This is may be a small shop, but it's as solid a service center as you will find. I noticed a complaint review about not being able to reach them by phone. At the current time it is primarily a one person operation, getting additional help when he can. Answering the phone is simply not feasible at this time, this is first come, first serve. The level of service, is evident by the constant queue of customers. You will get an honest estimate, of what needs to be replaced and what can wait if you so choose. Absolutely amazing! I received a quote for $425 from Firestone to change my muffler because they said I needed a new one after I bottomed out my car on a train track bump in the road. Then I called Buddy's and they said it would cost a quarter of that price. I went in with my 2015 Silverado to have a duel exhaust installed. The service was good and I was really happy until I got home in looked closer at the work. The welds are horrible. There were spots completely burned through in other places where the weld line wasn't even straight or holding anything together bubbles and cracks. I watched them weld from a distance and half the time they weren't even using the welding shield tjust closing their eyes and going for it. read more

I was searching online for the best deal to get a muffler installed on my car. The former owner thought it would sound "cool" if they removed the exhaust and catalytic converter COMPLETELY. Well, cool wasn't the term that I would use to describe it. Maybe wet the bed loud or maybe slightly louder than front row at a rock concert. Called to get a price and he beat everyone. When I arrived, he took one look at my situation and offered me an even lower price!!! When does that happen EVER!?! In about an hour, I was on my way. I couldn't recommend Buddy's enough. These guys do great work. I was very indecisive on exactly what I was looking for but the installer went out of his way to hook up the 2 different mufflers to demonstrate the different sounds. Even more so, they actually swapped out the muffler the next day after I thought the one I originally had was too loud for my liking. read more

It started out by me making an appointment to another shop that day. The shop, unfortunately, was unable to do the work so I decided to stop by this place since it was only 5 minutes away. I was persistent to not return home until the exhaust system was taken care of. Buddy came out of the work bay and greeted me upon my arrival. Surprisingly, I actually knew him from another muffler shop nearby. He has personally worked on 3 of my previous cars. We talked for a bit and he assured me that it wouldn't be an issue. Come to find out, the muffler I brought wouldn't work well with my car setup. He suggested another type (which he had in stock) and I agreed to proceed with the work. I also brought some other miscellaneous parts to make the install easier. It was not necessary but I wanted to replace them anyway. Even though I had to wait, I didn't mind at all. A busy muffler shop is usually a good sign they do great work. This shop is a prime example. They close at 3pm on Saturdays but he graciously accepted 3 other vehicles after mine. Thanks a million, Buddy. I will definitely recommend others to visit your shop.....as well as come back with my other vehicles for future exhaust work. Showed up first thing in the morning to have the exhaust system from my friend's wrecked truck welded on to mine. The prices were so great that I ended up just getting a brand new system! My truck sounds way more aggressive and its lots more fun to drive. I was in and out in around an hour or so. Definitely worth the drive from north Charlotte to have this done, everything looks top notch quality. Highly recommended going here over anywhere else.
