Not only did he not remember our appointment, he hung up on me !?!? This 'person' is not professional or a businessman. We bought a house and immediately had issues with our chimney and ventilation from our hot water heater. We were referred to Budget Chimney Sweep and they came out worked well past 8pm to make sure we could have hot water that night and make sure the job was done right. Jarrod and his team at Budget Chimney Sweep rebuilt our chimney after it exploded from a lightning strike (dramatic, I know!). They show great care and appreciation for chimneys, so I think they are in the right business. They did an artful job rebuilding the brick chimney, applying the stucco and matching the existing paint on our house. The Budget Chimney Sweep crew came out today and assessed my situation I was having with my water heater not venting properly. I needed quite a bit of work done such as sweep 2 water heater chimneys and 2 furnace chimneys, manufacture and install a custom fit LARGE chimney top, bore a new hole into my basement wall to properly vent my water heater stack, correct the old hole in the wall from the current water heater stack, and even clean my gutters! The team was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They are coming out to complete all of this work here in one week. I called for a chimney sweep and was told to text my address and time. Never heard anything back so I called again. I confirmed appointment and they missed the window. I texted asking if they were still coming was told they could but would reduce price and come another day. Well they stop answering my texts so I am not sure about the quality of their work but the quality of their scheduling is terrible. read more

Good guys that do great work. They came over for a chimney inspection and sweep, but quickly found that my chimney was having much bigger issues than that. With pictures of what was going on, I was kept updated and knew what was wrong at all times. They came back the next day to fix everything. Very timely, professional, and their work was quality. Scheduled 3 times to come out for a wood stove install. He never showed, never called and I do not believe he ever really intended to come out. When I called him back he gave me an excuse that the family was sick (1st time). The 2nd time I called again to see if they were still coming out. He told me that he had an emergency on a job and was unable to come out. 3rd time he said he will call me when he was on his way....needless to say, I never received a call. I was shocked at the service received with the good reviews. After over 3 months the job is still not complete. Water is still running into the house - not dripping but running. The day they were starting to do the job I called Ron and told him they were working on the wrong side of the house. He said they were experts and to let them do what was in the contract and it should work. It didn't They went to the house several times and now say that there is nothing they can do for me. I had them on speaker so everyone in my office could hear them. They went out today and took photos and then left. I called Ron - also on speaker - and he said that it was not their fault they did something that didn't work and it was all in the contract and they are protected. He then put the phone down for about 20 minutes and then got back on basically to say I was on my own and I should try to sue them because even though they did something that didn't work and I tried to stop them they followed the contract they wrote up so I would lose.
