I had a few items that I didn't have moved or dumped - many were donated, a few weren't picked up by Goodwill. In particular, one ottoman and one rug. I tried listing them for freecycling on Craigslist, but only once, and no takers. DeKalb County would've come and taken them for free, or something close to it, but it would've taken 2 weeks and I needed the house empty. Enter 1-800-GOT-JUNK. I'm under the gun on time, but $285 for one ottoman and one rug is excessive, even with our current economy. I suppose I could've tried to load them up and drop them off myself. Perhaps I should've. I honestly think they saw the house and jacked up the price. The interactions were fine. They didn't damage anything, and I know that rugs have to go to a separate facility, but this was a $125 job at most. Edit: I'll up this to a 2 star since the customer service is as attentive as it is, but unless it's an emergency and you know what you're getting into, I wouldn't recommend the service at their price.

Five guys came this morning (2 days later) and unloaded 5 U-Boxes and put a treadmill back together in a little over 2 hours. They were extremely polite and careful with my things. They literally wouldn't let me help. They would take whatever I was carrying and tell me they're here to take care of it for me. I wish I was so well taken care of regularly in my life! If I ever move again, I will definitely call them! Ricardo was the lead for my move. Highly recommend!
