NOT ACCURATE, POOR SERVICE The customer service is poor and information about dumpster sizing on website is completely inaccurate. The 20 yard dumpster we received was approx 6 ft tall x14 ft long instead of 4.5 ft tall x 22 ft long. This may seem a small consideration, but it made a huge impact for practical usage since it was for residential use. It was too tall to comfortably load anything over the sides and harder to load in general because we would have had to lift things over our heads to stack them tall enough to fit everything in the trailer. They would not allow us to cancel and offered a small concession to the price for the "miscommunication"--not good enough. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would! I had ordered a dumpster on a Thursday with a delivery time of 6am-6pm for the following day. Friday comes, no dumpster! I called & they say it's a 2 day window. None of the text messages or emails I have from them state that. Monday comes, I call at 2pm they state "you're on the list for today, we have until 6pm". It's 6:30pm, I have NO dumpster! I called a manager who said even though THEY DIDN'T DELIVER that I would be charged a $150 cancellation fee! No way! My name is Hope Gaiter. I rented a dumpster from your company and it was delivered on August 6, 2021 for a 15 day rental. I extended the rental period through August 27, 2021. For some unknown reason, the dumpster was picked up at 10:00 pm on the night of the August 24. I have been calling since yesterday morning at 7:00 am to find out why the dumpster was removed and when I would get another one. I've gotten the run around on yesterday and not getting a direct answer on when another dumpster would be brought to  my property. I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND LIVING WITH THE DEBRIS IN MY HOME BECAUSE THE DUMPSTER IS NOT ON SITE. I was finally told today hat someone at Budget Dumpster entered the incorrect pick up date of the 24th instead of the 27th....not my fault. I have been told that I may get a dumpster anywhere back on site anywhere from tomorrow to next Monday. I am very unhappy with the service that I've gotten when I've fully paid for the dumpster to be on site through my entire project. This is unacceptable. read more

They claim to be cheaper but they end up costing you more money because they attach a end date to your rental and after the end date they charge you 15 per day until you call them to have the dumpster picked up. I thought Arrow Waste was getting expensive but there prices are fair and there is not a timeline to return the dumpster. Budget Dumpster IS NOT BUDGET FRIENDLY. STAY AWAY. Scam, please note the complaints with the BBB. I ordered a dumpster on the 7/14/ 2021 for delivery on 7/15th 2021. No dumpster, no calls ,nothing! When I finally reached them, they said the following week they could deliver. They DID NOT honor their contract for delivery on the 15th, and the did not care of the inconvenience to me the customer. I had to stop payment with the bank and place a warning on my account that any payments via Budget Dumpster would be unauthorized. They dropped off on the scheduled day and managed to fit it perfectly in my two parking spots. I finished with it within a few hours and called back to get it picked up but had to wait a few extra days because they had no one to pick it up till Monday. I would absolutely use them again but would schedule them to drop on a Monday so it can be picked up faster. They offer a fair price and friendly service. read more

These guys tore up my driveway by parking the dumpster right on the edge of the pavement. The driver came out to pick up the dumpster at 6:45 in the morning when it was pitch black. The driver could not see and rolled the dumpster off the edge of the driveway and then back on, leaving a huge whole. They would not take any responsibility for the damage, buyer beware! read more

This is a terrible company. Do NOT rent from them. I put in my request for a Monday delivery. No delivery or call on Monday. On Tuesday (mid day) no delivery or call. Finally called on Tuesday afternoon and was told my paperwork didn't get pushed through (but my credit card did) and they would deliver in the next day or two. So not only did I lose two days with workers helping demo a house but I had to PUSH to get a credit for 2 days and an extension. Terrible customer service that can't do anything and don't care. For a dumpster company they are "trash" Fast forward to the dumpster delivery and the dumpster is on its last leg. One of the two hinges is missing from the door. Part of the floor is rusting through. Now to rap up a crappy company, I was told when the dumpster would be picked up based on the number of days I paid for (plus the 2 day extension) so on the night before I undercover the tarp for pick up. Now 2 weeks later the dumpster is still sitting there and this trash company tells me I had to call to schedule a pick up to not incur extra fees. Why give a pick up date if I have to schedule a pick up date. Overall the worst experience with any dumpster company I've used on reno projects. BEWARE!!! read more

I would select zero stars if it were an option. This company claims to have sent me emails, which I never got. I tried to call them to remove their dumpster but their website was down and without emails had no way to contact them and THEN after I did get in touch with them, they charged me $75 in late fees. After being specifically told they did not have approval to charge my debit card for this fee and them agreeing to invoice me, I never received an invoice and they charged by debit card anyway. I do not recommend this company. It was easy to order the dumpster and was delivered the very next day. I was told that the dumpster would be picked up within 10 days but if we needed it picked up earlier to call them and schedule it. My dumpster was never picked up so I finally called them and they said that we would have to call when ever we are finished and they don't automatically pick it up. I disputed this with the manager he said he would listen to the call. Then came back on the line and said things that were never even mentioned on the call. Disabled Veteran requested early pick up Thursday, 5/21; received email confirmation for pick up 5/22. I scheduled off work due to their policy of drop off and pick up anytime of the day. Surprisinly the sun has been shining all day, and I have been waiting for pick up. Approximately 1:39 pm received call from Budget Dumpster advising the driver was out at my house at 9:45 am, but couldn't pick up the dumpster due to the area was wet or something. Needless to say they rescheduled for Tuesday, 5/26. Rental expires 5/28. Disappointed with the driver, didn't even receive a call he was in the area although I was monitoring outside all morning. With this economy can't afford to take another day off, guess I don't have a choice. I will probably seek other service vendors. Very disappointed especially since the company address is less than 6 miles from my house. read more

