Drove up, got a quote for 4 new tires for my truck. I asked them to meet the price of another company and they agreed. The tires were high quality and they did the alignment. It was not a long wait so I will be back. they also check tire pressure and rotate tires for free. The hard sell is overbearing. I stopped in to get ONE tire checked because it looked low. They said they found a nail "too close to the wall to fix it", so they would have to replace it. Of course, then, you need a matching pair. I heard them give two other customers the same canned, scripted pitch while I was there. Coincidence? A few weeks later, I could feel vibration at highway speeds. Went back to have ONLY that diagnosed and remedied. Before they would even do that, they started pitching me on all sorts of other things - wiper blades, a new spare, who knows what else?! I cut him off and said, "I am unemployed. After having a horrible experience trying to get my Pirelli P Zero Plus AS 3s from another shop, which sounds surprisingly like this business name but with the words flipped, I ordered my set of tires from TireRack and scheduled my appointment online. It was timely, and when I arrived, the entire crew was polite and considerate. They didnt see the lug lock for the tires and asked me to check because they didnt want to go deep diving in my belongings which I appreciated. They didnt push any products or service, but I asked them to check the alignment. When they brought my results back, it was barely out of spec. Just barely. And on waffling whether it was worth it, the tech said, it was a fairly easy adjustment and offered half off the alignment, so I appreciated that they helped match the effort to the cost. The place is nice and clean, everyone was very friendly, and I got what I asked for without any sales pitches, and I really appreciated that. read more

This store goes above and beyond for the customers in store. They were able to do a great price match. The tires come with a great warranty. The staff is friendly and polite. It's clean inside. The bathrooms are neat and clean. The only thing I would complain about is when I called, I got put on hold and hung up on multiple times before I got an answer. My tire had a screw in it so I went to get that fixed as well as tire sensors that went out. They also discovered low tread on two of my tires. My husband was sick so I was handling this issue today and I was comfortable with making the decision to buy new tires so I declined a few different options that looked it to me for. They were so worried about my safety on two of the tires that they replaced them with almost new tires in the warehouse for free. They were most concerned with my safety and not with trying to sell me. I was so impressed and thankful for this customer service. I will continually go back there for anything tire related as it was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend I got there at 2:30 and was out around 4 which was pretty quick! read more

Ethan the manager was the most aggressive salesman I've encountered, couldn't get out of there fast enough. (Literally couldn't get out, because they made me ask for my keys 5 times before they gave them to me. I had to reach over the counter to grab them myself.) All in the name of a sale. Changed their prices lower 4 times in the conversation. Can't get honest service here unless you intend to bargain. When I initially called I spoked to a very kind gentleman named Zane I asked him how much it was to patch a tire and he told me it was free and I asked him essentially is there any hidden fees or anything like because I seriously only needed a patch so I could get back home (Michigan) he reassured me there would be none of that to just stop on in and he would take care of it. When I got here I didn't see Zane and another guy named Dillon "helped" me. Here's the thing I know part of there job is to up sale what's not part of there job is to lie by saying I need new wipers & say things like "you're not gonna make it back to Michigan, with those tires *two* tires the way they are" mind you he wasn't even talking about the patch that I need for my ONE tire. I literally got brand new tires (all 4 of them) not even 6 months ago and my husband had just replaced my wipers a week before coming down on this trip to visit my sister, a trip that kid you not I have done well over 100 times with MUCH older tires then that. I stopped him immediately when he said that I wouldn't make it back to home and I told "first off I will make back home more than fine. sir I simply need a patch nothing else." I really had to take a deep breath because how dare you say that to try and scare me into getting new tires like sir you got the wrong one my guy, don't play with me. He then said as long as it's fixable it's free talking about the patch at this point I don't trust him or the integrity of this place because they obviously hired this person. So after sitting for a minute, I walked back up and spoke to another employee and I made it very clear that all I needed was a patch and that if they can't do it to not do a single thing to my car so I could go elsewhere. Very quick and efficient . Have the best prices in the city. My tire I think was $68 plus taxes and fees to put it on I think was $115. It took them maybe no more then 30 minutes and they send you updated text to keep track of when it's done. 10/10 definitely recommend . read more

