It's just OK. I come here because I live nearby, it's quick & convenient. So I come in maybe once every 2 or 3 months. The last 2 times I came here they had an attendent standing outside their gates/automated machines & they call themselves "helping". YEAH I DON'T LIKE IT!!!! This strange person reaches for my credit card, I looked at him like he was crazy & advised him I GOT THIS!!! Ummmm I'm not handing my credit/debit cards to this creep weirdo!!!! So on the last visit there I asked the other dude standing at the guy why do they have you guys hanging around where people are paying?? I am a bit surprised by the average rating given the stream of cars every time I stop over. It is a go-to for me largely because it is super close to the highway entrance/exit and is down the street from Target. The car wash pricing start at $4, towel drying service is an add'l $2, vacuums are free and machines accept both cash and credit cards. The location makes this place extra special and the other offerings pretty much mirror what is offered at other similarly situated car washes. However, a cute thank you sign with lighting scrolls on your windshield during the wash. IMO, it is a nice touch. read more

I believe it was a hand car wash at this exact location for over 10 years. I only mention it because I never once used it. On the other hand I only washed my car maybe 3x last year so..... This one has been open about two month I've been to this one about 20x so far (that'll teach you to give me a 30 day pass when I live two blocks away) Call me cheap, but I was originally expecting for this to be a $3 car wash but I desist. $3.99 for Lite Wash $6 for Plus Wash (soap and power rinse) $10 for Deluxe Wash (plus wash + rain shield/tire shine) $20 for 30 day Plus Wash $25 for 30 day Deluxe Wash Free Vacuum As far as the service go I think you get a towel dry for like $2 and some other services done for under $5 (the car wash is 2 blocks away from 290. seeing how 80% of the time I'm getting on 290 ...free hand (air) wash for me.) I would give five stars, but sometimes I get different results........I have the 30 day Deluxe Wash. I've notice when entering at the start of the wash SOME of the employees brush the front and back of your car and some don't (I have no idea what this is they are actually doing but the employee's that perform this task only do so for those getting deluxe car wash. (I assume whipping either the license plates or the bumper of the car) either way not all of them perform the task. so not fully get my money's worth....okay I am sort of am since I'm there all the time lol but you know what I mean.) read more

I went and got the wash plus and my car still had soap on it after being sprayed down and dried. My car was still dirty in some spots and my window has a smug on them like grease I'm still trying to get off. I wouldn't recommend this car wash to anyone. read more

The sign states the car wash is $3.99, the machine will not give you the correct change. A penny may not seem much. Do the math. If they manage to make an extra $20. a day. $20 X 365(days) = $7,300. a year that the car wash owner is pocketing tax "FREE". If the owner has multiple locations multiply the locations as well. Plus the basic wash is horrible had soap left all over the car, the dryer fans did not blow air hard enough because they want to sell you the towel dry service ($2) read more

A decent car wash for the money. I have the Deluxe monthly plan that supposedly cleans your tires and rims but I beg to differ. My solution is to spray some wheel cleaner on my tires and rims beforehand and still I have to use a towel to wipe off the grime. I really hope that they fix this issue. read more

It was a nice day on March 1 around 6pm, and see as though I had a month pass for a wash I decided to stop. The car wash was busy, but not as busy as I expected it to be. They were packing the cars in pretty close, and the car the was ahead of my car stepped on the breaks while my car was still moving, and that pushed me into the car ahead of me. The assembly of cars didn't stop until after the damage was already done. The owner was suppose to call me on Monday to discuss the damage done to my vehicle, and I still haven't received a call. I come here mainly to support the business in the neighborhood, but today I went because I needed a quick wash and was passing through. This one guy that works there completely disregards my car. And wouldn't let anyone else dry my car or give it wheel treatment. He isn't the manager just a regular "employee" drying cars for a living. Went to the Bellwood location around 8:30. Paid for my wash - $10. Pulled up to the entrance, but no attendant was there. Waited for about 5 mins. Thought that maybe they don't have them anymore, so proceeded. This made me forget my retractable antenna - $50 part. Got down to the wheel polisher, and felt a firm bump on my passenger side. Two spots of my finish ground COMPLETELY OFF. Must have been too far to the right. - $100 wheel refinishing. Lo and behold, finally found the attendant, guiding in another car. Said what happened and he told me to call the number on the receipt. To top it off, when I tired to leave, the gates were two-thirds closed and there were two large barrels blocking the exit. I asked another attendant (who was chatting up a girl) if they can let me out, he told me I "had to move the barrels". I said "I have to?" he said yes. I moved the barrels, opened the gate and left. The wash turned out good. Very little access water and a nice, even spray wax coat. The free vacuums are strong. Also, it's at a great location right off I290 In sum, a good wash in a convenient location. But I would only recommend if you can afford the $150 dollar incompetence fee. read more

Not only are the vacuums free, but they are super powerful. $10 wash worked great for me. No damage to my car, as I've read in other reviews. Attendants were nice and not overbearing at all. So beyond disturbed right now I literally never pay for dry towel and the one day I get them to dry my car bc the 2 car washes (i got the month long service where you can wash your car every day of the month if you want and the first was u get you have to go through twice to make sure it works ) I got weren't enough to wash away bird poop on my windshield so I I paid $10 more ($15 with tip) to do everything the sign they have at the end of the car wash tunnel... I thought the man was just being friendly and making conversation esp when i just tipped him 50% and he Just thought it was appropriate to ask for my name and number... I didn't appreciate that at all.. and he just made his company look worse bc I don't think this sort of behavior is acceptable... sucks bc the overall service is good but they just lost a few customers to this lack of respect read more

Was a frequent customer of buddy bear paid monthly out of my bank account, moved and no longer used buddy bear's service's been trying to get them to stop the auto monthly pay out of my account with no luck! Ran car washes for 10 years. Actually at there location on Mannheim. Bought the unlimited deluxe washes for 20 bucks. Very inconsistent! Sometimes they brush the front and back of vehicle. Sometimes they don't. If you choose not to have it dried off get ready for massive spots. When they are busy they don't turn down there chemicals so they are putting way to much drying agent on vehicle and causing windows to be very greasy and streaky (I only have this problem when they are very busy). Why they would put the entrance and exit in the same place confuses me. Absolutely no place to detail your car by yourself. Tried getting it dried off by hand. It was very cold didn't want it to freeze. Asked the attendant to wipe off door jams. He told me he couldn't do it because that is considered the inside of the car. WHAT! Went around the block saw the same attendant wiping the door jam on another car. Delta Sonic is a 100% better and more consistent in what they do. There service is way below standards I give that a 1. As a person who is experienced in running successful car washes you as the consumer can do much better. I have attempted to consult with there managers they implied they didn't care. read more
