him and watching him work. He also does jewelry repair which has me excited to take my diamond ring to him to possibly be resized and reshanked. Parking was a little interesting in the middle of the day. The lots were full and expect to pay anywhere from $3-$10 depending on where you park.
