Called ahead of time to see if they had availability to fix my brakes since I was attempting to have this done before going to pick up my daughter from school. they did have time and although $400 was a bit more than I would've expected for replacing the front rotors and brake pads. I had no issues since the was being done by a professional. So I pay my car comes out and the first thing I is that there is quite literally a bucket load of brake fluid pouring down behind my driver side tire. Before even getting into my vehicle, I got the attention of the guy at the desk who was still outside to show him and ask why it was that wet, it was very concerning to me, but his reply was "it is totally fine. " in route to go pick up my daughter no later than 10 minutes after I left i lose brakes .... Luckily, no one was in front of me and I had enough time to come to a complete stop. I opened the hood to take a look and see if I can see anything and what do you know all of the brake fluid was gone from the reservoir and the cap that was forgotten to put back on was sitting next to my fuse box on the side of the engine compartment. Despite the poor quality of the service and the danger of a situation that it was, at least I had not picked up my daughter yet and I was able to walk to the nearest autozone, get brake fluid and take care of the issue. read more

I brought my car in for two issues, a squishy brake pedal and the review the suspension of my car. I had a clunking noise coming from the front and rear rode rough. My car was put under inspection and I was told I needed brakes and a brake bleed to fix my brake issue, I asked and clarified I didn't need rotors or drum brakes and they agreed not needed. Also on the techs inspection paperwork there was no comment or issue with rotors. I was also told a mixture of things about my suspension. The lower control arm was described to me as the issue causing the clanking on the front and shocks needed in the rear. I paid and agreed to do the work. I pick up my car that evening and drove it to the store and home when my check engine light and ABS light came on along with major vibration and shaking when braking. The clanking in my front wheel area never stopped. I called the next day and was told to bring it in. They did not put my car up and pull it apart to look at it. Instead they told me it was a rotor issue and did not address the suspension issue. When I voiced my concerns about the rotor not being an a issue yesterday but now today I was brushed off. Then they got someone else to speak with me and he said he would pull the car in and go over it again. The car was NEVER lifted up and looked at. Less than 10 minutes later no the managers but a tech brought my keys out and said "I don't know what's going on I was told to bring you your keys". No further contact from Tyler or Ovi was attempted. I asked lots of questions and I was assured the repairs I paid for would fix the issues to make sure I would be driving off in a safe car with my 3 children. One of my brakes started grinding really terribly yesterday, so I came here after work. The employees were very friendly and professional, gave me multiple options of how to proceed if finances were a factor, gave me a discount and warranty on the brakes for future replacement, and I was able to get my car back after about 2 hours. I went back today although I was really nervous and unsure of the outcome. I had gone to them in November of 2024, and got rotors and front brakes that didn't go too well. They were smoking and smelling hot by the time I got home (about 12-15 miles away) and they never really got over the grinding sound, even with time. Then got worse again. I dealt with Ronnie, and let me tell you guys...... he is AMAZING!!!! He was very attentive to everything I had to say, and took care of my brake issues with so much professionalism!! I was able to receive new rotors and brakes still under warranty (I hadn't even driven 9,000 miles on them yet) Again.... I can't say how AWESOME he was to me and my Dad. Super friendly and professional man. Shout out and kudos to the two mechanics as well!! Fast but accurate service on their behalf!! So with all this being said... I'm on round two of new rotors and brakes. Right now I'm still hearing some grinding, but hopefully this levels off this time around. But as far as customer service and satisfaction.... So I was in very great need of new brakes and I stopped here on Friday evening, thinking I would leave my car there overnight for them to fix and replace them. I was told they could do it in about an hour. Wow. Ok then. Then they told me that my control arms would need to be replaced sometime soon. They gave me several price options and when I chose one that would fit my budget, they were fine with that. Then they offered me a discount if I could do the brakes and control arms then. It was a good discount, and I couldn't resist. Again, they said it would still be done within an hour or so. They guys were very nice and explained everything to me in non-mechanic speak. They showed me the bad parts of the brakes and control arms and explained it all to me. I appreciate their assistance in making me safe and back on the road. My rotors were warped they did not test drive after the first turning. Brought it back the turned them again. Still warped had to buy new rotors and pads now we stop well no vibration. Nice folks a bit slow but terrible work. I have never had anyone turn a rotor that was not done correctly even the parts stored. Never again! read more

I rarely give 5 stars to any type of mechanic shop because I work on my car and when I do take it in they usually over diagnose your issue and charge way to much. But, being lazy I took my car in for the brakes because I had one squeaking really bad. Dropped it off and they told me they would call after they looked at my brakes. Got a call about 20 minutes later saying my brakes were fine just dirty, causing the noise. They offered some cleaning service , which I declined but I was highly impressed with the honesty! Picked it up and wasn't charged a thing for them to look. Great people and good company. Will go back when I actually need brakes. read more

Everyone that works there is super reasonable, they are fast and do AMAZING work but most importantly they are very willing to work with anyone who is on a tight budget. These guys do not mess around! Extremely capable, professional, and HONEST. I brought in a bmw and a Saab and they were not fazed to work on either. The managers as well as the guys sweating it out, working hard, in the garage were forthcoming with explanations, advice, and questions to all my answers without the arrogance or sense of encumbrance one gets at other places. They even brought me out to see for myself what they meant when they recommended repairs. Since it was my first time, the corporate store even sent me a really fantastic coupon. The person who answered the phone when I called to ask some questions, was the nicest person I've ever spoken to in my entire life.

Called to make an appointment and stated only back pads only, what would be the price? Manager stated, starting at $89.99. I told him rotors do not need to be turned. So, I was expecting around $120 for the job. My wife showed up and manager said "yes I spoke to your Husband yesterday". He starts his work, comes to her showing the front pads needs replaced and all four rotors needs to be turned. I don't know where he got the front pads from (trash can). What the manager did not know I took my vehicle to a Chevy dealer before going to Buget Brakes for oil change and they stated you need back pads only, all rotors are in good shape, front pads have plenty of wear left. I told them I was going to Budget Brakes. $323 later. NEVER AGAIN.... I feel the manager took advantage of my wife. They didn't even have an inspection sheet stapled to receipt, wonder why? read more

They tried to pull a fast one on me with my Tahoe on a break job. Saying it will cost me $700 to do all around breaks and rotors. So I took it to another shop, come to find out my pads and rotors were almost new, just need to turn my rotors . End cost $60. Stay away from these crooks!! read more
