I'm really disappointed with the service I received at Delta Sonic. My car was not cleaned properly -- I had to point out multiple areas they missed, including spots they didn't vacuum at all. As you can see in these photos, dirt and debris were still left behind, until I pointed it out. And my windows are still dirty. To make matters worse, one of the employees told me they close at 6, so they rushed through my car instead of taking the time to do the job right. That's unacceptable, especially for the price they charge. I'm seriously considering asking for a refund because this was nowhere near the level of service I expected. read more

They recently damaged my car on the interior during a routine interior cleanup. They were nice enough to point it out and then they started a claim. Now their insurance division is treating me like an absolute piece of crap. My car has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks. First they made a mistake about what part was damaged. Then they realized that but when they found out the price to fix it they sait "it may not be covered". That they were originally doing this as a "courtesy". They were trying to back out of making this right. Now they say they want me to get an estimate to get a cosmetic repair instead of replacing the damaged part. I never expected this from Delta Sonic. We have been members for years across multiple vehicles and mulitple households of my family for years. This is a shame. read more

I've been a loyal member since the wash was 12.99 a month. Once they did try to clean up the whole carut now, the say they can no lo her do the rims because they take too long. How do you have a monthly membership and interior membership and have dirty rims?? Why pay 65.00 a month and still have dirty rims? Price increases now telling me I'm about to pay almost double of what I was paying so yea time to cancel

I had been a loyal customer for years. On August 1st, my credit card was charged for two automobiles for the month of August. Just a few days later, the Elmwood Park location--the only one near me--was closed for repairs. When I called customer service for clarification and a refund, I was told the location would be closed until November. I requested a refund for both charges, but the representative initially said only one would be refunded since I used the service on August 2nd. I explained that it's unreasonable to charge for a monthly service when it is only available for a few days. The rep eventually agreed and assured me that both charges would be reimbursed. However, my card has still not been credited. This is highly unethical business conduct. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and notifying state authorities. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. read more

It's great carwash. The road salt and dirt were magically erased. Even my wheels were brand new looking. There is a price special going on for 6 months I pay for the lower wash and get the premium. Unlimited washes, once I noticed a salt stain after the wash while getting gas. I just went through a second time, no problem. read more

Poor customer service. All three of my cars have been located at Melrose Park location as we live in Oak Park. The very first time my wife signed up for the service it was, by happenstance in Naperville, yet Delta Sonic acknowledged that the car has almost always been serviced at Melrose and that the other two cars are registered at Melrose. Yet, she did not get the Melrose discount because she was registered in Naperville. The customer service gave me a one month exception, but would not budge otherwise even though they could clearly see the cars all belonged to Melrose. I loved going to this car wash once a week or every other week, but my prove kept Inceasing so I had to cancel. They told me it increased because the amount of times I use the services, which is false because my mom goes the same amount of times as I was going and has paid under $25 for years now. They asked me what my mom's key tag was so they could check her plan. Obviously I know I her plan and wasn't going to give her info and risk her price being increased. Sucks that you can't use the was more than 3 or 4 times a month without risking a price increase. The actually wash was great though. EDIT: Thanks for the response. Alex G. did a phenomenal job on my car! I went to get it detailed because... let's say my car has seen better days lol. Between me and my busy toddler, the inside was totally neglected. I choose the 'Express Interior Package' and a wax for the exterior. Once Alex G. gave me the keys, it felt like I was driving off in a brand new car! I Have done that number of times. And I go back through there over and over and over again. I asked them why is it? I have to keep coming through here? They dry my car with a greasy rag or towel. But they drive the current front. Then I tip them Three dollars or five dollars. If I have a detailed which is another $39 and some change, I tip the person who cleaned the car at least $10! And to have a manager come out every time. I come through there, that's a waste of my time. I'm paying either $50 for a car wash. Or I'll be paying $49 to clean the car out. And it's not dirty inside. Just need a vacuum and wipe down. And clean my Mat.. I have even gone up there when they were slow or not busy and I get the same thing.  I have decided to take my business somewhere else. I even had a friend to join delta sonic and and I had to go back up there with her for the same reason. She has a mini van. I  asked for the Manager He came and assisted us. I think she spent like a $100 on her car. She hasn't been back since either. I was built for the month of october. So I went on October 8th, I didn't like it so I went again on the 9th I talked to the girl in the booth and told her what the problem was. She said that a manager would meet me at the end that didn't happen. I spoke to a manager on the eighth and told him the same thing. He just apologized for the work. That wasn't done properly and told me I can go through again. I told him I have unlimited car wash so I was gonna go through as many times it take to get a clean. I tips for the re-washs were not given. They didn't show any concern. I then drove home and left my car in the garage. If you were to look at it, you would tell me. You know I never write reviews because that takes time out of my day, but I've had it with this place. I went once, paid $55, to get interior and exterior. Dust on my dash, center console not clean, leaves still on my floor, mud on the floor. That made me frustrated. I went back today just to give them another chance and here we are again, same issues. Car does not feel clean. It is not worth it to get a car wash, do not waste your time!!! Employees are very friendly. They should just stick to their customer service and gas prices. I've been using this car wash for quite some time and I want to highlight just some of the issues I've had over that time firstly, with the with the super kiss plus package which is 20 bucks a month. Usually the car is always left with streaks on the glass and the tire shine machine has not been working properly for months leaving brown slime slime that you'll have to clean off yourself as well as there's issues with the detailing service today I went in and I paid $140 for a detail after they left streaks on practically every piece of glass watermarks on most of the body and a brand new scratch the quality of the general car wash is OK I would recommend taking your car to a professional for detailing read more

After hand washing, the best automatic way to take care of your car and keep it looking good is Delta Sonic. Undercarriage wash is a serious plus in a winter climate where the roads are salted. I don't find the detailing service to be a good value, but everything else about this place is quite nice and unlike some of the other reviewers, I find the car wash to be excellent. Got a quick and easy car wash for $7. Bit of a wait to get started, but they had 2 lanes open and the workers got us through in an efficient manner. There is a towel dry station, optional, afterwards, but I skipped that. Place was super, super crowded on Saturday, but it was a rare warm day in February so I think everyone was getting a car wash!! If I could give them a zero rating I would. We took our car to be cleaned and the machine damaged the car paint job. We submitted the claim and OF COURSE they deny it saying they "reviewed pre wash video" which was not sent and that the damage was already there which is a lie. I will never ever go to any delta sonics again and I will make sure everyone I know doesn't go to these places. We have all our cars in Delta Sonic, some of them both interior and exterior some of them exterior only . Usually service is ok but when it is bad it is baaaad. Last time I stuck in the lane locked into my car underneath those crazy fans. It scared me a lot. Sometimes you can have great group of people, that is fast and neat when it comes to cleaning interior of your car . But sometimes you need to run twice through everything bc your car will not be clean. Customer service is always good. read more

I had the best experience today at Delta Sonic. My car had a fungus stain on two parts of the body, and no one knew what it was or how to remove it. I spoke with the supervisor, Questar, and he scrubbed my car with special powder, put my car through the wash twice and finally was able to remove the stain. He was such a professional, and he aimed to please. Furthermore, I have a disability, and he walked me to the waiting room and made sure that I was comfortable. The detail gives one the option on what fragrance wanted in the detailing; I chose 'new car."