Phone personnel were friendly and easy to deal with. It is a contracted dumpster, but the price was lower than we could have negotiated by ourselves. We did end up with a really large 30 yard because the yard was out of 15 yarders. Other than it took up a lot of space, it was easy to load because we didn't have to pack things tight. When we called for pickup, we got vital information to make sure it would go smoothly. This may be the MOST heartless and argumentative and WORST customer experience company I've ever deal with , ESPECIALLY during this pandemic when other companies make concessions and have compassion. Also take a look at their status on BBB - I should have C+ - full of complaints. My mother is in the hospital with COVID - critical so I forgot the delivery date until I got a call from someone who I could barely understand saying he was on the way. I thought I had pushed the due date but apparently I had forgotten. I got no communication at any point after they got my money and made the appointment of the initial date (other than email contract) NONE - no text, no call, no nothing. I spoke with customer service and said all I had intended to do was push for a week or until I knew the condition of my family member..basically, I got "too bad - you read the contract" and we have no way or obligation to communicate with you after you agree to the contract verbally. What if there is a death in the family - are you supposed to know that a week in advance, are you supposed to remember something like this during time of grief or trauma? I think this is borderline scam if that's the best customer service they can do and the customer NO-service they have. BEWARE!!! read more

Don't bother with this guys, they were ok to deal with in the beginning, but the driver that brought the dumpster pretty much dropped it and made a big scratch and ding in the driver along with other scratches trying to place it. When I called them about it they told me to take pictures and send them to xyz email address but told me from the beginning that this incidents are very common and it happens a lot and that this would have happened with any other company!? Don't bother wasting your money. Was told that they didn't have a 10 yd, would get a 20 yd for the same price. Even when I pushed the date back, they could not get a 10. We had your typical debris for erecting a front portico.One window was taken out. Excess wood that was used to build the porch, bags of EMPTY concrete, boxes of EMPTY stone. That was pretty much it. Received a bill that we were over almost 3 tons!!! THAT IS RIDICULOUS! This project took only about a week, and all that was destroyed was one window... how in the world does it get an excess of 3 tons? I call BS- DO NOT USE. Addendum to my review: Their fine print for a 10 yd container says not to exceed 1 ton! If you research b4 purchasing, guess I did not understand fully, 10 yd containers hold 2-3 tons, so therefore it SHOULD NOT BE FILLED. Take special care when understanding this and reading the fine print. Why would you get a dumpster from any company and not fill it???? read more

It's a shame I can only give this company a 3 star rating because so much of my experience was worth a 5 star...For example, scheduling the dumpster delivery, the actual dumpster delivery, scheduling the pick-up, and the actual pick-up were GREAT! However - I scheduled the pick-up 3 days in advance and was assured it would be picked up the day I requested. I waited most of the that day, because the pick-up email stated the pick-up could be from early morning into the evening (no time commitments or window are ever given). At 5:30 I finally called to find out if and when the dumpster would be picked up and basically found out nothing. I was promised a call back and got none. I sent an email that evening and again heard nothing. I called again the next morning and got no more information other than the manager was looking into it. Later I received a non-committal email that made it sound like the dumpster would probably be picked up that day, but again there were no promises. The dumpster was in fact picked up later that afternoon, but I never received any call from anyone. If only we had been informed about the delay, all would have been fine. Except for the lack of communication about the pick-up delay, all was great, especially the driver who dropped off and picked up the dumpster. He amazingly maneuvered the dumpster into a tight spot and removed it with no damage to anything. He did an excellent job! read more

Complaint Type: Consumer to Business Complaint Nature of complaint: Billing or Collection Issues Problem description: I reserved a dumpster and agreed to call the company when it was ready to be picked up. However, the phone number painted on the dumpster itself is incorrect, and when you call that number and leave a voicemail you have no way of knowing that it is the incorrect number. Instead the customer is expected to remember that there is a different number listed in the invoice, and if you do not call that number the dumpster will not be picked up, and you will be charged for extra days until you figure this out. Customer service at the company states that they list the correct number in the invoice and attached email in several places and review that with the customer; they are willing to repeat that effort for every customer yet unwilling to correct the misleading phone number painted on the dumpster itself. It is not right to advertise a false number on the dumpster, which is clearly misleading. Because they are choosing to go to that effort instead of making the smaller effort of correcting the number, they are clearly benefiting from a deceitful practice. Desired Resolution: Billing Adjustment Desired Outcome Do not charge me an extra $75 for additional days because I called the wrong number that your own dumpster led me to call. read more
