I was assured that they had one available, so I went ahead and made my purchase. About 15 minutes later, the location called me back and said they actually did not have a truck. When I explained that I had called specifically to verify availability before making the purchase, the person I spoke with was extremely rude and tried to make it seem like it was my fault. She then put me on hold for about 20 minutes. I hung up and tried calling back, only to be put right back on hold again. I then contacted Enterprise customer service and was told a district manager would call me to help get the situation resolved. Two hours later, I still had not received a call, and the location was about to close. This caused a major inconvenience and could have been avoided if I had been given accurate information or treated with basic customer service once the mistake happened. I understand inventory can change, but I do not understand confirming a truck, having me act on that information, then being rude when Enterprise's information turned out to be wrong. Very disappointing experience.

I filled up before returning the van, check it in, the attendant said nothing and printed out my receipt. A week after returning home I get a letter from budget saying they charged my card $28.39 because I was missing 3 gallons of gas when I returned it. First off, I returned it with the exact same amount of gas that was in it when I picked it up, I documented the gas gauge. It is almost 2 miles to the airport from the nearest gas station, so I used 2 miles worth and they had to drive it at least 2 miles back to get to a gas station since there is no gas pump in the parking garage. It is bullshit, how do I know there was not 3 gallons missing when I picked it up, or that their employee did make a trip around a block or two before stopping at a gas station to check it. I can't believe this company is so petty and so willing to screw customers after renting an expensive van for a week! I have rented from many many places over the years both for pleasure and business and I have never had this type of experience from any company, EVER! And when I called about it the lady that answered was nothing short of plain rude. I will never use this company ever again. I would give ZERO if I could! I was running late to a business meeting so I took the upgrade. There was also a lack of clear communication about insurance options. I would strongly recommend being cautious before adding any extra coverage. Overall, I had to call afterward to get charges corrected, which was frustrating and time-consuming. I left feeling very dissatisfied with the entire experience and will not be renting through this company again Also, wanted to add I was not the only one waiting. My husband reserved a vehicle almost a month ago for my 40th birthday trip. When he arrived to pick up our rental (ON TIME MIND YOU), he was told they opted NOT to hold our reservation due to a concert and race in the city, and had instead rented out all the vehicles that would fit our family. We ended up leaving 3 hours late and were LIED to about our options after that. We were told we could swap the vehicle out at our next stop in Tallahassee, but surprise, the Hertz at the next location also did not have the vehicle we needed. We are left driving a car with not enough space for the family members we have with us and driving a vehicle we cannot see out the back window because luggage is wedged in anywhere it could go. I absolutely will never trust this company again and will be asking my husband to abandon his President Circle status and move to another rental company. Thanks for starting off my birthday week with such a massive headache hertz.

Once I got to the location. After I've given my identification and credit card. I'm then told they don't have a pick up for me to rent! REALLY? I was only told that I could upgrade to a minivan. Oh yeah, I was assured that a minivan is an upgrade from a pick up. That made me feel so much better.(NOT!) The associate saw the frustration on my face! YET she tried nothing to make me feel better about the experience! I asked about my AAA discount. I was told that I had to book it online or book it through AAA! WOW!!! I can't forget the "wumdinger" of them all. I asked the associate when is there a pickup scheduled to come back in? She told me there was one scheduled to show back up at 5pm! BUT... there would be NO ONE available to clean it! WOW!!! So why in did you tell me about it then? The minivan had damage to the fender. I had to point this out to the associate. She wouldn't walk out to the vehicle. I had to drive it to her. It was just a bad experience people. After I returned the vehicle they still didn't give me my AAA discount. I know they can do it manually. Because they've done it for other renters I know! I should've been compensated just for the foolishness I had to endure. Needless to say.. I WILL NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN! Unless.. I absolutely have no choice but to rent from this location! I don't have to beg any business to take my money especially this one! The customer experience with this one particular associate was bad!!! I don't usually call names... So I'll leave her initials.
