Our home flooded June 26. I ordered a dumpster from Budget Dumpster to be delivered on the 28th and paid up front with a CC. The dumpster never showed up. I called that evening and after sitting on hold for 20 minutes, I used their option to send a text and wait for a reply - there was no reply. The next morning I called again and sat on hold for another 20 minutes, until I hung up and called their scheduling dept. They picked up immediately, but said they couldn't help, asked me to hold and transferred me to service. Again, 20 min on hold. The only dept. that answers the phone is the one that takes your money. They jerked me around for hours the day after our dumpster was to arrive, all while I was trying to clean out our home. This just added so much unnecessary stress to an already heartbreaking experience. I finally decided to cancel and call a different company, but when I called the cancellation dept, NO ONE ANSWERED. They wasted 2 entire days that I needed to clean out my flooded, ruined house. Flooded flooring and belongings need to be cleaned up right away before rot and mold set in. I was so upset by Tuesday evening, that I called the sales dept again (they picked up right away) and demanded to speak to someone in cancellations. This time I was only on hold for 10 minutes, I cancelled the order and was told I would be given a full refund. Two days later, our CC has not received a refund. Terrible service! I reserved a dumpster two weeks out (purposefully for the long holiday weekend), received a contract, and when the delivery date came and it was 6pm, I called to check in. These were easy to work with and easy communication. The dumpster was cheap and on time for pick up and delivery. We agreed that if I went over the weight limit, I would be charged accordingly. I would leave this company 0 Stars if that were possible. Problems began at delivery. Driver could not get the container dislodged from the truck after 3 attempts and when he finally did there was damage to my yard. Problem No. 2 - over billing. The company quickly charged my cc for 11 extra days when I only kept it 3 days beyond pickup. Many calls to the company to get the problem resolved. Problem No. 4 - don't even try to call this company. You will be placed on a series of holds for many minutes before you can actually speak with someone that can slightly help you. Problem No. 5 Pick-up. I rented a 30 ton container for yard waste (trees, shrubs, etc.). When the driver came to retrieve the container he began to rummage through the contents removing, if you can believe, a local grocery store sale paper......really??? Many 'choice words' expressed by both parties. I called and spoke with 'Tony' a customer service supervisor and shared my very negative customer experience. I ordered a 4 yard dumpster. They quoted me a price and I agreed. They delivered a 30 yard dumpster and promised they will issue the credit for the difference. They did not issue the full credit and sent me a new contract with the higher price after the fact. They could not pick up the full dumpster for 5 days after I asked for a pick up. read more

No scheduling skills at all. They don't give you a two or even four hour window for pickup/delivery like most services. Their window is SOMETIME THAT DAY!!! This may not be an issue for some but in our case a gate had to be opened in order to get the dumpster in or out. They tell you they will call you when the driver is enroute but that never happened. This is an issue I have with them, I asked them dumpster should be available for us in the morning, then nothing happen, I called them around 11 am, they confirm that dumpster is on the way and will be available for us in hour and half (12:30 pm), but 1:40 pm dumpster is still not available for us, I call them again and waiting I dont know when the dumpster will be available to me. I reserved a dumpster 1 week in advance. Paid in full!! To be delivered on Friday at anytime. We needed the dumpster on Saturday. I had a whole crew scheduled to clean out a house. The dumpster NEVER showed up... NO phone calls or e-mails to any of the 3 phone numbers they had. Called them Friday evening to see what happened. They are CLOSED THE WHOLE WEEKEND.... Apparently they don't care enough to even check their e-Mail over the weekend. Monday morning's e-mail(not Phone call they mustn't have phones) say we were unable to make delivery because of street problems and you owe us $150.00!!!! for trying. AND within an hour we got our Bill. Funny how fast they can bill me but not pick up a phone. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE ON THEM. THERE ARE PLENTY MORE DUMPSTER COMPANIES OUT THERE. Absolutely not. I can't believe I didn't check Yelp first. The guy on the phone was so friendly I didn't even check reviews first. DO NOT hire this company. They do not give you all of the information that you need for delivery (it was not given over the phone, on the confirmation email, or on the invoice). Then, because they do not give you that information, they are unable to deliver the dumpster, and charge you a $150 fee. I explained that I was never given the correct information, the customer service rep admitted that I was not given the correct information, and only took $25 off of the $150 fee. It's not even about the money. It just doesn't make sense how you can run a delivery business without first ensuring with the customer that there is the correct amount of space to make the delivery. So for anyone reading this, make you sure you have at least 65 feet of space for the dumpster driver to back up and deliver the dumpster. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and on every review website possible. I also already notified my lawyer about the issue. I am a kind and usually non-assertive hospital clinician, but this situation really irks me because it is completely inappropriate to not give your customer the NECESSARY information for a successful service. We rented a 20 yard dumpster for $500 and when they picked it up, it was less than half full but they charged us an additional $200 for being 3.23 tons over our limit! How do you say it is a flat rate fee and then charge more. They said it was in the contract and it was but when you rent a 20 yard dumpster, you would think you would be ok to actually USE it and fill it up. Never again. I have never posted a Yelp review, but feel compelled to do so for this company to save others from the hassle that we have had to deal with. We ordered a dumpster to be delivered on a Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no call and no dumpster. When we called to ask when it would arrive, we were told that it wouldn't be delivered until Wednesday. After several phone calls assuring us that it would arrive within three hours on Wednesday, it was not delivered. I arranged to have a dumpster delivered on a Monday the window of time they gave me was 6 to 6 which is ridiculous. then after waiting most of the day I finally called at 4 oclock to see where the dumpster was and they said there was a delivery schedule problem and couldn't make it that day. ( I had to call them) After this they promised I would be first on the schedule the next day and would have it by 8 am at the latest. I waited and waited and after 9am I called and told them to forget it and refund my money. No apology's nothing! They did refund me fully but I had to stay on them to send me a confirmation email. they are not reputable. i used them and got a large dumptster and they upcharged me $100 after the fact for an unfilled dumpster and said i was overweight when there was nothing but holes and gaps and air in the debris picked up. told me there's a difference between weight and volume. like it or lump it. don't use these people. on the largest dumpster they say you can be overlimit at half filled. total sham. read more