First Review I have ever written online, but needed to help others that might not be well versed in tire service pricing. Worst Experience my wife and I have had in over 20 years at a tire shop. I highly recommend you call in advance to get pricing for your service, and if acceptable write down the name and pricing quoted, so you can reference when you show up. I am hesitant to believe all these good reviews, as my wife called in advance, received a quote for $148.00 to de-mount, mount, and balance 4 wheels and tires. That is higher than what we have historically paid, but we thought all the great reviews might be worth spending a little more. I arrived, and after I unloaded the wheels and tires I was provided a price of ~$260 at the counter. I challenged the extreme high price, and the red-shirt rep (Mr. A) offered to reduce the price by $60 in exchange for me promising to let him attempt to sell me new tires at my next purchase. My wife had to call them back and get the pricing corrected, meanwhile (Mr. A) explained that they all have pricing discretion with no oversight, as an attempt to justify his outrageous opportunistic sales scheme. Worst part of the experience, was they were playing very nice Christian music in the lobby while this took place. read more

Pulled in to have my air pressure checked waited 10 minutes before going in. Pulled in at 10:30 was not checked in until 11:06. A young man did come out to get my keys and move my car which then allowed 2 people to get checked in before me and extended my wait time. I gave 3 stars because this is the 1st time I have had such a horrible experience here. I love Discount Tire in general. I have always used them in Arizona and it's really nice to know they have the same great customer values in Chattanooga. They are always helpful and the wait time isn't bad. If there was one item, I would suggest changing it would be the Christian music playing in the store. I wish I could give this place a 1star but this place really did it in for me. Ever since we moved down here we went there to get repairs, and replacements... but this past weekend my wife went to get new tires and they bait and switched her and sold her rims included... were they needed? No. Did she ask for them No. she told them she needed cheapest tires.. we are on a shoestring budget.. teacher salary.. and no summer school available... sooo she didn't question the cost, because normally I do all of this type of stuff... so she ended up using her credit card and spending 500$$$ for some tires, and NO they aren't top lines.. it really pisses me off when companies take advantage of women. Considering on contacting the better business bureau because of the shady practices they are doing. I would NEVER recommend this location ever again. read more

Truly great human beings work at this place!! I got a random flat tire one late afternoon and the Team at Discount Tire helped me get it fixed quick despite walking into their big clean waiting area right at closing time. There were a few people waiting but the area is very big with comfortable chairs throughout but they get you out quickly. Dudes literally sprint to your car to keep the queue moving, getting cars into the garage as soon as one comes out. Best of all, my flat fix was free! Yeah, they don't charge for that stuff or rotating your tires or checking tire pressure. I was amazed when they told me and even more so when the service level I got was just as outstanding as it was for the paying customers. I'll definitely be back and will recommend. Although the website said it'd be a week before they could see me, I called directly and got an appointment for a set of new tires without any delays. They ordered in the set that I wanted and it was a quick turn-around having them installed. This is a follow-up to a review I posted a few days ago. I had some issues with the initial visit here. But the business did eventually reach out and own up to mistakes they had made. The additional service I had paid for initially was provided. They were actually quite nice and professional about it. The manager offered to refund me $20 from the cost for the inconvenience. I said that would not be necessary. Everybody makes mistakes. The trick is to own up to them and correct them when they happen. Dude! I needed new tires and like bad. My friend got me a quote from this place and when I drove up, two guys came out to greet me, Josh and the General Mgr Michael. First, Michael remembered that he sent me the quote and greeted me by name. Then Josh remembered that my friend said I would be coming by. I couldn't have felt more welcomed. The guys got right to work on my tires and pretty much had me out of there in less than 20 minutes. I also am receiving two $50 rebate cards. The place is immaculate and everyone was so nice. They have lots of places to sit and cold water and coffee, hot chocolate, etc. The bay was super clean too. Seriously, everyone I met was so nice. Passing through on our way south with a large race trailer and caught a couple flats. Josh and staff were incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient. They made quick work of mounting up two new spares for us and replacing another tire. They went so far as to check the rest of the tires on our rig, added new valve stem caps and tire shine. We also noticed that service area was incredibly clean. These kind of road trip mishaps are inevitable and unfortunate but these guys put us at ease and got us back on the road in no time. read more

I was on my way to Chattanooga with my mother when I ran over something in the road. I didn't realize it did any damage to my tires, until we got halfway to Chattanooga and my low tire pressure light came on. Discount Tire was about 8 mi away, so I headed there. I originally got my tires at the Discount Tire store in Farragut. I knew that they had taken care of us in the past, and I knew that they would take care of me now. I know more than got out of my car when Michael, the store manager, came out into the parking lot and greeted us with a smile on his face, and an eagerness to assist me. I explained to him what happened, and he immediately took my car and drove it into one of the base and had his guys check out all my tires. The front driver tire had in fact been punctured and was down to 12 PSI from the 30 PSI (where it should have been). Because the tire could not be repaired, they credited me for the bad tire and put it towards a brand new tire. My mom was super impressed with the service I received, and told me that she would be getting her tires from Discount Tire from now on. read more