Be careful what you wish for! cheap, fast, on time..... All these looked great to me and ultimately made me make the decision with hiring Budget Dumpster for my job... This is a third party site and have there own set of requirements and limits I got a 30 yard dumpster for 549 with a 3 ton limiit. My dumpster came in at 5 tons and now being charged an additional 200 extra because I exceeded the 3 ton limit for a total of 750 dollars for a 30 yard dumpster. Most companies have a 5 ton limit and and 90 dollars over a ton. My beef with budget is they get you because your assuming that you can fill a dumpster with your standard demo material i.e. Drywall , wood , carpet etc and be fine without paying the overages but that's how they get you budget makes the ton amount less so they can charge you for the overages! MY Recommendations is go directly to the companies. You'll actually get your moneys worth! read more

I went with this company in hopes of getting some demolition work done on the 1st floor apartment of my house. I had gotten extensions twice and the thirds time i called for an extension I was told to "just give us a call when you ready for it to be pick up. A few days later the dumpster is gone and i'm only halfway done with my demolition. I called customer service that same day and asked why did they pick it up after explicitly made arrangements for an extension a day before the due date for the dumpster to be picked up. I'm quite sure it was the same lady i spoke with to arrange the extension. She had told me that I schedule for it to be picked up which was a blatant lie then later told me that someone will call me get the matter rectified. I never receive a call back. On top of all of that I only demolished 1 room and threw some trash out in my garages. Almost a month later I get charged with fees for going over the 1 ton limit. i had a huge complex i replaced all the roofs for 64 buildings in all. we started using budget dumpster after building 10 because it was less time and money. we rented 30 yard dumpsters 2 at a time twice a week with a limit of 4 tons at the cost of ruffly $400 i believe. during the build budget dumpster charged both my card and my partners card 3 times each without us ordering one. they made it 1 week before they couldnt handle the arranged 2 dumpster a week deal. no contracts signed and horrible customer service so i fired them. well my partner said lets just deal with them cause we are so busy we didnt want to make calls to other dealers to end up going through the same thing again. every week it was something different. they couldnt contact the drivers for they are a 3rd party distributor and could care less about what you have going on in your life or business. long story short after 3 months and they complex was finished we started getting these invoices keep in mind this is 3 months from the time we started using these scam artists. they said now stay with me now that in our 30 yard dumpster and 4 ton aloud weight we not only maxed out the 4 tons which on the phone said wouldnt come close to doing but we somehow fit an additional 14 tons in some cases of weight overage. every dumpster was at a minimum 8 tons over weight. so apparently you can load up 54 thousand lbs of shingles in 1 single 30 yard container. wow those are some impressive trailers and trucks to haul them away as well. so our bill added up to be on average triple what we had originally discussed over the phone but what nice guys they are for they covered half the cost of the overages out of their own pockets taking a loss on the entire 3 months of business. what a huge rip off and now are threatening my name black listing me from other dumpster rental companies and damaging my credit. emails and calls constantly what a nightmare. we paid them the dump rental fee up front on each and every dumpster and would have paid any overages but it is mathematically impossible to put that kind of weight in a dumpster. absolutely the worst experience ive ever had with another business in my life. this is still ongoing after reading these reviews it proves my point. i wish i would have done it before. rent from anyone else trust me it will be cheaper. oh yeah the overages totaled over $10,000 and wouldnt show me proof the dumpsters in question being weighed only written up invoices with some made up numbers typed in and thats what they say is proof. companies like this are the reason our country is about to fall off a cliff GREED GREED GREED so many more just like this one and policies put in place allow it to continue. the deck is stacked against the middle class and small business owners and thats a fact. read more

I would not recommend using Budget dumpster. I placed an order on a Thursday for dumpsters at two different locations that were to be delivered Friday. Waited all day...no dumpster. Called Budget at 3pm to find out when they would arrive...the response I got was that this is a very busy time of the year and I was on the list for today but it may be after they close at 6PM. Budget is closed over the weekends so I was not able to reach anybody which was extremely frustrating. Weekends are typically the time that people have time to move the junk. Why would you not have a staff manning customer issues/emergencies I am a realtor and needed these dumpsters as we had crews lined up to move starting Friday and throughout the weekend. When I spoke to Budget Monday morning I was told that the dumpster would not be delivered until Tuesday. Not acceptable...the home was supposed to close on Tuesday! Due to the fact that Budget did not deliver...my client was in breach of contract and did not close! This is absolutely unacceptable. I would NOT recommend using this company. Now, the question arises...what overage fees will they scam me with?? Stay away from this company. read more
